Jakarta, Indonesia – Sky Deck View of Bundaran HI 4K Walking Tour
Hello everyone and welcome to Jakarta, the capital city of Indonesia. This time we will explore Jakarta starting from Grand Indonesia Mall towards the Hotel Indonesia roundabout or locally known as “Bundaran HI” The weather in Jakarta is around 30 degrees celsius during this filming with a bit of overcast.
This is considered as good weather in Jakarta, because normally the temperature can be very hot and humid. Jakarta is the largest city in Indonesia and also the capital city of Indonesia. Formerly known as “Batavia” – Jakarta is home to more than 12 million people.
The HI roundabout that we are about to see was built in 1960. The roundabout is named after its proximity to Hotel Indonesia. At the center of the roundabout, there is a statue called “Selamat Datang” meaning “The Welcome Statue”
The statue was built in 1962 to welcome the participant of Asian Games 1962. However, as time goes by, the statue marks as welcoming landmark for anyone visiting Indonesia. Now we are going to see the HI roundabout from the sky deck above the busway station.
Sometimes the sky deck is full of people and tourist and you have to queue onto the deck. Now we are going to see MH Thamrin Street from the other side of the deck.
Other than the sky deck we just visited, there is another sky deck on the southbound of the roundabout called Tosari sky deck. as we are walking southbound of Thamrin Street, we can see Hotel Indonesia Kempinski in the background. The original building is preserved as part of cultural heritage of Jakarta.
When visiting Jakarta, always keep in mind and watch out for traffic. The vehicles will not stop and prioritize pedestrian. This is the Tosari Busway Station. This station also has two sky decks like the previous station.
Both stations has entrance fee to get to the sky decks of IDR 3,500 (USD 23 cents) and you must pay with the flash / e-money card to tap to the entrance gate. This is the south sky deck of Tosari station. not bad is it?
and this is the north skydeck of the Tosari station. Less people but great view. now we are heading northbound to see the first mall in Indonesia:Sarinah. Sarinah was built in 1962 and inaugurated in 1966 by the late President Soekarno. It was named after President Soekarno’s caregiver when he was young.
In 2020, Sarinah was in major renovation and reopened to public and continues to embrace local artists and producers to bring Indonesia’s superior products to export market. Now we are heading to Jalan Sabang where there are dozens of local street vendors serving Indonesia’s culinary.
Jalan Sabang (Sabang street) is located one block east of Sarinah. This area serves Indonesian culinary such as Nasi Goreng and Chicken Satay. This is the place to taste the authentic Indonesian foods.

Beautiful Jakarta
Best ❤❤❤ video always ❤❤
Well done jakarta
Keren
Saran sih coba di pinggiran jakarta jangan di tengah/pusat kota terus
Seandainya di jalan raya utama di Jakarta tidak ada sepeda motor udah maju kali lah Jakarta itu
Thamrin Staat 😁
good deal.
verry smooth bro videonya
I believe Kuala Lumpur and Singapore are much better than Jakarta. this city is similar with Manila.
Mash Allah Beautifull City Jakarta ❤❤❤love from Azerbaijan🇦🇿🇦🇿🇲🇨🇲🇨❤❤
It's no good. Pedestrian is full by bikes and cars. the local authority seems to build a high-rise parking building and rebuild a better pedestrian with local stalls selling street food. I think it will be more nice
Kayak nya jakarta gak seseru kuala lumpur di malaysia deh😂 gw lebih sarankan,,lebih bagus sihh ama kuala lumpur huhuh gw jugak gk suka jakarta ini hal beribadi gw yah,,kerna di jakarta itu lebih kepada bandar aja yg BESAR sesak jalan nya apalagi org²nya ramei bgt ngemis di jalanan apa lagi gedung² yg ketinggalan jauh ama gedung² malaysia yg mendonia,,,,,
