From Wasseralm to Kärlingerhaus – Hiking in Berchtesgaden cabin tour day #3 [Summer 2023]
As promised a nice quiet morning at the Vasa Alm with the sunrise and that one mountain there being reflected in the brook I suppose that’s also why the vasal is called Vasa Alm because of all the water that is around there but anyways early in the morning after
Having had some breakfast we all got going again so I am alone now again and I I have started out at the vas arm and I’m now walking towards the Caroling house uh with the Fon sea and on the way there are two Lakes I think it was
Schwarten sea and GRE sea I also kind of hope that I’ll see the Kik SE or Uber SE again which should be somewhere down there here you can see the Kix still in clouds well fu is the way I’m going now you can see the mountains but now I cannot walk and talk
Because the way is getting a bit um well more difficult I suppose so now I have been without internet for 24 hours with which is quite cool actually I just noticed um yeah that’s what it’s like being in the mountains you won’t always have internet or any connection to the
Outside world at all which is quite cool actually and now I’m already arriving at the next very Scenic spot I suppose because the way it looks it’s amazing and I actually think that one mountain that I can see in that direction um that you’ll see in few
Moments is actually a mountain that I’ve been on the other day the first day actually the second day because the first day I arrived at the car stll house and now I think this top over there this may be the mountain that I’ve been on possibly but I’m not sure
Actually one thing I want you to pay attention to is the sleeping witch over there if you just let your imagination play you’ll see that’s a witch that’s lying there with its chin and nose looks kind of cool from here one nice view after another okay so now I’m pretty sure that that
Over there is actually the mountain that I was on because from here you can also see the yenna which is this mountain all the way over there and I I kept going I always had this beautiful view of the fog on the kunix SE and I was also able
To take some in my opion kind of nice photos There well and then I kept going to the house cupf fell which you can see here where it is basically pretty much in the middle of this entire High hiking tour of that day’s tour and that was also the last time during that hiking trip that I
Saw the kic still covered in clouds and you’ve also got this really beautiful view on S balom which is this very famous Bavarian church at the Kik sea but luckily there are more Lakes than just the Kik sea and oversea so next lake is the schwart and after that Lake
I went to the grei probably be even nicer to be on the other side of the lake I suppose there’ be a nicer reflection oh and look at that you can sit down here now here we are at the next Lake I’m not sure which one it is
Actually it looks green so I suppose it’s the gry or something like that and at the I was lucky enough to see some muts though back when I was there I kept insisting that those were beavers because for some reason I thought they were beavers
Cute so here you can see I think it’s only one beaver beaver that’s left but there were three beavers earlier kind of cute and I was able to make some photos when I was closer with my camera not really the best lens for that distance
On my way to the kinger house though I was able to get another mamut on my camera and this time it was like 2 m away so the quality is a bit better I have now arrived at my pen ultimate destination and ultimate cabin
Oh yeah now I know what I wanted to say I think that is one of the most beautiful locations for mountain cabin so far because look at all that there’s so Much going to use my big one again to capture the amount of wow marvelous so right behind The Wonderful caringer House you’ve got the font SE which is also why apparently the um kinger house is also called Fon house I mean makes sense right and there’s something special about this Lake um this
Lake gets rather cold in Winter and is actually the coldest place in Germany if I’m not mistaken or at least the coldest temperatures in Germany have been recorded here and I suppose the weather station um is probably that thing over there and it was I think minus 44 de C
Or something like that rather cold and you wouldn’t really want to be here in Winter I suppose but that’s quite amazing in my opinion that it can get that cold the reason for that is that um as you can see here it’s enclosed by mountains and those keep the sun away
From reaching the bottom of the lake that’s how I’ve heard in a I think byun Funk report but despite this being the coldest place there are people swimming as you can see over there I to be honest for my part I would not dare swim in that Lake
It for me it would probably be too cold but I’ve got my camera with me I’ve already loaded off my backpack at the King house and now I’m just enjoying the scenery and hoping to take some nice pictures here but I think I’ll have plenty of opportunities I’m especially looking
Forward to tomorrow morning because as you can see the sun right now is setting here well jokes on you you can’t have a reflection in the lake if the entire lake is covered in FK but at least during the night I got a really nice picture with the moon out anyway I’ve
Got a nice sunrise here and can see the mountains and that are nicely lit by the Sun and now I’m leaving the caringer house and I’m on my way to the reman house and from the ran house I’ll go to my to the last cabin to the cabin where
I’ll stay um for the night which is the Inola house so I’m already looking forward to it and I’m also looking forward to uh taking a picture in a few moments here at this Lake the FY that I already talked about because I think there may even be some reflection down
Here which in this fog to capture that ah would be awesome I think so let’s see well there’s this one Mystic picture that I was able to take which I really like with the two hikers going there and the reflection of all it of it in the F
SE with the fork so that looks kind of nice but that’s pretty much the best reflection that I got there and that already marks the end of this video which means that the de la CR will be in the next video because the next video has got the in my opinion best moments
With a beautiful moon some animals and in general a beautiful scenery well then see you in that next video bye-bye

My first cabin-hiking-tour in Berchtesgaden at the end of summer 2023: I decided to spontaneously go for a hike because the weather was nice and really wanted to explore more of Berchtesgaden.
