We are always driving without tall roads there was one tall pass but because there was some uh road maintenance on the uh Highway it was free the screen says stop but nobody sto but at the tall Booth so we just contined and hope that we don’t get any Bills we are Johnny and Sarah we have been actually living in that van for 8 years now so traveling and living fulltime and at the moment we are traveling in crease and today has been a hectic day because it has been a driving day and I think there will be driving

Days a lot because we are middle of a cold break here in Greece in a it’s a winter after all and we are not in the coastline so it’s get really chilly here so we are driving more south chase in the Sun and this a

Ni place that we chose or each shows us we just drove by this little road just by the river and decided that this is good place to spend a night during the driving day yeah adorable Orthodox and little chapel and benches and table and we drove this day I think 5

Hours I think the out um we avoid all tall roads on the way so we chose uh free roads there are tall roads in grease and they are well not really expensive but yeah expensive nont roads they are bit lower but they are not annoying as in France where it’s

Roundabouts here they are good condition and they are just uh amazing scenery going through little towns yeah and basically we drove 3 hours uh in middle of fields this part of Grease is uh totally full of fields so we just drove there really straight roads and it was

Easy to drive but it was kind of sad to see because there has been a massive flood it was so sad to see how much damage the water can do yeah also the forest around us yeah it was affected by that flood same flood on those uh Fields

There were like 1.5 to 2 m of flowing water when the flood came so it was horrible and now they are just uh trying to rebuild everything we are traveling south this is uh I think 500 M from the main road over there just going to the

Small town yeah so good place to spend the night we never ever be overnight place where you can actually see us from the main road so we always try to be on a small roads if we see it or behind the poses so nobody can see us it’s a same

Safety reason and also we enjoy more like hearing the birds and that little stream going by and not car noises but if uh for example this road just goes to small town and there’s no like uh people driving through and soon it’s going to be so dark so I think we

Chang in the warmer weathers good thing about these long driving days we got take the the most delicious tasting fresh water from the mountains and we don’t have to settle for the bad tasting water so that’s what we are doing at the moment 110 L of really good tasting fresh water to our

Ceran water tank yeah and then we just continue driving there are thousands and thousands of beehives in uh Greek Mountain because they produce a lot of honey and wherever is water there is a lot of bees that is swarming of bees Sarah doesn’t like that at all no

Because they don’t like me they always sting me I just want to be their friend and they hate me and sting me and it hurts like a hell Bing doomsday click yeah and those mountains behind us it might be that uh it’s our place to be for summer months

That is one .6 or 1.5 km uh plane on top so the temperatures are much lower than down in the valleys and also one good thing it’s uh it has a really high pine trees so that is one thing that we do we always keep our eyes open for the places

Go through monthly Weathers in aqu weather.com and compare places where where we could actually be on the summertime because next summer I don’t know it might be really Horrible Beach Boulevard which continues forever nobody’s anywhere everything is empty and closed so you can enjoy sunsets just by the beach yes we had go to come to the Corin this night and we achieved it yay again I think 4 hours of driving to here so it was a couple of days of

Driving to get corent and from here we go to our home pelones yeah Corin is uh one of the most uh warmest places in Mainland trees to spend the winter wind is kind of brutal but otherwise this is quite warm Yeah we actually drove to another disaster we saw the floods

That they made we also saw the huge forest fires which were around the aens and there was like whole Forest gone it was awful I think we followed this road here uh 1 and a half hours and it was uh yeah just burned and we came from that hill over there yeah and

That was that was the most steepest road that I have ever driven I think something around 19 to 20% and it was completely the whole Road was that steep so it was kind of uh interesting to drive We Are Chasing the Sun that’s our mission we actually drove 400 km in

Couple of days and it was nice nice roads uh we didn’t pay any talls it would be like 35 or 40 to drive here uh where we were uh yeah good road still one thing that we do always when we go around areas and what we look for is a

Come to the Corin area or Corin Bay Area this is also a really good place to spend uh winter uh it’s quite warm in here during the quite Sunny yeah less windy and less rainy for sure and there has been a lot of people saying that

It’s a current uh Channel or current Bay is really good place to spend the winter and I don’t blame I was uh thinking about that corrent area is uh more like that we remember from our last trip like really hectic towns when we actually went to the corent Bay uh we went were

On the southern part of the Corin Bay it was really beautiful the water is so Jal and clear and also there was a lots of uh forests and lots of nice little bays and beaches we did drove past the corent canal and it’s so deep and scary looking

But it was safe from our van window and now we actually learned also that on the Corin Bay there’s really good uh tasing water so we uh fill up the tank before moving to next destination oh home yeah our dear home p p now we are on the

Current Channel Cent channel is uh just around the cor there and we are parked next to this river bank that is kind of scary and looks yeah really scary really scary but uh this is what we actually remember the coring Channel a really hectic Place uh

Yeah there is a oil facility just beside it and big um Bay of really big boats yeah ships yeah loud ships Rusty ships yeah but this is a really nice place just besid K Canal uh on a weekend time this wouldn’t be the best solution to go because uh there’s a lot of

Uh youngsters driving here and listening music because we are beside large towns yeah but luckily now it’s weekend yeah now it’s week oh it’s Friday that’s true we can’t really keep on track I was thinking about it’s like Wednesday no it’s Friday baby and we went for the

Crochet store and we have a Friday pizza night and we also took LBG to our refillable LBG thanks thanks uh we took LBC last time Romania Bulgaria Sunny bulgar did we yes Sunny gas from Sunny Bulgaria we LPG Sunny Bulgaria and sunny gas so it’s been quite a long time 28

Close an end of an era yeah but let’s make a pizza yeah we are really super hungry so it when you are driving it’s kind of gets exhausting and you just want to eat something simple yeah but well Camp is Basically beside this cliff and we for safety reasons we park at thean little bit further away from there but yeah these base are full of youngsters on a weekend time and it’s right there so I don’t know how this going to work hopefully well yeah so I just going to start up the

Uh Pizza process and we’re going to enjoy day here everybody is eating after driving day but this is how we make uh pizza or this is our treat on the driving days because uh after driving whole day you don’t really want to start making food

With the takes a lot of time in Van so this is our cheat day snack yes uh we buy frozen pizzas from Little this time quad forio and that way we can both have our favorite toppings in the top of the cheese pizza yeah so either that or

Margaritas we always buy so it’s easy to take your own feelings and that is s i taking a tuna and red onion and oliv olives and feta And PKA and I’m taking salami and bacon and feta so that will be my pizza om oven the oven that you can actually use on the stove there is this Grill which is perfectly Sized for our CER and pan and then you put a pizza there it’s like oven then and the bottom will not uh burn down yeah we are Level uping our pizza game I think uh having a pizza oven like really pizza oven and making your own dough it would

Be but maybe someday yeah making an own dough and sauce it takes ages now we are just so hungry we want to food and some comfort food yeah let’s start making our PES yeah and fetas in gree there’s a lot of uh different varet of fetas I think

Uh most of the Greek people buy the more inexpensive feta because uh there are more of those in stores than those really expensive ones this was expensive it was eight e per kilo I think uh you can get like six five or six per kilo it’s a white cheese

And a Brine and it’s it’s really good and we don’t discriminate either feta or white brine cheese they are both Great so good he tomorrow Creek salad and a lot of olive oil this good I think this is best tasting F that we have take accurate oh uh it’s a protected by law that he has to be from sheeps or goats the milk and sheeps and goats uh are fed

Of local Flora in areas where is no fertilizers and incest in seti sdes are used so it’s a reason why there’s so much Shepherd and I think uh most of the goats in whole Europe are in from Greece so they are producing a lot of feta yeah they are not called it Kebab

Animals they are called it feta Animals yeah many things in man life is always compromised because you you don’t have the space to have every catchet in the world to make everything even if you want but making a frozen pizza is one of the things that this is really good this works great but you could do

Better but I think we are over that you have to always minmax everything so have to have the perfect picture you have to have a perfect coffee right amount of foam you have to buy catchet for that to make the Foam or you have to buy a dough

Maker to make the bread it’s not enough when you make it by hand it’s a it’s a infinite Loop that you always find ways to do things more efficiently more better and again spending all the money and efforts on making little bit better we like simple

Things that is enough for us like frozen pizzas they are pizzas they taste great and they are enough and this is my pizza feta cheese Rola tuna and the most delicious Red Onion ever at the pizzas and now I’m join you in evening in Alan it’s uh Sun

Is setting so it’s getting dark over here and what a the best things about our place that you can see the tingling lights there is a big uh area of lights so whenever we are here we can see from our Windows there uh it’s bit noisy because of the all

The ships are making noise there but otherwise this is quite okay to be we have seen lots of uh Str here that is on only minus thing like I think 20 of them they are wanding around in pxs in here but it’s it’s really nice place going to

How do you afford your nomadic lifestyle?
We live on a true shoestring budget. We travel economically, we cook all our meals, we dont visit tourist traps, we enjoy being in the nature and hiking in the nature. We worked traditional office jobs for years and now we live on our savings and investments. We dont believe you need tons of money to to pursue your passion. However, we have learned that you do need to sacrifice comfort, consistency and safety, but that it is possible, very worth it, and the only lifestyle that makes us truly happy!
