Over at Railway Bridge and then you climb up a state to get to Main Street just as you start climbing that Hill you turn off to the right go to end of that lane and you can only turn left it’s a bit a steep climb up cobbles and when

You get up those cobbles it’s on the right inside the first building you come to is a car big car or you can go up that state pill instead of going up man Street the road Bears around to the right and levels off and halfway on that road crossing and

Just at the Crossing cu the Cobble land goes down to the right it go down there so that’s would that be going past the park the park on the right is it on the right you go you go around the top side of the park on the uh on the t Road

And at the end of the park the last part Gates is a pedestrian Crossing where you look to F pool you got cobbles up to left place Bo you turn right down a long straight cob Lane and you go down there and it’s nearly at bottom at left hand

It levels out at the top yeah be left in front of information office just you go down a bit of a hill there to right and there’s a fish shop there it’s a fish sh if you bear off to left B Cottages where cobbles finish at time time road yeah ladies

Toilet say yeah up to the left there’s an entrance to left that goes into car yeah ladi’s toilets are there just past the this to is like a Christmas tree on a bit of a garden thing right and that’s yeah I I’ll make sure I I check it out

Anyway when I’m up there it’s been a good few years since I’ve been to hour right so I’m going by memory you know but once on there you know it’ll all click in how are we doing for time for this are you getting the 1150 uh uh

They oh this to the bar look at this steam engine wonderful I always remember as a kid in the 1960s traveling by a steam train we used to better to wind the windows down like this one here look out we’ll get on here these cares to the next door please

Yeah seats the seat numbers on the back here any after this partition anything after that okay sorry that’s all right yes ex excuse me thank you s there we should be all right so I’m sh in the full length of the keithly and worth Valley Railway traveling from o to Keithley but there

Are stops at at how a I’m not sure if there’s another one as well but the thing that I always remember about steam trains he looking out of the window and seeing the steam from the locomotive coming coming past the Windows you’re getting this what happening here today on this

Train all memories from childhood I think the only other steam aware that I’ve been on since those days in the 1960s were the away I’ll see there’s any few people waiting to get on it Back time we get to Keith later Christmas decorations thanks not go down the front stairs engine off steam There so the engine’s being pulling the TR in Reverse you see the reflection of the fire in here the same engine has to be disconnected yeah they’re putting the lamps on the front so they’ll be checking the TR down the track reverse it drive p and go to the

Front of the train to pull it out of ke so looks better than modern day things out So it seems the uncuffing is been done it should be shortly be pulling away There he comes back to go to the front of the train it’s not just a steam it’s the noise everything that’s it so now have a little walk around Keith see what ke has to offer been a lot of years since I’ve been here I can’t remember anything about

It I know someone who used to I worked with someone who lived in ke and he didn’t have anything good to say about the place anyway I’ll met me all mind up just check for the time’s coming back want to be on the steam train coming back 225 444 225 4 45 225

445 yeah keth here we come here I come now minus two yeah that

Oxenhope is the first stop and its a pretty village set in the rolling hills of the Yorkshire countryside. There I meet 1940s enthusiasts, who are also travelling on the steam train to the West Yorkshire town of Keighley. I get up close to the locomotive and revel in the memories it evoked.
