Travel Mistakes to AVOID when Planning a Southeast Asia Trip #shorts
They don’t consider the budget, how long the flights are, how expensive the flights are. you’re looking at about $1,500 to $2,000 for two one-way flights or roundtrip flights just to get there from the US. it’s a long travel day. second is that they think they can fit in three or four
Countries within 2 weeks. these countries are big countries and there’s a lot to see and do in them, so you’re cramming in a lot of travel time once you get there. My recommendation is to really focus in, either go for a couple of months and take your time,
Or focus in on a few key places for 2 weeks and don’t try to fit in everything
Southeast Asia, which includes Thailand, Vietnam, Cambodia, Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia, Philippines and more cannot all be seen within two weeks. Even fitting two countries in two weeks is a lot. People hear that it’s cheap to travel there but flights are not inexpensive.
Mistake one – thinking it’s going to be a cheap trip. Flights are long and expensive.
Mistake two – trying to fit in way too much in a short period of time.
Avoid cramming in too many places on one trip unless you have an extended time to travel like a sabbatical or gap year.
I can help you plan your trip since I spent three months traveling all around southeast Asia.
