Traveling Germany/How to Make the Most of It/Places to Visit/Adventure Travel/Rhine/Cruise Ships

We’re on the Rind yay and as soon as we get to the Ry we see the big Viking Cruise Ship right there it’s a long one look how long that thing is and the castle a castle immediately that castle guards the entrance of the lawn River into the Rind

Very strategic Point look at the houses on the other side of the Ry there it’s very beautiful and the cruise ships they’re always everywhere here comes another right behind that one oh how exciting we haven’t been on the Rind for what about seven or eight months yeah it’s been a little

While we’re back back in the bike back in the bike truly if you’re if you’re a serious biker well I don’t think we’re serious because we’re just kind of stupid and Goofy and silly you know the serious bikers they wear these uh tur to front biking outfits and they got the

Racing bikes and they put their head down they just go as fast as they can so we’re not really serious bikers we’re amateur oh there’s a there’s a high-p speed uh it’s called an ice I train that’s going up to cologne and further into Amsterdam oh this is exciting but my

Point was was that if you’re like us and you kind of like biking then when you see the Rind you kind of crave to see it again you want to come back with the Ry we’re here yay we have arrived in brok which is supposed to be one of the

Better towns on the Ry River we’re especially impressed first of all because we are flower people we still the Wisteria greets us as we just pulled into town how Beautiful A How There’s the Ry bicycle trail it’s so beautiful look at this gorgeous here’s the Ry a castle up there this is what you see for 50 100 hundreds of miles because you know this this Ry Trail it goes all the way to Switzerland it’s like 600 I think it’s

600 to 700 miles long and then as you’re biking down the trails as you come into the the town areas you might see a beautiful little cafe like this for a little treat and we’ve probably talked about this before it’s always a big problem with us

Because my wife to tell you the truth she likes to go to the bathroom like every hour or so I don’t know something about women 2 hours she gets 2 hours maybe an hour and a half but anyway the bathrooms if you’re lucky enough to find one often they’re not free here’s the

Uh ladies the damond and you have to pay so this one’s 50 you just pay up and then you go inside and it’s not such a big deal because when you pay hey usually the bathrooms are pretty clean usually there’s often an attendant that cleans the bathroom so you’re paying her salary

But you get a nice bathroom for 50 cents it’s okay you’re glad to find it yes Donald and roil are eating on the steps of the church again in Bart this is called the market plots and there’s a beautiful 1600 era Cathedral and we are eating on the Park Bench it’s the Vietnamese fried rice fried rice very good good and we have Donald and rodelia at their cheapest eating on the street carry out food but what restaurant in Bart has this view we’ll take it and no extra

Cost and we can sit right next to our bikes and make sure they’re safe there they are okay bone up the B up a p yeah we’re just sitting here enjoying our lunch on the church steps and we’re we’re talking about how some people criticize us they say why you

Only bike about 20 m a day that’s not much but there’s so much to see and so much to do you got to slow down on these trips you don’t try to go fast I’m going to show you just a block or two of what I’m talking about I mean we could

Explore here for an hour or two hours easily just in these two or three blocks this is going to be a quick quick quick version maybe a little bit of fast motion here we go this is our Lunch Spot we just finished eating our bikes are here here’s this beautiful it’s a

Tourist information center now but you see the medieval church with the Twin Spires but let’s walk over here this is just a random tour in bartk Germany but just trying to prove to you don’t go fast that’s not the point you go slow here let’s go on this shop here

Look souvenirs made in Germany oh think you think oh it’s just cheap stuff but look it’s pretty neat look what’s inside here trying to sneak in here look at the C CL beautiful can I help it’s looking he wants to help me but I’m not

In the mood I’m trying to take you on a tour this is just random we’re walking down to the r is over there look at this Cathedral look at this sh quiet It’s the quick tour sorry I’m going so fast we’re going to be here 2 hours looking at this stuff but I just want to show you 20 mil is a lot to do when you’re taking time look at the half Timber you’re taking time to explore all this beauty every time you go

In there’s things to see things to do good and tug good and tug some people are friendly some aren’t it’s about 50/50 some people just look at you and don’t respond okay look here’s the r River as we walk through look look it’s that close and here’s our bike path it goes

That way it goes that way that’s the bike path train on there all there goes a cruise ship right there see this is just a random just trying to Pro to you there’s so much to see there goes the cruise ship and you see that it says Auto far

That’s the ferry boat and the fairy boat is coming to this side it’s right there it’s got one car it’s got about four bikes and a couple of tourists we’re on the Rind and look at this street there’s even more to explore here on this Way okay that’s a quick quick tour of just this part of Bart but there’s other parts you can’t go very fast 20 mi is a lot it takes us 8 to 10 hours to do 20 mi when you explore the beauty that surround you everywhere it’s just the most amazing biking experience anywhere
