Golfe du Morbihan dans la brume. de Vannes à port Navalo @VoilierMartineke 4K
Hello everyone today we are in Vannes temperature 0° mist or freezing fog and skidding pontoon skidding boat it is 9:30 a.m. and our mission if we accept it is to catch the ebb tide at 9:40 a.m. which will give us 6 hours to get everything out gently under sail since there is not
Much in the way of wind, a little concern all the same for this mist which has just settled in so we are going there all the same because the visibility does not seem to be zero and we have an imperative which is to get out of the gulf with this tide otherwise we
Will never be in time to welcome the family who are arriving for the end of year holidays if there is sun then this fog takes us by surprise but as we have already sailed in the mist or fog and we still know the place quite well we decide to go there cormorant
, lock I see a lock, we are going to overtake a cormorant no it turns away ah oh nice dive it’s a bit like in the mist electric, how are you Martine? no we can’t see clearly at the moment it’s more mist than fog so we’re going [ Music]
Then is the fire no not the fire, the bridge is the bridge open? We’re going to do it, it’s us, we arrive here we are approaching the opening bridge of Kerino and well the mist seems to be thickening it’s us turn off a little to
The right a little to the right you are not at center thank you and there and there you see the Gulf of Morbihan finally almost oh it’s magnificent yeah straight straight like that it’s very good ah there is someone who ate that one one
Day next it’s the stick and we turn to the right we decided to put the sails back a little later let ‘s look let’s look it’s okay where is it?
Ah I see them one over there there it is the stick plant it is over there we are going to advance to the coastline a little further a little as Martine says fortunately we know a little bit even we take the alignment of the buoys then we follow
Them we absolutely have the sun here we follow them we follow them then there we really have the impression we will soon emerge from the mist and that it will all be over all that which somewhere is a bit of a shame because it’s all still superb [Music]
Well here we come out of it it looks like we’re going to be able to bring the navy back to [Music] sailing to port Anna we even came across Santa’s boats going to port of Vannes so here is that from Boédic there is a little bit of mist or even fog which reforms
The Logoden still remains visible but rather in [Music] camouflage outfit arrived at the Truie d’Arradon we no longer see the continent just the northern tip of Île aux Moines it’s certain that without GPS we wouldn’t be [Music] there yes it’s Port NAvalo but yeah
Ah well Martine it’s been 3 hours since I last saw you thanks to the momentary clearing but why do we not have an image from Port Blanc to the Grand Mouton so Martine what was it like from Port Blanc to the Grand Mouton? we see nothing quite frankly we shouldn’t have gone there
I don’t recommend in the fog because zero visibility we didn’t see Port Blanc we didn’t see the monks’ island we didn’t see Gavrinis we didn’t seeing the Long Island we saw nothing at all in fact I didn’t see Berder either it’s sure in fact big white
That is to say the water merges with the fog the currents carry us away and we don’t not so much the feeling of the wind and so well we trust the GPS and cross our fingers that it doesn’t break down
In fact when you’re sailing and you have visibility you’re going to look at your you’re going to look at the horizon you go look at something in front of you and as soon as you have a boat movement a helm movement
You see the consequences in the distance well when you are in heavy fog in fact you have an illusion of movement even when you go in a straight line you have the impression that you are spinning because you actually see the movement of the fog which gives a false impression of
Lateral movement so ultimately we would have been better off on autopilot since it would not have had this visual influence and then when when you were in the zone enter the area between the Great Sheep not in the area between the mare and the Great Sheep what we have in addition is that
Even when you had locked your navigation to the helm with your eyes on the GPS and well you had the eddies and the eddies made you do 45° on one side or 45° on the other while at the helm
You had not moved anything so the GPS was telling you there is something happening but in fact on your sensory impressions you had the impression of always being straight, well adjusted, impeccable and that’s how at the last moment we saw Erlannig appear in front of us and we had to realize
That the GPS was right and that we had to make a 90 right to avoid the small island which was in front of us these are great moments therefore of concentration and stress not to advise
Well the family did not find the door closed but still not too much to do again go to the next one

A bientôt
Le cormoran est prioritaire, vous êtes rattrapant !😂 Instructif. Bonne fête du passage vers 2024 et voeux de bonheur. ⛵⚓
