Kein schöner Tag – Motorradreise 3, F. 87

Have you seen the crocodile hmm have you seen the crocodile no I have to get out the rain jacket it’s starting to ship hello hello My name is ruti and I’m driving a Terere 700 to the right of me that’s Frank with his five hundred KTM we’re in Bolivia right

Now in the north in the jungle and today the asphalt ends, as you can see, everything is charged and now I’ve packed it better, a lot more space, even if it doesn’t look like it’s a lot, but I have 5 liters of jacket with me, unbuckled here , everything tip top,

Yes it works into the jungle as I said, uh, it’s already rained, it doesn’t look that good either, but Frank and I have now decided we’re going to drive now, I have to go to the gas station again and uh, yes, I hope it’ll be okay with the jungle path, it’s uh, yes,

I do I met several people who said it’s unrideable when it’s rained, um, he here, who lives here and is also a motorcyclist, says it’s okay here, you have to be careful, it’s a mirror sheet when it’s rained here. I think if you roll over it like that, it should be okay but

With flip flops it’s life-threatening okay Frank I’m going to the gas station thank you very much ah it’s okay thank you so here it fits exactly through the Frank his handlebars are apparently a little wider or no I think it’s exactly 1 centimeter on the left 1 centimeter on the right

It’s already raining again I’m sweating brutally it’s so humid it’s unbelievable but when it rains it’s actually just under 30 degrees it ‘s actually relatively pleasant um but then it’s raining then now it’s raining for example yes to the plan today it’s going north into the jungle once It’s Trinidad,

It’s no longer part of a really tourist area, what it really means isn’t Rurrenabaque is another place in the jungle close to La Paz, everyone goes there and all the tours go there too and so on and this is it It’s kind of an insider tip and, um, yes, we’ve already

Spoken to several Bolivians who have done it and they said it’s crazy, the route, um, and no one does it because there aren’t any buses or tours there and, um, there are so many people Not traveling on your own, especially not gringos, the thing is, as I said, that the route,

Some people have said that, as I said, it’s not rideable in the rain because it’s so muddy, it ‘s not possible on a motorcycle , but the other guy has now said so Isn’t it a problem, um, yes, there’s probably a lot of asphalt, but there are probably as difficult parts as always,

I don’t know, we’ll just try it out now, if it gets too bad, you can have to turn around, but I actually want to, um, if you do that now It’s about 8,900 kilometers to the north and uh at this northernmost point is the Brazilian border

And since I only have 10 days left on my visa I actually wanted to go to Peru near Lake Titicaca but there are these uprisings and uh the borders are closed that means if I then I’m standing in Peru and my visa is running out, um that’s just not that cool

Because then it’s super far away to Chile and also to Brazil , that’s why I want to go over the border and get my new visa, that’s just a thing If you go over that as a person, it’s not that bad, it somehow costs,

It doesn’t cost much per day, you just have to pay, but it’s still possible to confiscate the motorcycle, of course you don’t want that, so you shouldn’t exceed that under any circumstances those are the 2 reasons borders visa check and uh crazy jungle tour let’s see

What awaits us and let’s see what the weather is like the environment here is just crazy you can definitely say that no matter where you are here it’s a real jungle because the white ones grow here I don’t know, I almost said water lilies, but they’re something like that. Oh,

A helmet like that hasn’t been invented here yet. Nobody wears a helmet here, you can see this here , so he he he and those with the umbrellas, they’re always taxis, that’s how it was now Here’s a string that they pull up and something doesn’t let us pass. Let’s see

. It’s not running properly again. Well, I thought it was great, that’s why I’m here now, I would have stopped here anyway or driven slowly because you’ve fallen so far behind, what does he want to see, take it with you. Show him! Good day, okay, good day. Papers? Where are you going?

Er To San Joaquin. Driver’s license or something? Yes. This is from my friend. Yes. Patrick exactly. From which country? Germany Do you have a number plate? The number? Yes, that’s DI DI P 700. seven hundred. seven zero zero Exactly. What brand is your motorcycle? Yamaha color? black-blue. A combination? Yes. Tourist? Yes.

And your friend’s please! From Germany too. Yes, but the brand of the motorcycle is KTM okay. Welcome. Please drive carefully! OK. To avoid accidents. We don’t want that. There are many animals on the street. Be careful! oh okay, yes of course. OK. Thanks. Bon Voyage. Thanks. Bye. We’re supposed to drive slowly,

There are a lot of animals on the road, we’re supposed to, we’re not supposed to do anything stupid. Here’s your passport. You let us know when you’re ready. That’s how we ‘ve done it. It doesn’t cost any money I’ve seen it but the people are always really nice, you have to say that

, uh the police and stuff like that, I’ve only had good experiences with it uh Frank’s having problems again now it took me the whole morning to pack it up and try to keep quiet ah it’s going to rain ah Because I was so lazy, now we set off.

Now the box doesn’t run, so the box runs again. I’ll just wait until it starts. Put the stand up and then you can turn it on. It looks like it ‘s already gravel, where I am here It’s okay to drive , but then you can see how bad it is. Oh fuck,

It’s slippery, you can forget about driving here. I think I’m tired of it now, so I’ve let out some air, I’ve got my pants full up to the top, that ‘s how it is smooth uh oh fucking I don’t know where it’s best to drive more in the wet more in the slimy

Too slow as always bad probably I don’t know I really have to get here first and if I drive like that of course I need 8 hours to get there That’s where we end up in the rain or yes, yes, let’s stay together. If we find something

, we’ll stand down and if not, we’ll move on. Okay? Oh man, now we’re driving into the rain, I think everything’s okay here with the stones, it’s just this clay soil where there’s nothing where it’s really like so muddy, yes now it’s really raining oh look at that up

There the herons are standing is also cool Holy shit now it’s getting uncomfortable it’s rain jacket after rain jacket again It’s just so hot that you don’t really want to drive with this Gore-Tex stuff, but if I don’t put it on now , the jacket will be soaked and I have to stop.

Oh man, how annoyed, that’s no fun at all, so now it’s raining a little harder. I’ve got a rain jacket on I’ll do that, at least today I had the foresight to pack all of my electronic devices into dry bags. Oh, now it’s raining down my neck.

Oh man, I’m in such a bad mood because I didn’t really want to, then I think so Now, hey, if we had followed me, we would have been nice in the hotel and now I’m driving around here, I ‘m wet down to my underpants, um. My sweater

Fell into the dirt and got soaked. It now weighs 8 kilos In addition, the visor is rained through from the inside and outside, it’s always like that, just keep the visor closed when it’s raining, but it’s just 30 degrees and you’ll just die

He he he he if you’re driving it’s fine but if you’re standing too hot now it’s really raining there there there there you can hear that, oh yes , something clicks while driving, I’ve pushed it a bit now but I can’t do it here it’s too uneven

So you can hear something clicking I don’t know it could of course also be dirt I’m driving slowly now you hear The view here is so phenomenal, the guy behind me is also doing something on his car and I have a small piece of asphalt here on the bridge.

You can maybe hear it. Do you hear the clack clack, what ‘s that clack ? nothing I have no idea at the front here I want to switch in briefly from the off and you know that I ‘m live in Venezuela now and these events happened exactly 1 year ago

And here you can see how beautifully the front wheel turns . I had a video about the fact that my front wheel doesn’t turn at all anymore and then I googled and so on and in many forums it says yes, that’s completely normal, that it only goes one and a half revolutions,

That’s a motorcycle and not a bicycle and so on but how to do it here Um, it turns very much like a bicycle and that was also interesting for me to see, um yes, it’s just that these pistons brake pistons get stuck after a while and it wasn’t enough to clean

It for an hour and a half , I have to open it twice and clean it twice, everything is fine , I have no idea what that is, ah shit, today the sweater is really soaking wet, there’s a clacking noise , now the petrol tank hasn’t fallen down,

Now there’s still 5 liters hanging here, oh shit, you have to say that this is holding up It holds up, I thought I had lost the 5 liters now too, yes the clacking noise calms me down a lot, it’s just like the last time

When you jack it up and shake it back and forth and roll it and everything then you don’t hear anything, um yes if It’s rolling now you can hear it but when you jack it up it’s not the wheel is fixed

At the front is fixed the sprockets are fixed I have no idea what that is again and I had just checked them but something positive I’ve now used my Stanley Cup for the first time for cold Filling it with water and that’s also super cool because normally if you get something frozen here

It’ll be hot in 2 hours but here it keeps it super cold and really pleasant , at least I mean I don’t have anything left anyway It’s shit in all directions, I have to keep going anyway, last short break 50 kilometers before arrival. The sun is setting there, but I still have a

Little bit left Just enjoy the sound of the jungle for a moment , yes, and there are rivers and things like that. There could be crocodiles in there. I have to pee. But I don’t go that close to the edge, not that it snaps. Um , yes , it definitely got dirty,

But It’s okay, hey shit, I looked at the camera, yes, I caught a pothole 2 or 3 times and as you can see, maybe the GoPro always catches a little more light, but it’s already pretty dark, it’ll be in the next, I’ll say half an hour it’s dark

Now the guy in front of me has to close his visor otherwise I’ll have all the sand in my eyes um yes and what worries me a little bit is maybe too much but yes what’s annoying is that it’s still 30 kilometers away somehow but Google shows it’s almost an hour away

So I don’t know, at least in 3 kilometers we’ll turn left there and then we’ll see if it’s a really crappy road or if it looks like it’s a wooden bridge, I’ll just drive over it in the middle and see what happens You definitely don’t want to fall into that he he

Hey yeah it’s really cool here the path ouch oh full of something in the eye there are a lot of mosquitoes and birds here and you can see dragonflies and millions of animals that I’ve never seen in my life and yes, I definitely want to reach Joaquin before dark, hopefully, because

The jaguar is sneaking up, ah, what’s okay here now, ah, now it’s getting denser here and the trees are getting higher , I don’t know if you can hear that I can hear the animals chirping through the noise of the motorcycle and the jungle noises , um, that ‘s awesome and

You can always see eyes everywhere in the headlights 18 kilometers of road here is better than the other one, I would say maybe it didn’t rain here or there is less traffic, um San Joaquin is the only place on the way up which is 900 kilometers um with a gas station

That’s why there you have to pass anyway um oh la la and there’s probably a hotel too so I don’t know if you can see it I’ll try to shine a light on it Bienvenidos a San Joaquin Powered by Coca Cola he he he um I’m there in front the light is on

I I survived without an accident but today I was annoyed oh oh oh but I have to make sure that you don’t lie down now. I can’t see it anymore. Is it sandy or is it dry so I checked in uh 80 for a double room with air conditioning

Top top top so it’s 11 euros um here is a dry clothes horse it’s all a bit damp I had the jeans on and the rain pants over them which means the jeans aren’t dry and everything is a bit wet and a few things

Even though it is It’s just that there were always showers, where can I show you a few things? It’s quite water-repellent, but it’s already 7 years old or something like that Of course I have the electronic things here in these bags but, um, yes, one or two of the underpants here

Have gotten a bit damp and I’m stuffing them in here but that’s not a problem, of course, but of course you still have to dry them a bit and the problem with my sweater hey Hey, it’s dirty as hell. Maybe I can show it. I just took a shower

. I have to make sure I don’t hang out here now, but yes, of course it’s super dirty and soaking wet. I’ll just let it dry now and it’ll have to be washed anyway. It won’t help if I do I tried to rinse it out there , so

The shower doesn’t have enough pressure for it, it’s always not like ours, um I would have to rinse for 23 hours and then it’s still not really clean Frank because I was messing around like that and said I’ll turn around and blah blah blah he said ah yes turn around

And then he didn’t know whether he turned around or not maybe he did give me this WhatsApp from him once but um yes it was very little Reception on the way he didn’t even see that I had written back, well, excuses, of course I haven’t been able to look at

The bike in any way yet because it’s pitch black, um yes, I’ll do that tomorrow, so I don’t have anything here anyway I can repair it, no matter what’s going on here, there’s nothing you can do. I could leave the bike somewhere and then go somewhere else for a week, but that’s no

Use to me either. I need the visa from Brazil, so I’ll definitely ride these 500 kilometers tomorrow Wow , it’s really oppressive again. I don’t really want to do anything outside , but you know my motorcycle does faxes or supposedly faxes. I can’t do much here , but I’ll at least

Roll it on the asphalt and see if it works This noise still makes , let’s take a look here, by the way, I’ve already covered it , there it is and there are loros here, I think they’re called little parrots , it’s the same as yesterday

When I turn the wheel, jack it up, shake everything around firmly, um and no noises but if I push it once in a revolution, so clack clack very easily, which is not good, um yes, at the front it squeaks when I turn. Of course, it could also be that somehow

The brakes and so on are due to all the dirt, but that’s not that bad, but at the back it bothers me more worried , I’m on the moped now, there’s nothing to be heard , I was also rocking and so now I can’t with the camera in my hand,

I have the case on my lap but ha ha the kids , well I have no idea, it’s not like that that I don’t bother, I’ve now let Frank drive again, it’s natural now that in my opinion it was a lot louder yesterday, now he’s just turned the corner here,

Um and now when he’s pushing and so you can hear it less and less, I mean That’s good , but I know that it’s coming back, it won’t go away, um, there’s something, I don’t know what, quieter than ever before. nothing, right? My KTM has never been so quiet.

But you can hear it squeaking and nothing like that maybe I’m paranoid Hola they can say Hola so hello Hola of course they don’t do it in front of the camera today I had to suffer a little, um yes but That’s part of the adventure. You’ve heard that I’ve decided

To continue driving despite this clicking sound and I’ll do that in the next episode. Then there will be adventurous ferry crossings and also a difficult border crossing . There ‘s one more thing I’d like to clear up uh, in the comments from the last video, there was a little discussion about when this

Bolivian adventure in the jungle took place. I know it’s a bit difficult to understand, but at RutisReisen there are uh 2 storylines , uh my chronological narrative of my trip and here I am I just arrived in Bolivia and that was exactly a year ago, uh 2023,

But because of the hard drive crash and the fact that I’m falling further and further behind , I’ve now decided that I always want to tell you something live about what’s happening right now Um, what are the problems right now in terms of taking you there with me and because I like it

, it’s fun that you live when you have it live, as I said, I don’t think it matters much because you can still do the trip this year like you did last year Year , um, of course, there are always protests and so Bernd asked here too, I think from Skyblue Tenere,

Um yes, what about the protests, they are still in Bolivia and so on, to be honest, I don’t know, um but also in the ones with In the six months I was in Bolivia, there were protests every now and then, so it’s like here, I don’t know, like here in France,

They always go on strike, you could say so , so it’s constantly up and down these protests and um yes you always have to take a concrete look at what it’s like on site. I can’t say what it ‘s like in Bolivia now because I’m

I don’t know 7,000 kilometers away or something so um I’ll be happy to see you again next time I would like to thank the supporters, namely Friedrich Sven Udo Wolfgang and Günther, thank you very much, um, tune in again next time, as I said, then we continue

With the story from a year ago, um, adventures in the rainforest, until then, goodbye, I have to Now go eat something, bye

So what?!🤷‍♂

    LG Wolfgang

  7. Hallo Ruti,
