All right all right all right what is up I am in kalabaka cabaca is a little town yeah I can call it a town it is bigger than a village right beneath meteora’s monasteries and I parked the car in the little parking and I’m about to walk

Into the cabaca town to explore what it has to offer and I the the chances are pretty damn solid if you were visiting metora some of you probably visiting this place and uh I’m also excited about it because I was here in the town yesterday it seems like a

Very nice place a very beautiful little town with coffee shops and everything and I am about to capture this and show it to you so let’s let’s take a walk in cabaca for if you were entering the town from the side that I’m entering from the little

Side over there the boards are showing if you want to go to yuana you go left and if you want to go to the center you go straight and if you want to go to kastraki or metora you still go straight yeah so we are going to go straight

Because we we want to go to the center and look at the Meteora monasteries over there in my right side we have a hotel it is called Divani Divani metora Hotel Divani in uh Indian language means also crazy it also DEA or DV means like Saints Deva means Saint who is male or

DVI means who is like a saint and it’s a she yeah Divani means crazy and in farsy or in the fary Deana means also crazy and in in in PTO means lean crazy so Divani yeah is not not a bad name for a hotel I don’t know what what language it

Is uh used for this hotel yeah but it surprised me and I also notice some more hotels right now here next to me is Hotel orif F in the left side and oh there is another hotel And antoniadis antoniadis hotel fourstar hotel yeah and and we have also like coffee shop Tavern around this area well there are two ways to go to the center one is like over there the other Street and one is this one this one leads up to the train station and to the bus station

But it is not interesting it’s like a two-way street and then uh we can if we go right then we can go to the center but if we go from that curve that’s where the hotel Divan is right beneath the monastery of uh a a

Stanos so if we go that way that will be like much more scenic uh so let’s let’s walk to that that side for for for there are lots of hotels and the vibe of walking through the streets is kind of giving me the vibe of being in uh

Switzerland in uh St Nicola it’s it is like the mountains are so visible and here Meteora is visible and then really nice uh walking path with this trees and with the lights and with the hotels in the boatside I can imagine that if this is the season for the

Tourist this will be filled with people and everybody will be shopping and everyone be in their balconies looking down at other people yeah but so far very clean very nice very pristine yeah although most of the services are at the moment closed uh but uh temporarily closed but it’s been kept

So clean and nice and it’s not like this is only touristic as you can see we have here this tool shop it means along with the tourism uh Community the local life uh is also taking place so it’s not just like a touristic area somebody got really creative with this for

And the town itself it seems like a like a big town it seems like home for uh for lots of people uh looking at the traffic and looking looking at the scale of the houses you you can easily tell that there are lots of people are living

Here and also by looking at the rest of the services uh like the the like the mini markets like The Courier Services and some uh other shops supermarkets Banks all of that stuff is uh here yeah so it’s not like a like a let’s go to this the Steam Park and

That’s a touristic no this is an actual Greek functioning town and we have some beautiful paintings here if I could I will grab one of these paintings especially the one which is showing the entire Meteora and it’s showing the town the kastraki and also the cabaca it’s it’s really beautiful

Looking yeah I could have hang this in my house so those are the things that if you visit this place by yourself you can see it with your own eyes and if you ask me what time is the best time to visit cabaca and Meteora I will suggest

Anytime what suits you is the best time but if it is less crowded I personally prefer that one and now we are getting close to the taverns and cafes and bars area here we have a square kind of area with the crapes bars I don’t know the name to this exact

Square but it seems like it has uh too many options to choose from for if you are going for food or if you are going out for a drink and also it has a nice uh like a like a square a area where you can just stand maybe chat a little bit

If in case you were waiting all of that stuff yeah and mostly like food food things I’m not like super super duper uh educated about cabaca um I just uh drove through cabaca I wasn’t I paying so much attention because I had to focus on driving but it’s also for me the first

Time whatever you are seeing what whatever we are seeing is for both of for all of us it is the first time so if something is uh a little bit misplaced then signal me P oh boy imagine sitting here in this coffee shop and then having this view in front of

You the monastery of aano and the monastery of Trinity and then you are sitting here drinking your coffee and nothing can be beautiful than that spe and here we have a map of uh cabaca it shows the old town is over here right beneath the monasteries and

It shows like that’s a very uh historical old church over there and then there is a path food to Meteora 1 and2 kilom so what good to have this information in the middle of the town and that part goes to kastraki yeah and that’s where I was talking

About the view from over there if you were sitting over there then the view towards Meteora monasteries is very gorgeous spe h and now we are walking towards a little bit more localized uh area where you can see the courier companies or much more and the shops and supermarkets

Everything is around the corner supermarkets cini is around the corner and the good thing is that uh they have left a Behind These shops and markets uh free parking places so if you look in the Google Map you can find free parking places Behind these buildings which is a

Very good thing to to have in a in a town that dedicated free parking places from the municipality uh for the locals and for the visitors to have uh a bit of comfort when they are looking for uh to park their car and explore the town and we have more zero chicken lamb

Pork restaurants and right in front of me more Restaurants for and we have another Square here with some cafe coffee shops Visa shops and tourist Services restaurants around the square and from every Square The View towards metora is just epic it is so epic and it is so so beautiful yeah everybody is uh chatting you can hear

People talking daily life is taking place and here and there you you you see you catch some tourist walking around and of course there are uh uh activities adventure activities like uh this uh parachute activities ebike shops that you can rent from here and you can go

And then uh different tour packages and if you are into those things all of them they are available in this town and you can uh ask and you can look in the internet and then they they will show you everything and also the bus station available here train station available

Here what else do you want that makes uh kalabaka and metora like all year round best destination to to take like a break from the city life and just go there out in the nature and also have a little bit of services around you to to to to

Participate in some fun activities yeah highly recommended this place for speech speech speech and the train station is not too far from the this street that which I am right now walking uh nothing important just had to answer the call and we are still uh exploring I

Was talking about the train station the street that which I’m walking right like if you would go uh toward East downhill about 15200 M there is the train station and there is the bus station uh if I had battery and time left at the end of this video I’m going to take you

There and we are getting close to our next Square here again with bars coffee shops I can see some uh Irish pop style bars which I like personally it has that wooden texture to it but we have also a water fountain right in front of us

Oh that cat is not in good good condition she’s been attacked by other cats I really like this this corner of uh cabaca it’s very beautiful and imagine sitting in one of these tables or in one of these restaurants with somebody that you love with somebody that you care about

And with somebody that you can share a universe a thought and uh just look at the the the the scale of these uh monasteries chat a little bit and and share a meal with them it is going to take the whole experience of traveling and Life to

Another level and I’m pretty sure that if you are someone who is visiting this place uh you’re going to feel the energy you’re going to you’re going to feel the vibe of this place which is absolutely unique to its its place to this place it’s Unique you cannot feel the some

Certain special way that you feel here look at the scale of these monasteries I mean look at the scale of these rocks and the monaster is over it oh okay and from here I’m going to try to find my way towards the old town of kalabaka but here right now where we

Are we have also a taxi stop in case if you are in the need of a taxi we have also a taxi stop as well I see today there is the farmers market I’m going to walk into the farmers market today in kalabaka spe spee

It seems like a very big Market we have the vegetable area and then we have like the uh meat area fish area possibly and then we have like the tools area speech speech spe you want for This is one of the most profound experiences you can have while you in kalabaka I don’t know what day is today let me check my phone Friday 19th of January today and uh the time is um 10 uh 15 uh a.m. so if you can plan your uh day at this day Friday

You will be able to visit this Market as well and I cannot express how pleasant it is to be here Fore and we have everything in this market we have clothing we have socks we have shoes we have bags yeah even we have curtains and uh cloth of various type uh these for the kitchen tables plastic so this this is a full on functioning Supermarket but everybody

Has their own little separate shop and it’s not like owned by one Mega company who owns everything and controls everything you can hear talk negotiate the price of things which makes a human interaction it’s like very humanly you can talk to somebody and you can if if

You cannot afford that thing and then you want to buy that thing still for your child who wants it who wants it and then you can talk to the person you can tell hey my child wants it but I cannot afford it and then you may find uh a a a

Solution yeah which makes it so human to be to be buying things not I mean all the time it’s not a good thing but it’s good to have uh an interaction while making a transaction the market is right here on this road which I’m walking

Kind of a little bit uphill is going to lead me to one very historical church and it is about 8 minutes from here yeah I will leave a link to that uh Church uh in the description and the name of the church we when we go close we are going

To read it on the board for for now we are at the Old Town of kalabaka small little houses quiet nice and we have a seat here for it is hot I begin to sweat yeah honestly for not about bad view towards the town towards the mountains and also up towards the Meteora

Monasteries okay so it says it’s a bisen Time Church 11th century and also it’s showing like you can walk to the AIA triada from that the holy uh Trinity monaster you can walk tou the path over there over there that I can easily admit right now the temperature at this very exact location

That I’m standing is about 20° C it is hot and it is getting hotter yeah for looking at the door of uh the this bis and church which I will leave a link in the description to this exact location looking at the door it reminds me at certain point everywhere in the world

Everything was almost the same it it reminds me the way I remember doors uh the way they were built in Afghanistan and uh then things begin to kind of change and every day and it’s it’s like you you you you can feel the the uniy uh in

The architecture you can feel uniy in the the way they were making tables and the way the doors were built it was quite uniting people so there was a sense of familiar it if somebody was going from uh one region of the world to the other region well of course there

Are absolutely differences but you can see how things were similar at certain point and then they begin to kind of uh take different colors and they become different and now we are we are we we have like thousands of thousands of different designs for for a door some of them is

The train station it is always standing out to me it’s special to me like standing here waiting for the train and then the train coming and somebody that you love getting out of the train and you run to that person and then uh then you you hug the person you kiss the
