Hi folks Mr Egg here Live Well live on record here at soy diamond and uh I just wanted to tell you that I do listen to all the feedback that I get uh from you on the Channel people com to the bar and say Hey you know you’d love to you to do

A video about this or video about that and one of the ideas I got was from a guy called Dale hi Dale and he said why don’t you do a video about the best things businesses by your bar and so diamond like the best restaurant the

Best go go bar and I thought great idea but unfortunately I know so many restaurant owners I know so many go go bar owners I’m going to upset someone so I thought why not just have it for soy Diamond people go on about walking Street and walking street is fantastic

It’s new it’s been refurbished it’s incredible but there are people that don’t like it that tell me they don’t come here so you might be interested in um the smaller Community if you like of soy Diamond what’s going on here uh what kind of bars and businesses are there on

This little soy my little ecosystem so I thought we’d do a video about that today and we’re going to start of course with my Bary here leop I’ve been here for seven years just in case you don’t know this is going to be a blatant advert

We’re open at 4:00 at the moment we finish at 2 that might be changing as you know you can uh open till 4:00 a.m. officially at the moment uh but I haven’t done that I’m not too keen on the the kind of demographic of customers that are walking around at

4:00 in the morning uh I’d rather get uh people in earlier and uh and for them to enjoy but there are certain sporting events that go on a bit later that we could open later for and and there’s all sorts of reasons why we might open later

So we might open later that’s what I’m basically trying to say we’ve got great girls here it’s indoors where we we’ve got um uh airon or you can sit outside and just people watching she’s great I’m going to take you there in a minute but there’s a windmill uh there’s two

Windmill go go bars and like get here about half six and look at all the girls coming in uh walking to work fabulous City we’ve got food service aircon uh satellite TV system where you can watch all the latest sport buffer free it’s great maybe if the cameraman just comes

In a second um so uh that’s here and we’re open from 4:00 and I’d love to see you come on down and say hi opposite me is a lovely guy I’m I’m going to say You’re going to hear this a lot I’m never I’m not going to say everyone’s

Horrible on this s cuz it’s a nice Community but during the pandemic Amigos here Amigos actually used to be in a little unit that I’ll take you to in a minute it’s a tailor shop at heart but it’s also a bit of a travel agency and it sells uh

Luggage and stuff like that if you are looking to take a thae lady to Germany or Austria they have great connections to those parts of the world if you want to buy an airline ticket really quickly and really cheaply uh it’s good to come here as well they do a great service and

You know what from my heart some of the nicest people there and by the way if you want to get a shirt get a ta a tailored shirt shooting trousers I can recommend these people they are the best they really are genuinely nice people they help people out uh feeding people

During uh the pandemic and everything and it was fabulous don’t forget this bar here casino now this bar Casino used to be it’s been a lot of things it used to be called Shooters uh many many years ago about 15 years ago I know definitely in 2006

Because this bar was the only bar on walking street that had the world cup from South Africa um from a South African server it was from 2006 it was from France I do know uh but for for reasons that I can’t explain the first few matches of the World Cup

Weren’t shown on Tai TV but they were shown here and this place was absolutely packed at that time so I know in 2006 this was called Shooters people might remember Paul Patterson who’s been here recently was the manager here Manfred was one of the owners Bruce mangos who’s

Coming in in March hi Bruce he was here as well this has been a lot of things since then it’s been a go- go bar french guy owned it and uh now it’s owned by Mr T who used to have uh Diamond Agogo right back

Uh and I’ll show you that where that is now um but right now it’s called Casino it’s kind of a late night venue there’s sometimes dancing girls in there but it’s great if you want to come late night got very very loud music great party atmosphere casino is the place to come

And of course who remembers milk milk used to be actually called Night Train um and it’s kind of a long fin bar as you know um Mr T had that the one I’ve just seen was the owner of that uh I took it over about a year and a half

Ago now turned it into milk I’ve seen sold it on I got a great new guy in there called Richard and it’s a really really nice bar again uh come on in there’s some great girls there um and uh and and it’s going from strength to

Strength so f is milk I was telling you about um Amigos Amigo Taylor used to be here uh it’s now closed down and look in slight disrepair I’ve got to be honest I’m going to say some great bars but there are a lot of bars that are here

For development if you like they’re looking to get uh rented out so Amigos used to be here uh there was a place called The I think it was called the egg Center or something like it was like an Indian food place that uh was basically selling everything with eggs um I

Thought that was a bit cheeky but never mind who remembers this said this actually used to be um I’ve got it here you can see maybe that we can cut back to this and put an into um Swiss house and uh this used to be a double unit Swiss House Restaurant guy

Called Andy used to be the owner uh I’m not sure whether I saw him about 3 years ago I’m not sure whether he’s still with us I heard he was not very healthy I hope you’re okay Andy if he’s still with us but if not he was a great guy uh and

He was the owner here and it’s been all sorts of different venues since then it’s been empty for a long time uh so there are a few empty bars as you can see who remembers this place here which is nicer go go um at one time it’s used

To be electric blue uh it’s gone there now um it was going to be can I say this a bar called Suckers but unfortunately there was some some kind of problem they couldn’t open it uh it was a massage place as well for a very

Long time that’s a rent as well so yes there are a lot of bars that are for rent um here in this particular area but I’m going to show you some more bars that are open doing well just next to me behind the camera and to the right is uh

A bar that has been here for 2020 25 years Lassie bar it is owned by a guy called Lassie from Finland um very very quiet um no no music very traditional Finnish bar full of Finnish people if you like Finnish food uh then I suggest

You go there I don’t want to film inside it because there are people inside and also opposite there there’s uh a place called lat Trio everyone just calls it the French bar it’s owned by a french guy who used to be a rugby player uh and used to play professional rugby and

France he’s massive guy loves his rugby and he’s open very late as well and I’ve got to say during the pandemic that bar never closed it was open all the time uh not serving alcohol but just there for people to come and say hello so I like

To support These Bars that came through the pandemic and didn’t close we’ll have a walk on WE we’ll stop it right here and then we’ll walk on and I’ll show you uh a few more places that you might Remember what can I tell you about the windmill that hasn’t been said a million times um you might say well why aren’t you showing us the bar when at night time and there’s all girls outside we don’t like to film on this channel when there are people uh inside the bars or

Girls that clearly don’t want to be filmed so whill it’s been open since now let me get this right 2004 I think um uh originally it was set up by two guys uh called TJ and Dean I know Dean is an avid viewer of this channel hi

Dean I know he’s coming over soon as well uh got took over by the guy who’s most famous phone is David David is an institution over here one one of the the word Legend is overused but he is an absolute Legend there are other owners involved over the years um windmill has

Now sprouted into windmill 1 and windmill 2 which is over here windmill 2 used to be the old Diamond of Goo where T used to own and um slight difference in the two I’d say the music is a bit kind of funkier over here uh you’ve got

Two floors on each and between them they must have like 80 90 girls here at the Windmill so it’s definitely worth a visit wher you go to the original windmill one or the windmill too I actually used to live in the windmill when I came over 11 years 11 years 12

Years 12 years ago I actually spent my first few months living in the windmill can you imagine right and can’t touch the girls so I was there every night like there was a brick wall like that and there was like 10 girls in the room

Next to me but I I wasn’t tempted I did not go anywhere um it was great uh it’s it’s just an institution so windmill one and windmill 2 cius my biggest video my most popular video uh has been about this this bar here uh it’s not for everyone clearly

It’s uh C is the Tie word for lady boy transgender uh my biggest video was made inside here it’s got two great owners used to be spankies who remembers it as Spanky spanis was a uh a a go- go bar very very big I think it’s

In nanop Plaza if I’m wrong it is in nanop Plaza and uh the the big ultimate selling point that they have is they got that sort of um foam insulant from piping and they used to whack you over the head with it and they used to do

Sort of BDSM faux BDSM sort of party games in there and stuff like that um not not really my cup of tea to be honest and it soon sold out and for many many years now it’s been curus it’s very popular if you’re not into lady boys you

Can even go in there and just watch the shows and it’s a very friendly atmosphere and I got to say this like this whole soy is a really nice uh friendly atmosphere there’s no Politics on this s everybody kind of gets on with each other which you can’t

Really say about certain other places and other s I’m not mentioning any names but as you know this year has been a lot of things this used to be called gentleman club before gentleman’s clubs were gentleman’s clubs if you know what I mean uh gentleman’s clubs now

Considered to be sort of daytime venues that are a little bit naughty sometimes out of the way you know not in traditional places but this was called gentleman’s club for a while and one of the managers of Heaven above I can’t remember his name I sorry maybe put in

The comments down below used to own this um I nearly very very nearly back in 2003 bought this it was owned by a guy called Brendan hello Brendan if you’re watching uh who owned a lot of the buildings here uh he actually owned my condo for a

While I didn’t even know Bryan used to own half a Patia um it’s now been bought by The Windmill and it’s up for it’s going to be developed into a into a bar very very soon I know David and his team has ideas and plans to develop this so

Um that should be interesting moment it’s kind of a store and that’s a great little sort of area here because um it’s kind of on the corner and you could do things with this you can kind of see yeah it’s it’s a great little little venue for somebody I’ve talked to you a

Lot about the Diamond Hotel and it would be really nice to see this come alive again and I hope it does one day but um right right now it’s closed and as I said before on videos it is of for sale it’s nice to have this area kind of

Quiet where I can speak to myself heavens above opened again in 2003 I think so looking at 20 years ago now an upstairs bar a small bar really difficult to get people customers in an upstairs bar uh because people don’t like walking upstairs and there was always this feeling that anywhere

Upstairs is a bit of a ripoff and a bit of a con and we were told if you go to uh places in Bangkok uh Pat pong was a great area don’t go in the bars upstairs I remember reading in the book guy traveler’s guy to Thailand don’t go in

The upstairs bars they’re just a ripoff so it was really difficult to get people to go up but it was a hotel and it was also um uh a very very good um goo bar very small TJ was the guy that mentioned him before was the guy that kind of designed it

Along with some of the owners there there was Greg a guy called Patrick there was another owner I do beg your pardon if you’re watching so I can’t remember your name but American gu and and they used to um they used to do great shows up there it was AER of its

Era it was a fantastic bar it’s it opened again recently uh but it closed the the people Greg and his crew have now moved to Soy bonot I think is uh soy Boomerang uh so you can uh you can go and see him there and he’s got a great

Lineup of girls there if you want to go uh it’s l empty but I believe that the hotel is still available and the diamond Suite is really really good value hotel and it’s right bang in the middle here so if you’re looking for a good hotel go

There I missed out the Swiss Swiss food which is just opposite the windmill apologies for you there’s rooms available there as well if you’re looking to stay here some of those rooms have got jacuzzi and everything and uh they’re on places like aoda and booking.com so if you want to

Stay in this area you can stay there as well these bars to the right now I always get this one wrong there was super baby Supergirl and Carousel and I’m pretty sure that this one was Supergirl this one which is now called yes uh the one next to that was

Called Carousel two massive massive go- go bars in their day they’ve laid empty for a long long time now um I think I’ve discovered before I’m not sure about the foot traffic down this dark alley now it’s very dark the the Pavements not so good and also a lot of the businesses

Here kind of leak out into the walkway so he can his some storage there um and sometimes the restaurant that on walking street that was open there which is recently closed this month actually um used to put tables and chairs along there so it wasn’t ideal for for foot traffic um and

Uh so it was a bit difficult for for the Traders here um Paris Agogo was right down the bottom as well who remembers that Louie uh a guy from France Believe It or Not uh had a fantastic bar there um with uh great girls really really like oldfashioned uh go go bar but

Plenty of naughty things going on and in the early 2000s that was going really right as well these Goos here are all up for rent now they’re they’re not and as I say the foot traffic’s a bit of an issue uh for me personally but uh I’ve

Seen some of those I think Flex is the one of the go go bars there is is up for grabs if you can sort out some restrictions on parking cars and other other bars putting stuff down there I think that those uh bars would be a real

Winner uh so you know might be interested in that let’s have a look over here what what has said about Carousel uh an institution uh in in soy diamond and it’s open again and they really theyve spent a lot of money on it it looks they brought it into the 21st

Century and I’m really really pleased Brad from Australia is one of the owners here and they have live music here so this is the live music venue if you want to come down on soy Diamond they have a band here every night it’s quite a late

Night place as well so if you want to come for a late night drink and yes the carousel does go round and round uh if that’s what you’re into that was the big unique selling point of the carousel was a it was a carousel he went round and

Round um I’m not never quite sure whether it was named after uh uh Dallas uh strip club Owners Jack Ruby’s bar which was also called Carousel I’m never ever sure but anyway that was a carousel interestingly the go- go bar which was called Carousel as well that

Also had a carousel in it which used to go around it which is great you used to sit there with you drink and he used to see a girl like it was a circular stage you say Oh that girl looks nice and then she originally she she she’d sort of

Come around and you’d see her it was a very slow turning Carousel but yeah interesting idea and and a good idea it’s open virtually 24 hours but it really gets busy late at night and uh as I said you know just an institution super baby used to be right

Here uh and uh a very popular bar I don’t know why it closed but it closed about 2009 2010 it’s been bought by uh some Chinese operators that have extended it into the bar next door and so you’ve got a massive go- go bar here

Coco which has got not only toe girls in there but girls from the from the Far East uh from uh the former Soviet Union shall we say uh called Russian but I don’t think they’re from Russia they’re from other B so from other countries so it’s very very popular girl not a cheap

Place at all but they’ve got some really high quality girls there anybody who remembers the sea goog go I’m pretty sure it it might have been this building but I’m pretty sure it was the next one so the sea used to be here where is Coca

Goo so you’ve got Coco and Coke right just just so that you don’t get confused I think it’s kind of got some shared owners I’m not sure the ownership of it but that used to be the sea the sea was a great go go bar the theme was that it

Was supposed to be you know you were supposed to be in like a an underground Cavern inside the sea and the roof had like coming from it and stuff like that it it it wasn’t I didn’t like it at all the interior but it was a

Great old fashion goo bar which was cool uh it then became a sports bar and now um it’s become KOCO goo and it’s been doing great if you’re interested if you’re walking down soy 15 there are back entrances to both of these bars here so you don’t have to come into soy

Diamond or if you’re just being lazy you just don’t want to go onto walking Street you can just come through those those areas there uh and just come straight in um they’ve got uh New Star Bar there and I think this is BJ bar here not quite sure what the name is

Anyway two great um 24hour be bars at the front you can sit there and you can watch the world go by on walking Street uh they can get a bit they can get some interesting characters in there early in the morning let’s say CC it like that so a very quick tour of

Soy Diamond a lot of people moaning about walking Street about the prices you’ll find but the prices here on soy Diamond are not walking Street prices they’re considerably cheaper there’s some nice girls for some sensible uh lady drink and barine prices so if you’ve not given it a go before it’s

Opposite candy shop and 808 you’ll see the big diamond arcade and you can come in here so much history here but so much for the future as well if you’re looking to maybe invest in in a in a property or buy a bar there’s lots of properties that are available
