Take a look at some new places and that is what we want to do in this case. We drive to the Playa Parazuelus campsite. This new campsite is located southwest of Murcia, almost directly on the sea. We started from near Mazarron , took the 332, took the slightly longer route

Because the road there is better for driving. We are now driving through the small town of Los Coras and we see a small supermarket on the left. You can drive there from the campsite. Is about 3 to 4 kilometers from the campsite. Some people will know this region because there have been

Three parking spaces in this region for several years. And now this new campsite has been added. In this region, vegetables are mainly grown in large fields, sometimes under foil. We can now see the sea on the horizon and also the first buildings of the small town of Puntes de cal Negre.

First we drive through the town, the place is right by the sea. There are three restaurants here and the place is about a kilometer from the campsite. Once you have driven through the town, there is a large parking area on the right-hand side. However, it is not allowed to park your motorhome here.

Piles have been used here for several years. At a few hundred meters, so that you can no longer drive onto the beach with a vehicle where there is no longer a barrier. This is often used there for free standing. This area here. We have now reached the campsite. Here on the left side,

Where the tall palm trees are, there is the new campsite. I had asked beforehand whether we needed to make a reservation. No, we didn’t need that because there are enough free places. This place opened in November 2023 and it is a campsite. Of course, caravans can also be parked here.

And maybe I can say that right away. Dogs are also allowed here. Yes, this is the driveway now. We see them as generous, so they are also suitable for ships or anyone who comes here with a trailer, for example. No problem. There is enough space in the driveway. The campsite was

Rarely visited after it opened in November. That changed over the course of December. There are two reasons for this. At one point the so-called Snake Bay was closed. The parking space that used to be there is no longer there. And then there’s the fact that many don’t

Start their wintering in Spain until December or after Christmas. We registered and were warmly welcomed by the employee Nieves. She manages the space here and we have a free choice. We are free to choose a place, but most of the places have no electricity.

We don’t need electricity either and so we chose a plot of land quite far up front, i.e. with a view of the sea. There are plots here that have fresh water, sewage and electricity on site. Our plot doesn’t have that. And here is the price list.

Depending on the plot, prices range between €13 and €23. If I understand correctly, in places where electricity is available, electricity is included in the fee. It was explained to me when I checked in that everything will change again here. This is all a temporary situation with the current.

You need a new, larger supply line and then there will be more places with electricity. The prices will then be adjusted accordingly. It’s best to ask again when checking in and be told exactly the price that is valid at the moment. This is how we positioned ourselves. I’ve marked this here.

If you stand like we do, you have a beautiful view of the sea in the mobile. We have plot 216 and have a lot of sun. We also have little or no shade from vehicles next to us . There is a door in the fence.

You can use this if you want to go to the beach. Or this large open space that is right in front of the campsite. The road lies from this open space or on this open space. This street has little traffic and when you cross this street you are immediately on the beach.

The beach is a sandy beach with small stones. I think this is good for swimming. Of course not when it comes to water temperatures of 14 or 15 degrees. What’s nice here, of course, is that you can take long walks on the beach, even with your dog.

Dogs are allowed on the beach here. That’s not the case everywhere in Spain. At least in the winter months this is apparently allowed. In summer I don’t know. It’s now mid- January and there’s a lot of change here at the campsite. Some new ones arrive every day, but some also leave.

I would say the place is up to 50-60% occupied. The word has probably gotten around that there is also space for large or very large mobiles. You can find some of them here. There is a sanitary building at the edge of the campsite . There we also find showers,

Toilets, washing up, facilities – the entire program you need. Everything was clean and tidy during our stay. We’re still trying to improve it. For example, the water supply was not sufficient at the beginning. Now more boilers have been built so that the hot water supply is now better.

With the washing machine, that’s not yet an optimal solution. There is only one washing machine for the entire place. There are no dryers. We’re still working on that too. We have often experienced this with newly opened places, where not everything is as it should be. But well, that’s how it is!

Here we see the disposal. This is also not quite optimal. The grates still need to be changed. New ones are already there, everything still needs to be rebuilt. This is of course a bit difficult when operations are ongoing, but we are happy that the place has opened

Because the demand for free places is high. Now, January and February, that’s the main time in Spain, when most of the campers are out and about. Then there is still a large space. There are individual mobile homes there. Large trailers and cars are also parked here. From what I’ve seen so far,

It doesn’t cost any extra. This free space is also often used by large motorhomes. Most of the places with electricity are occupied, but that should change soon. There should be more places with electricity. At least that’s what the receptionist explained to me. The campsite is surrounded by agricultural land.

I didn’t experience any noises or smells and didn’t notice them either. There is a road between the square and the sea. This road has little traffic. I would say not at all at night. So we didn’t hear anything from the street at all, at least not at night. There

Is hardly any shopping in the immediate area , i.e. no supermarket. So you have to have at least one, I would say eBike, because sometimes it’s quite easy to climb uphill to get to the next supermarket. We had previously stocked up well with everything you need every day,

But after a few days the supply slowly runs out. And so we made our way to the next place to do some shopping. I had already shown the supermarket when we went there. It is not 3 to 4 kilometers from the campsite. It is five kilometers away from the campsite.

There is fresh meat there. There you can even have your chops cut to the appropriate thickness . There is also a pharmacy in the small town. We had a really bad cold and so we went there and bought some medicine to ease the situation a bit. I now know that

The plot of land we are standing on is a separate plot. And we have a direct view of the sea. But the plot also costs €23 per day. Of course it’s nice to have a view of the sea and watch the sunrise while having breakfast in the morning .

There is a small beach restaurant almost directly opposite the campsite, right on the beach. You can eat something there if you want. You also have a beautiful view of the sea from there. Yes. There are other restaurants in the town. That’s not far away. Approximately one kilometer.

So it can also be reached on foot. Back to the square again . Gas is an important issue and has been solved properly. You can exchange your gas bottle here, either the Repsol bottle or there is also the option to exchange a Repsol bottle here. If I understood correctly,
