The WORST Travel Experience | Cairo, Egypt | Ep. 22 | World Trip
Thank you thought in Europe didn’t follow directions people are dumb you know everybody a little ignorant but you know you require to fasten your SE as soon as you have taken your Seat We A few hours later we made it outside of the airport it took about 5 hours to get out to be honest I don’t think either of us is actually really excited to be outside of of you know the airport but we’re in Cairo But M’s and I tell you M We made it to our room well we made it about 6 hours ago we had to go to sleep because the airport wanted to hold us up for about 4 hours over a drone um these people think it’s some type of spying device and the worst part is they don’t
Just confiscate it and tell you to pick it up later they make the biggest deal out of it and make you seem like you’re a terrorist They confiscated the Drone and then we waited for 2 hours to apparently be questioned by the police um when really it was a police officer
Who escorted us down there anyway in plane Clos which initially was because wasn’t even because of the Drone they didn’t even know I had a drone at that point yeah should we start from the beginning it was because they found they saw her passport let’s start okay
Finally got the Visa stood in line for the immigration the immigration guy was quick he just kind of St they don’t care they they giving out stamps they let you in no issue yeah but then as soon as we went through immigration there’s just like a group of like five men standing
There with regular clothes he’s like give me your passports and I give them to him and he gives them to another guy and I’m like um I don’t know we thought it was maybe because Charlie had been recording earlier with um the camera yeah I had been told to put up the GoPro
As soon as we got yes we’re like okay he’s still he’s holding our passports we put our luggage through mine didn’t beep or anything but then um Charlie is told he has to open his luggage on the other side so he’s like okay whatever okay that there’s literally nothing in there
But socks boxers shoes and clothes but the rude part is they just take all your out like like yeah they don’t care they’re just so anyways we closed up our suitcase we knew the Drone was going to be an issue so we knew we were going somewhere else but then once we’re
Walking with that same same police officer who’s holding our passports he tells us uh Colombians usually bring drugs so he’s like no drugs right and we’re like what the why the look at the camels right they’re bouncing they got a little step to them yeah it was
Still about 1:30 in the morning and we did not leave until what time 6 the sun was out yeah the sun was out we got there it it was morning time we got there in the middle of the night we had not slept since we woke up in
At 80 a.m. but that took 4 hours just to get a drone confiscated paperwork signed and then been told be told that we’re going to pick it up when we get out by the way everyone’s smoking cigarettes there’s a spill of wine or juice on the floor there is wrapping paper all over
The place I have just never seen an airport that dirty we’re going to try to stay out of trouble and hopefully that goes well because low key I got a little worried in the airport I got a little scared actually it made me not want to go out Luckily
Everything turned out fine they have my drone they gave me an official document receipt a receipt and they said on way out show up 2 hours early and they’ll give me my drone back but with that time I think we’re going to show up with like
4 hours because not trying to miss a flight out of this country exactly but our hotel’s nice I mean if we show you guys what we’re looking at right now it’s that’s why y’all just see me like looking at the camera just looking out the view is amazing So close it cuz it’s hot but yeah and the room isn’t even expensive it’s only $50 a night it’s worth it I mean it’s not amazingly beautiful but for Egypt it’s good the restroom is also really nice the restroom is actually the best part in my
Opinion but yeah I mean hot water nice sink nice toilet what they really need to do is invest in a new bed That’s all folks time to go get something to eat cuz we haven’t eaten since we left Grease He and this is the three pamita before everything is come I have my cacha my car Bo new car you want to go on Sakara mil in Theo Museum downtown Egyptian museum going back going back 250 250 so yeah um we are currently on our balcony I think it’s a graduation going
On down there I saw a bunch of people with gowns and stuff but yeah we up here sipping some Egyptian whiskey it’s called whiskey style Highlands we met some dude named Islam I kid you not that’s his name we were in the streets acting like um we we don’t
Speak English we was just speaking Spanish the whole time but he actually you know could speak could get by speaking a little bit of Spanish I have my my C Bo C and um yeah he went and picked us up a bottle of whiskey and a liter of Coke
But yeah man we are right in front of the pyramids and it’s funnier because as soon as their show started the lights on the whole block went out as you can see our apartment is dark you see me with the light holding a light we got an
Emergency light on in our room right now everything’s off luckily we got our own Wi-Fi shout out to Sky shout out to Skyrim if you traveling you need Global Internet bu skyro we got our whiskey we got some Coca-Cola and then we got front row seats to the pyramids into somebody’s
Graduation which sounds pretty lit to be Honest good morning guys we are on the rooftop of our hotel eating our free breakfast that’s in phaf for fried egg don’t know what that is but Baba Bean it looks like salami and cheese mhm these beans here are Fire good old Egyptian breakfast so we are walking to the pyramids it was 400 uh lb for both of us two tickets just for entry and then if you want to go inside the great per we chose to go inside the Great Pyramid and it’s a separate fee to
Go into the other two pyramids but I think we’re only going to do one cuz you do all three and it gets pretty pricey quite a bit of a walk we came early in the morning though so sun isn’t so harsh the sun is behind us on the East B Yep He a
We never expected this much trouble in Egypt. As soon as we arrived, you could just feel the tension. Getting the visa was its own issue, they dont accept EGP, only EUR or USD. Not so bad if you have it, but it was really difficult for us to get. Once we got through that, all hell broke loose …
First, the Colombian passport; then Charlye’s race; and lastly, the drone.
It took 5 hours to leave the Cairo airport. Fortunately /Unfortunately we had a driver waiting outside for those 5 hours until we were allowed into the country.
Watch to see how the rest of our day went.

That part was funny when the lv4. Vendor comes out 😂
If u only knew what is coming ur way.
I can only say, be prepared, u better be prepared.
My advice is, see what u wanna see and leave before ur holiday turns in a living hell.
Pyramids looked beautiful but wouldn’t want to go there due to the service. To think I work with Afifi and Mohamed here at Sesco Cement.
Good for you, if you are American, you aren't welcome at all here in the east from Dakar Senegal to Jakarta Indonesia to the north turkey and Balkan region ect…, in any place in Africa or Asia
-Good, yeah we are the worst people in the world, especially if we find you an American, you are American, you aren't welcome here at all in the east, especially right now, good Job brother Egyptians 👍, yeah, don't come to us even like a tourist, if you are American
Your life in danger in any place in the east, if we find you American republican or British person from your right party, right now in the east, for the quarter of the world population in any place in Africa and asia, we will take the revenge for our brothers Palestinians, from every zionist in this earth, doesn't Christian protestant zionist or jew zionist in any place in this earth, like Muslim community
We have big accountable with you like west world lead by the British from the Balfour declaration to right now
If you are American republican or a British person from your right party, don't come to east even like a tourist especially right now
North African Tunisian here speaks with you from Tunisia
Which hotel did u booked? Ill be there after 3days
Bro so sorry to hear what happened to you guys in the airport but a friendly advice in Egypt, if you want to have a chilled out experience u guys need to push it up a notch with your spendings. If you want a nice hotel next to the pyramids u guys go check Marriot Mena house or go spend a day or two at any of the well known hotels near the Nile river. You also have a place where u guys could brunch with an amazing view of the pyramids called khufu. Go check Sas lounge on the nile river amazing food and drinks. Cheers bro hope u enjoy ur time there. Google these places and uber them
Didn't you research anything before you came here??? I was out in 30 min???? Try researching before you travel next time. It's a night show every night.you guys make it hard for yourselves.
Beautiful pyramids, would love to visit one day.
Drones are banned in most if not all Middle Eastern countries My advice google "Can I take a drone to whatever country you going to" Just did it and it took 5 seconds Problem solved
here are some advice , lose the attitude to begin with . bad attitude will make it worse and will bring you bad karma .
second , your issues was your mistakes so don't blame it on a country , there is a list of forbidden things available online that even include binoculars . so don't blame a country on your ignorance .
third get a different hotel in another place .
I suggest " Zamalek, Downtown "
or dokki .
get something closer to more civilized area .
its a 110 million population country .
the area you stayed in which does have a good view to the pyramids but thats it ,it comes with huge cost of almost slum like houses because it is a slums area . and alot of scammers and annoying sales people that live and strive on tourism.
the pyramid is a day trip and thats it . not to live there .
fourth I don't know if you are still there or not , but If you are still there I can write you list of things and places to see and dine in .
finally . just like there are slums there are hotels that costs 20k USD per night .
if you have any spare time at night before you sleep , watch other youtubers who visited there and try to quickly put together a plan for your trip .
I'm going to guess that Carolina is an Aquarius and Charyle is an Aries.
You're staying in what I called "the magic neighborhood". Great place!
I guess you guess ought to stay home. The attitude was toxic right from the starrt. I dont know what countries .you have travelked to before, but there are more countires than none who require at least a disclosure of bringung un dromes
In most asian, middle eastern and african countries, drones are not allowed there is big security risk and you have to get special permission for that
What’s the name of the hotel you stayed at?
I loved Egypt, I really didn't like Egyptians. I spent a week there seeing the sights, which was amazing, but my interactions with almost all of the locals was massively disappointing. Their favourite word was Baksheesh (tip). Almost every one of the locals I interacted with in any form, their last words were always "baksheesh". Really put a dampener on my visit.
In most places, you need a license to fly a drone. It is a security risk as anyone can potentially film military sites from above. There is a war next door in Gaza. It is also a developing country w 123m population, most of them. In poverty, so are you surprised that people are trying to sell things to try make a living and to feed themselves. Do proper research before traveling to any country and read up about local customs and traditions, and the “do’s and dont’s”.
Egypt has some beautiful places but the people can be difficult to communicate with especially the annoying bakshish – give me money.
Luxury i m booking my flight right now, can't wait
Given that the U.S. and many European countries(especially U.K./Germany/France) are actively supporting the Genocidal Fascist State of Israel in its ethnic 'cleansing'/murder of 000's of Palestinians it is not surprising that tourists from these countries are going to be given a rough ride in a country where the overwhelming majority of the population vehemently support their Palestinian brothers, despite what their corrupt Government may or may not be doing. Please try to be less naive !
This view of the Pyramids we had every day (in the late 1990s) from the rooftop of our own house on the road that leads to the "village"
of Kerdasa.
so you mean carryng gopro multiple pc ect is an issue?
As an Egyptian im extremely sorry for ur experience . The security is a bit harsh and its for safety reasons . We have been suffering cuz of terrorists and it only been few years since we didnt have any terrorist attack so the police is being more precise with in checking so we wont have any other attacks in the next years hopefully
Poor tourists are the worst 😂
MISRABLE country.
Welcome to Sissi Egypt . Drones are prohibited in Arab dictators countries .
I feel u guys, from what I saw from other vloggers too that Egypt is not a place for a peacefull visit,so many scummers and worst authorities…the only thing people are still going to Egypt is only for the Pyramids ,I think.
unfortunately the reality is that drones can be modified and used for various terror attacks or for military use just like we see in the war in Ukraine today and in the war in Israel also.
Next time just use Google and spare us the clickbait title..
5:36. World's best hotel view! Also see the Best Food Review YT channel: they suffered a similar fate entering Egypt, just for trying to show the local cuisine. ¿Por qué? !Sabra Juaco!
.
99.999999999% of tourists are conceited.
You should understand and respect the country laws you travel to and if you can't then don't come back
you had a drone? ههههه
you should research at least a little bit before you go to a country.
Great video. Loved Egypt but the haggling is the worst I've dealt with while traveling. Still gonna go back tho 😅😅😅.
