Highlights from our time in Tokyo, Japan! We were only here for 3 nights on the way to Hawaii, but fell in love with the city. We stayed at the Rihga Royal Hotel, a great place, lovely accommodation and they provided a free bus to the nearest underground station (Takadanobaba). You can hire an English speaking guide for free online – you just need to pay for their travel, lunch and admission into any places you choose to visit, that have admission fees. Definitely recommend this service, our guide was so friendly and helpful, even explaining how to use the underground train system! During our stay, we visited the hotel bar featured in the movie “Lost In Translation”, which has spectacular views and was just like stepping into the movie. The hotel is the Park Hyatt if you fancy a trip there! We also spotted a Star Wars plane on arrival into Tokyo – the “one of a kind” BB-8 plane!
