What To See At The Camping Caravan And Motorhome Show 2024?

Right so uh just a quick video really heads up for the NEC Caravan camping and motor home show did I get it right brilliant yeah yeah we’ll tell you a little bit about the show um and what we’re going to be looking at whilst we’re at the show

Right so the show’s on from Tuesday the 13th of February to Sunday the 18th of February and it’s at the NEC Birmingham it’s in Falls 1: 5 and it starts at 10:00 in the morning and goes on till 6:00 p.m. there is a website you can check out and that’s CCM show.co

Do.uk costs it cost 12250 per person if you book it before 2359 on the 12th of the 2nd uh children under 16 Go free uh Max two per adult there or1 1550 after the 12th of the second subject to availability assume they think it’ll be sold out it’s pre-booked tickets only

And there is a125 handling charge for doing it online and if you’re a member of the camping caravaning club or Moto or Caravan and Moto Club you should check the website for further discount the parking free it’s included in the ticket there are some large car Parks I

Would suggest you get there early unfortunately it’s assistance dogs only there are over 400 exhibitors there and you can search on the website some notable stands uh we’ve got maai pet suppliers who will be supporting uh throughout the show there in Hall 3 on stand 3027 there’s a dedicated camper van Hall

In Hall 5 and in hall four you can find a dedicated tent and camping Hall there’ll be mot homes and Caravans from all leading manufacturers there are some awnings there as well uh all set up and ready to walk into something we be interested in having a look at there are

Some stands for campsites for Holiday Parks uh days out destinations and you can try out um some motor homes and camper vans or Towing youve got free motor home and camper van maneuvering courses you’ve got a free 20 minute try it Caravan Towing lesson aen did that a couple of years ago didn’t

You that’s right uh you’ve got the Leisure vehicle advice Center which apparently is bigger for 2024 and that’s this is a website and it offers free impartial expert advice help and information on all aspects of camper van Caravan and motor home ownership and there’s a website I’ll put

In here there is a YouTube video on it as well and we’ve done our own list haven’t we that’s right yeah and I’ve had a look at this it’s a really interesting website because you can do um lots of searches and you can have a really elaborate search of whether you want

A fixed bed whether you want double bed single beds all this sort of thing okay and you can also do a comparison so when you find the motor homes that you’re interested in you can do a comparison and I’ve done one with four vans that we

Were looking at that were on a short list so the website’s also got a free show guide and floor plan uh and you can download the floor pan and you can carry it around with it like we’re going to be doing yeah it’s um you can print it but

Uh it’s still a bit difficult to uh read unless you need magnifying glass you can look at it on your phone or obviously if you’ve got the PDF before you go yeah you can look at it on there and make a note of which Halls people are in but it

Is quite useful even in in this size just to see that all the H sort of linked together because the other show sometimes they’re in all 18 up there aren’t they all one down there so they all seem to sort of Link through I think these in the February show you’re nearer

The railway station aren’t you yeah yeah so so if you’re coming in by by rail you can uh you can walk fairly easily from the station uh the other shows are right at the other end of theway station so that’s right yeah it’s good for that but

Yeah if you’re coming by car like I say there large car Parks uh is there anything else to add well the only other thing is um to mention there’s obviously no overnight parking at the NEC no there isn’t the usual um Caravan and Moto home club uh temporary site that’s not on

This February um but there is a list of camp sites in the area and we’ll just I’ve taken this from the website and just show you those okay but they will do get booked up yeah yeah I mean judging from feedback about the uh the popup uh campsite it was incredibly

Expensive and Incredibly muddy yeah I don’t know whether they plan to have it in February but it’s not there no but if you can find a campsite nearby like I say you can come you can come to the show for the day and just park your mot

Home it’s dedicated Moto home parking so that’s all good and we’ve done that before even when we’ve been staying at Summers wood just to bring the mot home in because it does mean you can go in and out as you like then that’s right

Yeah and go back to the B for lunch and all that sort of thing yeah yeah now we we’ve um we’ve sort of made our mind out what mot home we’re getting yes um we will do be doing a video on Sunday and we’ll let you know which one it’s going to be

So that said we’re not really going to be looking for ourselves for motor homes so and the other thing is a lot of the new ones were at the October show so we made a point of at the October show wasn’t it looking what was new and I

Think you did about five videos yeah so what we’re thinking is um are there any vans you would like us to look at yeah and we need to compile a list obviously so we know which Halls they’re in and we need to know um the m I Bailey yeah what type of

Moto E DMO yeah and then the the mot the the version manufactur the the the version and the number yeah so 694 or something like that and if you can check the website before you ask us that would be good because there’s no point us looking for a motome that’s not there

That’s right that’s right yeah so then I can compile a list I can say which Hall they’re in and then we can quickly go and have a look at it and give you a mention as well yeah that’s right we’re going to take about the first 25 I think

And see how we get on with that because once we get to about 25 we’ve probably filmed enough for most people that’s right so yeah did go mad one year and filmed 53 No 53 yeah very tiring and uh and by the time we got to the seventh
