Spe hello B there’s like this kind of uh like brutalist almost building just right across from me and it looks really cool and the windows are orange these are the windows and they’re like super reflective and it’s just like a really cool Building A yesterday I went to the perfume store it’s this really old perfumery it started in 1954 and it’s this guy this old Serbian guy who mixes everything himself and it’s like really high highly comes really highly recommended so I went there today um and I got my perfume

I went yesterday and today yesterday I went and he sprayed four um different scents on my wrists and he gave me this card with the scents that I picked um so like you know what I mean those are my arms and I told him he’s like what do

You want and I was like something woodsy Cedar tobacco um Pine I think I said so I think he gave me like those four and so that was yesterday and then he was like you don’t have to buy one right now you can like wait so I was

Like okay so I left the store yesterday and like smelled my wrists for the next like 6 hours and then I decided this one on my outer right wrist was my favorite so I went back today and I was like moja mo oo I would like this one and so he gave me

Perfume and I’m going to open it also this was on the um the box that he gave me I saved it to put in my scrapbook oh I also wanted to save this paper for my scrapbook so I can my scrapbook oh my gosh it’s doing so good it’s like so

Cute okay this is her M she’s so pretty and there’s all the paper this will be going in my scrapbook and I also wanted to like spray it on my wrists oh my God also I got two new tattoos in the past like week sorry I

Another bottle okay I’m going spray it when I left the store today he sprayed a bunch on my chest um but like it always smells I think stronger when it’s on your wrists so yesterday he sprayed like four different scents on my wrists I like went up to smell them and

He was like no no no no and I was like what I was like okay the guy was also just speaking in Serbian to me and I was like really didn’t understand anything we we got through it the other people in the shop they were like he’s telling you not to

Smell it yet wait 2 minutes and I was like okay okay cool so I waited and then it was still very hard because perfume changes its scent on your skin like once you’ve worn it for a few hours it’s going to smell a little bit differently so that’s like what’s really cool about

Perfume now we’re going to scrapb this [ __ ] so I got this really cool like um it’s called glue tape and it’s like double stick tape but you just like you just like drag it across the paper and it’s it’s amazing it’s like the most amazing thing I literally walked past this little bench and it started playing Music oh mys there’s all these streets in the sky there’s that one right and there one over there like that what do we think pretty much done today is my last day in belgrad well actually I’m leaving belgrad today so I have a 7-hour bus ride to Saro it’s actually 7 hours

Before 45 minutes um so pretty much I’m going to be spending the entire day on the bus which I think will be kind of nice um but I just hope I have enough food and I hope I don’t get car sick but I think it’ll be fun to like drive

Through the countryside and just like see what’s happening there I’m almost finished packing I just need to throw a few more things in throw my trash away do the dishes and and then um I can go find the bus and then I think I want to

Get some snacks before cuz I know I’m going to get hungry I know myself I’m going to be wanting snacks so I’m going to go like find a bunch of snacks yeah I don’t know I might go to a bakery I don’t know how many stops we’re going to

Make I know we’re going to make a border stop but beyond that I don’t really know so yeah hope all goes well um I’m sure it will there’s no reason why it wouldn’t so yeah it’s been a fun time here I like B I would definitely come back definitely definitely definitely I

Like it a lot and I feel like I didn’t even I feel like there’s so many other things to do in Serbia that I didn’t do 10 days really is not much time and so I would definitely come back and like there’s so many beautiful nature spots

In the country that I didn’t really go to I mostly stayed in the city which I I love the city I’m excited for the next stop sorry I think it’ll be fun okay Bye

Sooooo I ventured east and spent 10 days in Belgrade, Serbia back in May 2023. Buying perfume was not my main mission, but I did spend 2 days on the task, so I guess it was a vital piece of the trip.

I really did like Belgrade and there was so much to do! I got a new tattoo, tried so much Serbian food, and met many many lovely Serbians. The hospitality was so good (people were giving me free food left and right) and it’s a gorgeous city full of history and intrigue. I stayed in a room downtown and the views and sunsets were so gorg.
