The Longest Ski Run in Colorado – Aspen Snowmass – Family Ski Trip

We’re Kevin and Taylor a travel couple turn travel family who is taking their van to Mexico but before crossing the border we’re squeezing in a family ski trip to Aspen snowman to make sure we get winter out of our system we’re trying to accomplish four goals before

The end of the trip to get my dad on skis for the first time in 15 years ski the longest run in Colorado have Taylor and my sister ski down a black diamond and lastly just have fun Wooh Blue skies look like a beautiful day all right we are getting ready I get a new jacket could ready to go I am officially getting ready to get back on the mountain after almost 2 years of not snowboarding because obviously last year I was pregnant and I am super stoked

Because I’m going to be testing out this new helmet that I got from outdoor Masters and not only is it keep cute but now that I have Wyatt it makes me feel more secure about being on the mountain this helmet even comes equipped with myips technology which stands for multi-directional impact protection

System which helps protect our brains from trauma and concussions while out on the mountain it also has this nice little doohickey right here that helps keep my goggles in place so they don’t fall off I got two helmets from outdoor Master as well this one is the elk

That was a little hard a little harder than expected that was not the sheer Bliss that I remember but now we know to look at the trail map and look for OG means groomed which we didn’t know that ahead of time so for those who want to stay on

Groomers you got to look at the trail map and make sure you’re aware of what trails are groomed or not next stop for the night is to the main town of Aspen we’ll be able to see the other three mountains as we drive into town too which is going to be

Cool but want to go explore the town see the shops the restaurants maybe grab a little Drink I got de With one of the coolest things ASP been is the mountain is literally right on top of the town here you can see the mountain the slopes behind me you have all the stores all the shops it’s just a really cool Town little expensive though what’s the price on their bad boys only

Crazy what way to do it try to hide that so for the powder day I am going to swap out the lenses on the Falcon 4 the clear lenses here it’s kind of got like a yellow tint but this is going to make it much easier to see in this low light powder

The long shot which is the longest run here in the United States I believe I could be wrong but I’m almost 95% positive it might just be Colorado I don’t know but it’s closed today we wanted to do that today tackle the longest run in Colorado that would have

Over five miles yeah that’s why I think we should just do it first while we’re still have all this energy a little bit energ where long shot is said to be the longest continuous ski run in Colorado 5.3 miles oh and it’s a 10minute steep hike up from the top of the lift

I forgot about the hike yay three miles this is going be the longest one of our life 35 minutes to get down we should time it we should time it for sure how long will it take us to do 5.3 miles of boarding why can’t you play hide and seek with a mountain

Afternoon which would be really fun but third day in a row on the slope so everyone’s feeling a little sore might be a a little light day today we got another Bluebird day today so I’m going to be swapping the clear lenses or not clear the yellow tinted lenses for the Zeiss colored
