Our tour through alzas takes us to the small campsite on the outskirts of colar this is very convenient as the city center can be reached quickly and easily by bus or Bike comar is a picturesque town with a rich history and diverse Culture I’m fascinated by the fact that colar is beautiful no matter what the weather is like no matter what time of year I’m there under Lyon is the central hub for me I start my tour of the city with you in front of my favorite restaurant the

Fefl the Christmas markets in alsas are famous and colar is also a great place to stroll between the Stalls at Christmas time or have fun with a family on the Mars Field it’s only a ston spro from the Mars field to Little Venice and even in winter this district is simply Magical across the river LA to the right are the market Halls I’m a fan of these places in France because it’s like a weekly Market with a few spots where you can always get a hot Coffee in kar’s Old Town you walk through over 500 years of architectural history and golden plaques with a Statue of Liberty are embedded in the cobblestones of the Alleyways what lies behind them can be found in the rout as Marchand this is the birthplace of Frederick Aus bartholdi the French

Sculptor created the Statue of Liberty which has stood in front of New York City since 1886 I visit the m bartholdi and I am totally intrigued If you are interested in art architecture or history there are other museums that I visited and really like there’s the Museum of Natural History and ethnography which focuses on fauna and Flora from the region and the world Then there’s the ENT Lindon Museum which with its exhibits takes much more time than I have it is partly housed in the former Dominican Convent and two other buildings that are cleverly linked together this museum is well worth a visit and exciting but it takes Time And finally I don’t want to forget the chocolate Museum which not only presents breathtaking sculptures made of chocolate but also provides information about the production and origin of Coco that’s an exciting fun for the whole Family Oh I now reached the end of my walk through Kar and there is still a lot more to see than I have shown you it’s time for me to say goodbye and travel on to my next destination and alas to which I would like to invite you Along

We start our tour through the old town of Colmar at the Unterlinden Museum, through the Rue de Tête past the Maison des Têtes, decorated with over 100 heads, to the Dominican Church (Église des Dominicains).

A stroll through the adjoining Little Venice (Petite Venise) district is well worthwhile. Picturesque half-timbered houses adorned with flowers line the banks of the Lauch river.
