From 2017-2018, I got the opportunity to participate in the JET programme as an ALT placed in Toyama Prefecture. This is my video submission for #JETVideoContest2024.
During my time, I was very fortunate to be able to visit many parts of Japan and really taking in the culture, the food, and meeting amazing people along the way. My one year in Japan truly felt like many once-in-a-lifetime chances, 一期一会, that I couldn’t pass up! It is still the most exciting and challenging year of my life so far that I still talk about today.
