Bonjour -HI. My name is Ruby Roy I am an experiences member of the travel, tourism, events, training and speaking industries. I am a native English speaking Montreal who of course speakes French and can communicate in a number of other languages.
A licensed Montreal Professional Guide and Expert since 1992 and a professional I love passionately because I enjoy giving guests the most memorable experiences regardless how long they spend in Montreal or with me.
Unlike any other guide in Montreal my professional background , personal, academic and travel background is unique and diverse.
Work: I have workd at the Palais de congrès de Montreal ( convention centre), at the Fairmont Queen Elizabeth hotel as front desk and concierge, Trudeau International Airport, motorcoach transporation companies, Cadillac Fariveiw. I have and continue to work for the various destination management companies in Canada and other industry partners on a free lance on contract basis. Business, corporate, incentive, events and meeting as well as luxury and diplomatic are what I really specialise and enjoy to this day. I continue to support during site inspections, creating programmes, tours, talks and experiences for all of the member of our industry and will continue to do so. I worked as Media Relations Manager, Business Meeting Co ordinator, in Communication, leisure travel , trade shows and gave traing for Tourism Montreal from 1992 to 2017.
My private clients are from around the globe including Europe, Asia, the Middle East, the Americas. Most of the private free lance contracts have come to me by word of mouth.
Are you a solo traveller, a woman travellers that prefers to be with a local to explore?
Couples, friends, groups , famalies , tour operators, music groups, art societies I am always happy to great guests solo or large groups. Nothing is daunting.
Would you like to walk, taking public transit and walk, having a driving tour I can arrange what ever you feel most comfortable with.
Helicopter, exotic cars, sedans, sprinters or coaches basically if it moves I can tour in it.

I have been giving on line training and lectures since 2011, in 2020 when most were scrambling to get this going I simply upgraded quality to ensure my guests have an exceptional experience even on line. I have been a public speaker and working with film crews infront of the camera since 1992, as well as a back ground in photography. One line presentations are also private. Walkin tours are still available for no more then 4 people at at time
Masks outdoors must be worn by guests
I will be wearing a visor and have a audio system should it be difficult to hear
I also carry a swimming noodle ( to make you laugh) but to ensure 2 meter distance is respected.
