Japan 6th Adventure Day 6 March 20, 2020. We begin our day 6 around Asakusa looking for some food. We walk around Senso-ji Temple looking for a quick breakfast snack at the food booths in the area. We then doing a short walk around Senso-ji Temple and walk towards the Sumida River in search of Imado Shrine is a shrine to pray for love and pregnancy. Cheryl wanted to photograph the maneki-neko at the shrine. We then head to the Asakusa station but, see a fish pet store and stop by to look. We eventually make it to the Asakusa station buy some strawberry mochi and catch our train to the Shibuya station which has been renovated. We were going to catch another train to Harajuku but, decide to stay in Shibuya and get brunch at the Pepper Parlor in Tokyu Plaza. We order our food from Pepper (a robot) and sit to eat yummy specialized waffles. We then go back to Shibuya station and catch the train to Harajuku station. We walk to Takeshita-Dori Street and are surprised to see that there is still a crowd (even though it’s less) considering there is this Covid-19 issue. We do some shopping and walk to another shopping area and check out Kiddyland. We catch a train at the Meiji-jingumae Harajuku Station to our last destination the Hibiya Park to look for more sakura (cherry blossoms). We rest of a bit in the park until it gets cold so we head back to the train station to go back to Asakusa which is where we end this episode. Enjoy!
