2023 French Elite championships in ress France I’m G to pronounce it ress time of 1 minute and 46.4 four seconds in the final on Monday 12 June 2023 with his time he achieved a personal best time uh in in second place I don’t know what
I’m reading from I might have to read do this one no okay you no the point no personal best time this that was I don’t even okay I I don’t think that’s a personal best time they had yanic anelle who was a really good 200 meter freestyle it’s not French national
Record it was not and this is not to be confused with his 200 meter breast stroke at that same competition where he did set a French national record I think I I combined two things things but I chose this one instead of the 200 meter breast joke you wouldn’t
Be doing a French national record and getting SE well unless somebody else right other than somebody of France W okay I provide my take perspective on his performance and contextualize it in terms of improving one’s times in a particular event in one’s home country so Leon Jor likes to have the belly
Stroked like Leon senior does he’s that I was okay so yes improving one’s times in one hes one’s home country so he chose to improve his 200 meter freestyle this is it’s still a weird time I think like reputation wise there’s a lot of people like he’s so fast in some things and
Then there’s like some stuff where he’s like this is still a good time you know a 14644 it’s just you know like and it was good for him improving on it and like I cuz I was writing and Publishing about this um um particular competition and stuff and I was like
He’s doing good and he’s dropping time um but it’s still like he improved a lot throughout the year when living not too far that way um in Arizona and I live in Washington state Pack 12 swimming and Diving championships kind of thing or here and he came here that kind of thing
Um like as an in King County Washington State United States America back in 2020 and so um it was cool to have seen him in person and written and published about him and then get to write and publish him about him for this as well um when he’s improving and I I I
Personally like to see Improvement in one’s own home country uh I think some people genuinely just don’t care as long as people are improving their times I I am a little pickier um that’s why I’m not number one right um kind of thing uh with with any
Of my times in any of my sports so um but uh hey you know maybe my picky will someday take me there but yeah so I guess that kind of can be extrapolated to my running SL Road running is I think it’s important to be able to perform
Well in one’s own home country I it kind of it sets a good tone personally I I think that kind of thing matters um I view it as like show showing one’s country that one cares about it kind of thing okay okay yeah so that’s my take on the Leon
