4/18 3 Länder Kajaktour auf der Mosel. Von Épinal Frankreich nach Koblenz Deutschland.

Good morning, it’s Thursday. The 4th day of the trip. The wind subsided during the night. The beaver was in front of the tent a few times. Was dissatisfied when he saw it. A bit of swimming back and forth and that was it.

Now I have to see if I can find something to buy. Supplies are gradually dwindling. It’s 8:15 a.m. It’s starting. A touring cyclist made himself comfortable there. I’m going to spray it a little now. Wish you a good morning. The next ramp as you hear it. Damn .

Not far then we go again. It doesn’t work here again, does it? With a bit of luck? Yes, exactly . Finally a common ramp. This is already the 2 here, some people have . Walls built in. They direct the water. It’s awesome that there’s a fence with an upper rope across it.

It’s not marked so you can see it. Really crude. There frone where the demolition point is. There’s an electric fence going across again. At least this time it is relatively high. I thought the river would go to the right. But no . The river goes to the left. The Moselle. Old waters

Haven’t had it for a long time. This is most likely the entrance to a beaver castle. Half a building. Always despairing. You lie on. With jerking. Is that okay? It is enough . Now I have to be careful. Behind the bridge the terrain drops off quite a bit. No, okay.

There is a break there. Clean, I say. Now I’m going to go ashore first. Let me take a look at that first. I paddle back and go around the canal. I think you can even paddle it, back to the starting point. Where the derivation is.

I won’t have to pull myself up a bit against the current. I can not do it . Then around the outside of the weir. Good shopping at the bakery. There was really only baked goods. Never mind. I also had 3 water bottles refilled. I then fill up the rest at the campsite.

Now pull up the ramp. Then it goes into the transfer canal over there. I couldn’t drive down the ramp anyway. This is the junction in question. On the left the river and here the junction. The bit of driving isn’t worth it. You have to get out again. What it looks like.

Can I now paddle to the bridge? Let’s see . That was it again with driving. And behind the bridge it looked very flat. Before now too. It would probably have been better to make the effort to just go under the bridge. Oh well . Now I’m here .

One route now let’s see how far we can get. There is a campsite here. So let’s go fill this up again. The redirection would be over. On the right the Moselle, on the left the diversion canal. You might think it’s a ship’s tailcoat. Too big. There is an airboat driver.

A Grabner a red? Maybe a black one that has faded. Must be ancient. Yellow inside. The red is at least as faded as mine. There seemed to be a garden upstairs. I won’t bother you. Now it’s getting psychological. There is a natural stone weir that isn’t all that powerful. What it looked like.

You can cheat your way through there. That worked, the boat wasn’t too wide. It barely fit between the two stones. Sanded well. But it worked. That’s the evidence . Apparently you survive the swim in the Moselle. You have to be careful. It smokes suspiciously. Very tight. A bunch of trees

We’d rather go around that on the left. Always these flat brine ramps. Paddler Vorous. I have no idea what kind of boat that is. This is probably a local. He knows where it’s going. 1. Haugans on the tour. We have a tough angler there. Without any protective equipment. Something completely new, a weir.

I see a big ramp there in the bay. I’ll go there. The other paddler is also aiming for it. The other paddler is apparently not a local after all. Doesn’t know either. Aimed exactly at the ramp. Now drove past. Into the backwater. Hoping it’s a redirect channel. Now he’s coming back again. Ominous.

If I understood him correctly. In back there. There is then a short workaround. Now somehow get the boat out of here. I’ll find something there. I give up . That’s the end, I’m getting a helicopter. Who gets me here. That’s too much of a workaround. No thanks. Nonsense, I’ll do it now.

On the car. Behind there. Everyone’s still on the boat. Then comes the obstacles. Then they build a stone barrier there. To get down here. This is bottomless. I haven’t even walked that path yet. Let’s see where I can get out of here. OK. Looks good. The question is what the outcome is here.

That works . I think I’ll go ahead and cancel the helicopter. Here over the Seine is also bad. I’ll take the route. Now I would bring a bodybuilder. Zack and over it. Shortly before 7 p.m. There should be something to be found on the 2nd level . So the monster bypass was done.

I set up my tent up there. They come over there. They didn’t hear the herd’s signal to leave. That’s probably not planned. That they go to the other side of the river. At the low tide. It’s good that I left the cows’ favorite place. That would have been too many cow dung.

Two in the awning and one behind me. At least no cops. Very curious, we always sniff the tent and then jump back. Quite funny. The kohe were only driven into the stable for a short time – they are back. Another day done. Today it went quite well. A weir win demolition bypassed.

So here I am now. Got a visit from 2 cows. They previously hiked through the Moselle. They missed the departure signal.

An diesem Tag habe Ich etwa 23,7 Km zurückgelegt .
