In life,if you want to survive,you have to keep your dreams alive and all of us,if we really search inside of ourselves,we have a picture,a postcard somewhere hanging on the wall,with a destination that if everything goes perfect,we going to go!Mine was always Hawaii,with these palm trees by the side of white sand,endless beaches,without knowing quite well where this place stands.I was born,in 1975,on the other side of the planet,in a small place,called Greece,a place that for those who knows,if you go,you will always remember and for others known from the great history.The jewel of Greece as a tourist in the summer?The Greek islands!And that’s where my youth starts,in a small island called Santorini.When you are young,you feel so trapped,the island of Santorini,is so small and the only thing that passes through your mind is how to escape,till you escape!Then you going to realize in what a unique environment you live!Santorini is a place that deserves to be seen once in a lifetime.The landscapes of this Greek island,is something that if you face it once,you will remember!A trip in the history of the planet,having the Greek summer on your side,something you will not forget easily..I was always impressed,spending the most of my life in this small jewel,called Santorini,from the many different cultures that you could meet in the alleys,a cultural crossroad,enjoying this unique destination called Santorini,always so hospitable that you feel like home,immediately,even nowadays that Santorini has become so strong touristic destination,with the cruise ships standing on the line ready to disembark thousands of visitors,having a few hours to explore the island,facing always the difficulties that a volcano hides..And the island-volcano changes so rapidly!Everything is a matter of demand and offer and Santorini in the middle trying to preserve its character.The idea of making this channel,to save in time pictures of the volcano that soon will be changing,either from nature or humans..Let’s have something to show in the next generations,as I grew up,with old black&white photos of Santorini,passing the heritage,as always Greeks do! @destinationsantorini #santorinifromalocal #alexboatsantorini
