Sculpture hi guys if you’re new here my name is James make sure to leave a subscribe on my channel for all the best travel tips in Europe great travel advice and also tips as well which I share with you lately we’ve been exploring amazing destinations to visit
In Nord vest F in Germany and this is the latest of them so really exciting hidden location which I didn’t know about until I really died down into researching what there is to see and do in Nord V fan and this is not a typical tourist destination as you can see there
Is no one here today and it is a very quiet midweek day we now have some lovely nice and still weather it was quite gray and windy earlier but luckily it has cleared up so I can Vlog for you guys today so what is the inder man and
Where am I well I’m in indan which is located about 30 minutes away from akun in Germany which is near to the border with the Netherlands so it is not too difficult to get to Via car there is a park plot here direct at the sculpture
At the giant robot sculpture but you can also take the train to langaa and then you can jump on a bus which will take you to the ender man here you do need to be aware the buses do only run Monday to Friday so please be aware of that before
You make the journey and realize that you cannot get here you are not finding any taxi services in the area so let’s jump on to what is the Enderman and what else can you see and do here in inden well guys the Inderman is the main attraction here in indan and it is
Really impressive it is a giant robot sculpture made of over 20,000 tons of steel it’s 36 M high and you can CL all the way to the top so we’re going to be doing exactly that together today I’m so excited to climb up with you I know
We’ve been climbing a lot of things lately the Cologne Cathedral make sure to check that out here if you haven’t yet and we’ve also climbed up a tower in duburg together which was so much fun and today we’re going to be climbing a giant robot sculpture so that is just
Absolutely crazy but it is winter time here at the IND man but that in the summer season you will also be able to enjoy a mini golf course here as well as a restaurant so it is a bit of a free time activity and Leisure Center right
Guys let’s get down to business let’s climb the inand tower together and let’s have some fun and go and check out the views at the top I have now reached the top of the Enderman and in total I’ve reached a height of 36 m above sea level which
Isn’t the highest sculpture I’ve climbed lately but it’s still a considerable height and behind me in the distance you can see a view at the moment it is currently a construction site but they are building a huge Lake here which is going to be bigger than a lot of other
Lakes in the region and will basically be an area for tourism free time activities Etc so at the moment in that direction you do not have the best view because you can just see onto this big sort of uh excavation site but in the other direction you have a really nice
View onto Hills uh wind turbines and then on the other side you have a view onto a power station as well given it was so gray this morning it’s really nice that the sun is now shining and it’s just a beautiful day with blue skies it’s a little bit windy here at
The Ender but it is really nice conditions for climbing you have to be aware you cannot climb in Stormy Weather as the tower does get shut because obviously it’s made of of Steel so if there are lightning strikes Etc please do not climb the tower and on my left
Over here you might be able to see this uh telescope and in this telescope you can use this to see into the distance behind me you will be able to see over onto some Fields with some wind T lines as well it’s really beautiful views from
Up here at 36 M so it’s pretty cold now we’ve climbed up the giant 36 M High robot together we’ve come all the way back down and I’ve actually been waiting around here for about an hour an hour and a half because I wanted to show you guys another special thing about the
Inder ban it’s not only that you can climb this 36 meter high giant robot you can also watch these amazing light projections and illuminations which come on every night as soon as it gets dark the climbing itself at the tower closes at 5:00 p.m. it’s open from 10:00 a.m.
To 5:00 p.m. every day at the moment during the winter and the projections come on once the sun has gone down so it’s about an hour after that at the moment but depending on the time of year obviously that will vary and the lights do come on and it looks absolutely
Spectacular okay guys thank you so much for watching this video I hope you’ve learned all about a brand new hidden travel destination and I hope this inspires you to go out and explore somewhere new if not come to the Ender and try the climb yourself check out the
