A casual chair if you want to hang out in the bathroom and this might be the world’s most awkward toilet it reminds me of those smoker rooms at the airport you know when they keep them in glass boxes there’s a comedian that says Don’t tap on the glasses scar of smokers don’t

Do that I’m just picturing like Nate taking a shower in the morning and then me using the toilet and we can just stare 100% not why would you ever want that all the rooms here at the Hilton have buttons instead of knobs which I really enjoy keep in mind this isn’t

Delights that they homade for us with ingredients that they grew on the island this chocolate has gold on it there’s gold in them Hills oh what this golden them D Hills we have our own bar I would like to point out that the coconuts have the miraca written on them maaca is

Maldivian for Coral not like moraca you know um here’s the cork that oh nice we have an eight person dining room table I just feel like we’re going to want to eat downstairs and do everything downstairs but who knows and this is something I’ve never seen in a

Hotel room before our host told us that you can hire a private Chef to come to your Villa and cook your meals right here in the kitchen this goes to the outside so they can just privately come in you never see them they cook a meal

And it go straight to your dining room in case you want to spend some time outside facing the island where everyone else has to stay we have private deck number one that was a joke about having to stay we very much enjoyed our week here in the overwater Villa but private

Deck number two is no doubt the best one these do they make you look tiny look at this we have a huge pool multiple lounge chairs an outdoor shower but best of all the deck literally just ends at the ocean and it’s so deep you can just dive

Straight off I mean I can be completely naked out here if I wanted to there’s no one around I could just jump in if none of this existed this would still be the coolest hotel room of all time but we’re not even there yet we’re not even to the

Coolest part yet this time the grand finale here is your first glimpse of the underwater Villa oh I ran into the V you may notice those white things that whiteness in the water those are the towels on our bed that is where we’re sleeping since we took the elevator down

On the closest thing we’ve ever done to this is take my niece to sleep at the aquarium in Tennessee and I have such special memories from that the funny thing is it’s actually pretty similar it’s very similar I just don’t want this day to end it’s going by too quickly Wow nighttime is where it’s at oh wow gosh this is crazy we just came downstairs all these lights automatically come on at night wow and it’s attracting the biggest fish and sharks I was not expecting this at all wo look how big that one is what is that

Oh please come closer again that was too cool wao look look at that one what wow look at that shark just disappearing into the darkness that is freaky I didn’t think it would actually be better at night but it’s better it’s better gosh did it scare you yes I will never

Get used to that oh this is not the place to be at night no this is their daytime hangout wa the closet at night the Deep Side wow this makes me never ever want to swim in the ocean at night yeah how how much would I have to pay

Everywhere thousands of fish you see that shark yeah the giant fish is back okay so this iPad acts as a remote for all the lights in the water we’re going to see if we can create a little fish disco action how about mixed blue and purple fade Effect one did anything

Be a little bit of a gimmick like we come down here we take a couple videos a few photos and then we spend most of our time hanging out in the overwater Villa no not a gimmick this has been an experience totally lives up to the height it’s been so cool to experience

Underwater in all of its different forms like when you’re above the surface when it gets dark and when it rains outside that makes such a big difference in your life it doesn’t change the ocean it’s constantly alive if this place wasn’t so crazy expensive I think it would be one

Originally from Nashville, Tennessee, we got married 2013 and were super “normal.” I was a teacher and Nate started a small printing business from the spare bedroom of our apartment.

We discovered the world of “travel hacking” while planning our honeymoon & became addicted 😉

So after 2 years of obsessively saving $35k and over 2 million miles and points, we sold our cars and apartment and left home January 10, 2016 for a “one year” trip around the world.

Our goal was to see as many places as possible before we ran out of money and went back home to “normal life.” We started this channel to share our experiences with friends and family, but quickly fell in love with living on the road and found a new passion for capturing our travels through video. So we did everything we could to keep going.

4 years later, we achieved our new goal of visiting 100 countries and all 7 continents. We had no plans to slow down, until 2020 forced us to 😉 Which is when we bought a converted van to start exploring our own country for the first time!

After ~2 years of van life, we are back to full time international traveling! And now we are finding the best adventures the world has to offer 🙂
