How to fully ENJOY SOLITUDE | Motorcycle Travel ASMR | S2: E5

In this episode Now that the cars and trucks are all gone by and all the restless world with them, I am more alone than ever For the most part it’s as solitary as it can get

Some days it feels like I have my own sun and moon and stars, and a little world all to myself S2, episode 5: Fully enjoy solitude Any sound heard at a great distance has the same effect. A sense of connection to the broader planet

Much like the air makes the distant hills interesting to our eyes from the blue tint it gives to them Distant sounds evoke a similar sense of fascination It is normal to feel lonesome sometimes when you travel alone or at least a bit intimidated by a sense of solitude and insecurity

A few weeks into my travels I started to question If having a motorcycle companion was essential for a peaceful and safe journey To be alone seemed pretty unpleasant But at the same time, I recognized a slight insanity in my mood and I felt like I could anticipate my recovery

With these thoughts in mind and in the midst of a gentle rain at the camp site I was suddenly mindful of such a sweet and sublime connection with Nature In every sound and sight around my tent An infinite and unaccountable friendliness all at once like an atmosphere sustaining me

It made the supposed rewards of human relationships seem insignificant and I’ve never entertained such thoughts since Every pebble along the road felt like a friend, swelling with sympathy Even in places we would call wild and lonely where I didn’t see any people, I still felt connected

The sun is really intense. I’m putting on some sunscreen I’m traveling South to an amazing wild forest named “Bosque de Pomac” Ceviche: a citrusy seafood dish popular throughout Perú. Made from raw fish and cured with lime I found this interesting archaeological site very close to Tucume pyramids

Temperatures are scorching; I need to stay hydrated I will continue exploring nature until I find harmony within myself and the world Until that moment arrives I’ll bring you along on my journeys and adventures
