Up we went and looked around to part exchange it and we were being offered probably £7,000 less than we paid for it to part exchange it so we decided to sell that one through Motor Home Depot and again if you go back you’ll see the

Vlog yeah now we sold that one for a total including the selling fees we made5 in a year so had we gone back to a dealer for part exchange you lose money um dealers can in my experience be greedy they can add on quite a little

Bit but you get a warranty you getting you know is the warranty worth the paper it’s written on though because we found out ours wasn’t it’s no it it it wasn’t really worth the paper it was written on but dealers will knock you down aart Exchange price sell you at a premium and

There was one motor place we went to they offered us £26,000 for our motor home and they had exactly the same but a year older for £34,000 a couple of do away didn’t they I know we do understand they to make money they’ve got to make money but it’s

It’s Tricky we found for us personally we went through Motor Home Depot we sold through them and we bought through them now a dealer will give you a warranty but we went private and we said we want a h check we want anot there’s no guarantee so you’ve got a test drive

It and what you find is what you get now we’ve had it a year we’ve had a problem the Springs broke that was 400 quid little bits in Bobs just for General wear and tear there was nothing wrong whatsoever with this motor home and I would say we got this for £10,000 less

Than you would have paid a dealer yeah have had peace of mind with a warranty I don’t know we rolled the dice and we probably saved £10,000 yeah and I know today we could sell this fan for what we bought it for yeah it’s definitely a case of with um motome Depo

Buy a beware the onus is on you um we would 100% sell through them again and we would 100% buy through them again yeah we absolutely would and you know you go on Facebook there’s Vans like this for three and a half Grand there’s so many

Scams out there so many Tire kickers and and so forth Motor Home Depot uh dealt with a lot I know I’m digressing but if you want a cheap motor home they’re out there you can buy private you can go through Motor Home Depo but all I would

Say is if you buy in private which I think that’s where the bargains are the seller should provide a new mot a brand new Hab Che don’t expect a guarantee you know I wouldn’t give a guarantee if I sold this but i’ certainly give you a Hab check and a

Brand new mot so you can go yes that is I’m I’m happy with that because a hub check will check your gas your electric every single thing that a dealer would put a warranty on so for me buy and private is the way forward yes if you’ve

Got a part exchange you’re going to get hit we were lucky we sold our first motor home before we bought this didn’t we yes so we had a gap where about 3 weeks where we didn’t have so we had a gap and we were luckily enough to be a

Pay a lot of money to go and stay on one of their sites a lot of the time the sites are not available um I to be honest we canceled it after two years we canell it uh the prices were going up and up and up and we just didn’t feel we
