Course you can always translate that and uh well I hope you have a look at That on the culinary side every trip with Kat business class starts with a really nice welcome drink and that’s not just some orange juice and water of course you get that too if you like but they have also for example as non-alcoholic drink a very nice lemon

Mint juice and that’s really fresh you get fresh lemon juice fresh mints so that’s really very nice very good and then you have also all the other drinks from the list uh including champagne and they have two two different kinds of champagne here I um asked for the Rosé

Champagne before the start and that was a Titan at Prestige Ros so that’s a really nice one at the beginning of 2024 there was a big surprise on board a lauron perier Alexandra 2007 as a rosé champagne in business class in a price segment that is hard to find elsewhere

Sometimes even in first class and then after takeoff um they start the service with um warm nuts that’s cashew nuts almonds and pistachos so that’s all really good nuts and then they have champag and that’s not just some champagne but really nice one also in this case it’s a philipon Roy Reserve

Fruit and you see the Moose the musu is very very beautiful very fresh very nicely sparkling so it’s all very good quality how they serve it is also really nice you know with a smile caring uh for the customers and that’s really very special here what is usually reserved

For first class service starts with an amus Bou for some time now and here it was a salmon roll on lbne and before that the table is set really nicely in a way that you don’t see elsewhere with a purple water glass an e candle bread basket and various oils and even the

Napkin is perfectly laid out for the guest droing is no fun here during Co times when most Airlines reduced their service to a minimum Qatar served up almost as much as usual only with higher safety measures such as covers gloves and face shields for everyone the food quality itself though was not not

Compromised so let’s also have a look at the menu before it all starts first of all the food menu uh of course we have bread I talked about that already then there’s a soup of a day that would have been broccoli soup I skipped that today

Because I want to have room for the rest then there’s two appertizers that’s Arabic me and poach tiger prawns with avocado cream and there’s four Mains that’s um stir Fred Black Angus tenderloin with black pepper sauce katari style prawn MC that’s um a rice dish with prawns from Katan then we have

A wild mushroom stuffed chicken breast that’s nice too I think and then there’s a vegetarian dish that’s um ravioli filled with pea and rotter or Peas I hope andriot then we have a cheese plate and then there’s two kinds of desserts that’s raspberry and chocolate gateau so raspberry and chocolate cake and fresh

Berries with rose waterer syrup and then of course it gets light snakes throughout the flight then let’s have a look at the drinks that are not alcoholic and they’re on the food menu actually you have five different kinds of mocktails plus so Jenny that’s the non-alcoholic kind of champagne and

That’s actually not so bad to be honest and there’s of course all kinds of uh soft drinks and a lot a lot of kind of teas and then there also have kak chai which is a really nice chai and then they have all kinds of really nice coffees

Like real ones espresso and so forth then let’s have a look at the alcoholic beverages so this is the wine card the wine menu and of course that’s always really good here at Qatar Airways and we start with champagne they have two different kinds of champagne a regular

One which is not so regular because it’s a reserve champagne so that’s a philipona Royal Reserve brute and then Rosé champagne is from titinger a Prestige Ros then we have a shardon that’s from France we have a to BL also from France and wling from Germany that’s a house closer back rling from

Marus molor then we have three different kinds of red wines that’s a bordo of course from France logical that’s a chat Lynch musaw class poak Bordeaux so that’s really nice then we have a shiras from Australia and Malbec from Argentina then there’s two dessert wines that’s a suan

First of all from France it’s also a class so from 2013 from chat DEA and a 20-year-old Tony Port so 20 years old you don’t normally get on business class that’s reserved for for first class and um well cter a has 20year old ones some business classes or most business

Classes offer 10year old and even some first classes so anyway and then we have all kinds of spirits and that’s of course like the regular ones the whiskies and the rums and so on and then we have nine different kinds of cocktails so that’s really pretty special too including champagne cocktail

So we have a really nice champagne for the champagne cocktail and all the other cocktails on a short side note isn’t it pretty amusing that the national carrier of one of the world’s most conservative Islamic countries has one of the best spirit and wine lists cheers so we’re starting here with poached

Tiger prawns with avocado cream and some micro greens so actually that’s some I think Water Crest or something like that and then there’s some uh pink grapefruit and then we have this what is this interesting looks like cavia but of course it’s not I guess

Yes it looks like javia but I think it’s made from Red beat or something like that but very beautiful the seafood starters are a special highlight here on a short Regional hop to salala I got baric salmon which Swiss only serves in first class and instead of caviar or

Here half a lobster the difference to first class is quite small which somehow might not be so smart for getting potential first class customers however in Qatar first you’d get super exclusive crook champagne and of course there’s also caviar but now let’s compare a little more here starters from first

Class and from business classes on other Airlines So I had a first bite and first of all the prawns are just phenomenal they’re really nice and crisp and Super Super Fresh like yeah and then the avocado cream has actually pieces also of avocado and it’s so fresh it feels like somebody just prepared it now here in

The kitchen of course they cannot be but that’s how it feels very very fresh very nice and then there are little drops like jelly drops jelly drops of what could be some kind of um apple juice reduction or so but it’s really really good I totally forgot just how amazing

Food is here at Qatar a but let’s see we’re just starting Now as a second appetizer I got some Arabic met and the nice thing about Qatar Airways is not only that it mostly tastes really good but also that they have the dine on demand system so you can eat just after take off or just before landing or just in the middle of

The flight as you like you can eat a little you can eat a lot and it’s not like they would do a service and then they disappear for the rest of the flight no they’re always here attentive all the time and that’s really very very special and that I appreciate that so

Much and also they give fresh silver bear with every new um course so you don’t have the dirty silver bear from the first course but no they give you a new one every single time that’s so special I think that’s the only ER that does

It I have like one or two other erand in mind that do that too but otherwise that’s three special in business class as a white wine I’m having a Chardon that’s not from France but from Australia and that’s the penfolds bin 311 from 2018 and um I mean the color is very

Nice very sh on nior of course especially beautiful against the blue sky and it smells nice and H of course it tastes good big surprise before we get to the main courses here’s a short tour of the Q Suite still probably the the world’s best business class but there’s strong

But actually it’s not a piece of steak it’s just um pieces of steak in sauce so I don’t know if that makes sense to use it but maybe I will just take it home and eat it there when it comes to main courses there are only minor differences

In qatar’s business class compared to the first class which seems to be dying here anyway as it’s only available on the airlines few Airbus a granded 80s and although the seat is much larger it is also quite outdated compared to the competition [Applause] [Applause] so after the main course we have cheese and the cheese spatter here is really fantastic look at this really really very nice um better than all the rest I would say in business class in the world I think that’s really true have a look at my Singapore Airlines first class

Sweets review I mean I said it already in another review but um the Singapore Island first class suits are actually the best uh first class when it comes to the size of the seat because you have a whole little room to yourself and I even

Had two I had a whole double bed and lots of space it was just phenomenal Singapore Island was also voted the best airline of the year I mean that’s arguable of course but it’s a very good Airline but um the first class as I said the first class suets are really

Spectacular a totally amazing um memory but their cheese platter was so embarrassing because everything was so nice and then they had like this counter Quality Cheese suddenly that was really embarrassing and they should have looked at look at this they would probably Cry tears so you have some pears and apple

And some dried apricot and some Walnut four kinds of cheese and this is what I think fig Chutney maybe I’m wrong but tastes like it it tastes very good so I’ve been having some cheese already and that’s really such a good cheese only here the white hard cheese one is really

Spectacular The Taste is so good then of course 20y old Tony port wine it’s just wonderful with it well and um you know the whole setting is really very very close to first class this you don’t get in normally in business class and also this kind of teeth spatter you don’t and here

You do so that’s probably why they call themselves also first in business because already the service is very close to first class and also here the still I think it’s St this orange cheese here tastes so good it’s very well done you know you have four different kinds of cheese and

They’re all very different from each other very well done and also the Walnut here unfortunately I just swallowed it down it was so good but it was not just B it was roasted and I think with a little honey coating so really really very good never had that on a plane lots

Of walnuts but never refined the only airline that topped this in my travel life with amazing cheese and fruit grad was Emirates but that might also have to do with Hennessy parade cognac which was served with It and finally we come to the Sweet finale here with an original take from my last Q sweet report we’re above the Turkish Iranian border right now and we’re having dessert and well I need to just listen to myself what I just said but that’s how it is like on many many Qatar

Airways uh flights every day in the world anyway we having dessert and that’s very nice chocolate raspberry cake it looks very beautiful and with it we’re having some dessert wine and that’s a soan that’s a G Class San from chatau deira from 2013 in San is just always just

Wonderful in this one especially yes really nice and here’s a few more wonderful and also strange desserts at Qatar and other airlines in business and first A so that’s also something that really sets Qatar a apart from the other airlines it’s so beautifully presented with this little kind of deconstructed chocolate something and then you have the fresh fruit and so on it’s just really elevated Elevated Cuisine that you get here on an airline

Here just above the Turkish Iranian border on the flight to Doha so that’s really something this is not first class it’s business class for those of you who can still lie down this is what it looks like when this heat becomes a bed the airline’s longest flight lasts about 17

Hours from ockland to Doha but what does breakfast actually look like here a year ago on an A380 I sacrificed myself completely to the channel and tried out all the breakfast options here’s a few examples the complete report on Qatar Airways largest airliner is available on

The channel the A380 is the only Qatar Airways aircraft to offer a bar on board with drinks and small snacks similar to Emirates but somehow less fun I have no idea why that is if your flight starts late at night and it’s rather short overnight catering might be limited to

You would set the table for it so I’m going to have a full table again and uh yeah so that’s really special too and um I’m having also some so Jenny that’s an alcohol-free sparkling wine and I mean of course it does not taste like sparkling wine and also like champagne

But it tastes nice so before landing a few words about the Qatar Airways lounges because on the ground the airline offers in my experience by far the best catering of all business lounges worldwide in its moan lounges in DOA and the five premium lounges in the world here too only

Emirates gets close to that when it comes to quality of food and beverages however you won’t get alard service in Dubai in the new opulent Garden Lounge just as in its older sister Lounge the offerings range from Arabic Mets to excellent Sushi to a stunning dessert buffet and there are also high quality

Wines just like in the air in the alafa first Lounge the wines are naturally even better however the otherwise not so great Emirates first class Lounge in Dubai is the world champion here with incredibly valuable bottles for sale service at the bar you can find exciting reports about all business lounges in
