📍 The majestic Wiblingen Abbey is located south of the city of Ulm, in the German state of Baden-Württemberg. The monastery’s history dates back to 1093 when it was founded for a Benedictine monastic community. Wiblingen became famous for its scriptorium – a room where diligent monks created beautiful and meticulously crafted manuscripts. The library itself was established later, in the 18th century.
