  1. Great list. I will visit that Monastery next time Im there.
    Apterta—many different ruins from different civilizations. I think it even had a 2,300 year old mint whose coins were accepted throughout Europe.
    Spotted a small fort-like ruin hidden among some bushes, wondered if it was medieval. Then I figured out it was a Nazi gun emplacement.
