Our Holiday Trip to Kolkata

Where are we going? Kolkata.  Kolkata. yep. Good morning sir.   Good morning. Goodbye. Bye.  5 days. Padmini is expert.  Expert Toto driver. Ready for a new  adventure? New adventure? I love Mayapur Adventure. foggy. Look at that tree  over there. You can’t even see it.

Why are we not going by taxi? The kids  don’t like cars. I like cars. I don’t want   to go with the train. It’s so much hard work.  She’s the main reason why we’re going   by train. Car drive is very difficult,  because they’re building a new highway  

It takes like 5 hours 6 hours to go to  Kolkata. Therefore we’re going today with the  train to the Kolkata. I think it will be fun. What’s happening here? The first unexpected  stop. Because of the fog the boat is not going and  

The boat is only going if the fog clears up. Which is maybe around 10. Which is when we should already   be on the other side in our train. So there’s like  hundreds of people waiting. okay adventure   begins. India. I love it. India. We love it. There has to be some obstacle in the pilgrimage.  

Always has to be something. So we called a  taxi. Maybe we go by taxi to Kolkata. Or to   the train station. Let’s see. It will be hard to  catch the train I guess. Kids what do you think?  

Train or taxi? Train. Taxi. What do you say?  Traxi. Let’s go with the traxi. with the train? Traxi. What are you listening? Ramayana. Train better than car? Better. Oh fresh air. At least. Do I look already like an  Indian? No. Not yet. Not fully there. Thank you for your service.

Train ride was good? Little crazy here? Welcome to India. Where are we? yeah. In the new Govinda  restaurant. I don’t know which part of Kolkata.   But it’s very nice. It’s very nicely decorated. Very decent decorated. I did not have  

The food yet. There are all different names  of Krishna on the wall as a decoration. Where is Damodara? Right over there. On the last… all the way over  there. I read all of them, so I know. okay. This was  

The first Prep? Very tasty. very tasty. It  isn’t new actually. I just found out. New to   us. But it should be one of the best  restaurants in Kolkata. Best best vegetarian restaurants. You know I love Mayapur? You know? He cannot  speak. He has sign language. thank you.

For the first time here at Bhaktivinode Asan. It’s actually the place … Bhatisiddhanta Prabhupada’s first place where he established  the Gaudiya Math. He was living here from 1918 till 1930. Can you make make holiday in Kolkata? Is it possible? I mean,  it’s a city. It’s a city holiday.  

It’s like… I mean… There’s traffic and then  you have to go to different places through   the traffic jam. But it  has a lot of nice places actually Kolkata.  You like the Kolkata trip? It was good. Just  one thing. I hate cars.

What you like the most? That’s  an easy question. Tell me. Aqua Park. Your favourite? Being with my family. Like  always. But I really like the place where Bhaktisiddhanta Prabhupada his Gaudya Math started. It was really really beautiful. Sublime. Something for the heart.
