Im glad thats one problem I dont have to worry about. I love walking long distances and im from Virginia, so there are many great places to walk around near me.
CAP.
100% true
15-21,000 steps a day for us in Europe. We spend ~ 2 months a year traveling mostly in Europe. Off for five weeks in Italy next week. Love it!!
because americans are used to driving that when they go to europe they whine about public transportation and walking
100000% agree!!!!
This baffled me. I walk 15-20k steps (days I’m not working out). Are people really that passive that they need to prepare to walk around town?
Totally agree, I just got back from a trip to Croatia and I averaged around 7 miles a day.
That's why Europeans are more fit than Americans. We drive everywhere, even if it's up the block.
Definitely good advice to follow. I regularly ended up with 15,000-20,000 steps a day while in Amsterdam when I was there last time.
I used my hoverboard exception Paris where I hired a mime to carry me around
It takes a day or 2 to adjust but honestly it’s so nice having the option to be able to walk everywhere compared to North America
I work in London and I can do 10,000 just commuting to work. I have no idea how I could survive in American suburbia where I had to drive everywhere. My weight would explode!
7 miles a day? Step it up man!
❤❤❤
I had a pair of walking shoes that between 2016 and 2023 has 1,000 or so miles put on the just walking. I replaced them because they were cracking and coming apart. They have beento Ireland, Scotland, Italy, Greece, Switzerland the Provence region, the French Riviera, and the Yucatan.
Yep, in my case, as one example, when I was in Japan, for the first time last year in Tokyo, crap ton of walking to get to the places we wanted to go to as well as the weather being very very hot!🥵🥵🥵 and been jetlagged from a 13 hour flight!
Americans lol 😆
I lost 10 lbs in one week in Paris.
When I travel normally do at least 10 miles a day sometimes up to 15.
I try to avoid pubic transport unless cities which you need to of cause
Even if you're taking a trip to Disney world people should be walking. Most vacations require walking.
I live in Las Vegas and people are surprised coming on vacation here that they have to walk to places 😅
Can you remove the subtitles please? They’re too big and flashy and distracting.
For Americans: You will need to take the public transport system when you are traveling in Europe if you don’t want to break the bank as the costs of taxis and Ubers can really add up to a huge amount
Best advice!!
We average 12K a day on vacation in England.
How to say you live in the US, without saying you live in the US…..
3 weeks in Europe and Venice was a 3 day stop, we did about 30k of steps just there alone… that should tell you something
