Exploring Tokyo in 3 days is completely possible! Follow me as I explore the amazing sites of Akihabara, Yoyogi Park, Meiji-jinju Shrine, Harajuku, Golden Gai, Maricar, and a few other fun spots in Tokyo!

Itinerary:
Day 1:
– When I first arrived at Tokyo Station, I ate at an incredible ALL vegan ramen restaurant call T’s Tan Tan (located in Tokyo Station)
– Took a train to Shibuya and checked in at the Tokyo Stay Hotel
– On the way to the train station, I walked through the crazy Shibuya Crossing (busiest crosswalk I’ve ever seen)
– Next stop was Akihabara, also known as Tokyo’s Electric Town (perfect for people who love cheap electronics, anime, and maid cafes?)
– Harajuku was one of my favorite places! So much fun, colorful, and crazy styles everywhere.

Day 2:
– After I woke up, I walked to Yoyogi park and got away from the busy city. So many talented people hang out and practice their crafts here.
– Inside Yoyogi park is the famous and beautiful wooden Meiji-Jinju Shrine!
– I wandered around for a bit then met up with the same friend from Kyoto to do some shopping at Harajuku
– We ate at Kawaii Monster Cafe! It was soo cute and they had vegan options. I had the rainbow spaghetti pasta 🙂
– After dinner we decided to go to Golden Gai in Shinjuku to drink and then ended up dancing at club Casablanca (shoutout to the DJ for playing breakdance beats for us!)

Day 3:
– I woke up and grabbed vegan onigiris (pickled plum rice balls) from the convenient store
– Then took a train to Shinagawa to do the Maricar Gokart tour! This was honestly one of the best things I have done! If you do this, you need an international drivers permit (you can get these at any AAA location for $20) and your license. Book the 2 hour tour from Shinagawa and definitely make sure you take the tour that goes through Odaiba’s rainbow bridge
– Ended my last day with shopping in Shibuya and then took the Narita Express train to the airport.

I was able to do a ton of stuff in Tokyo within 3 days and even had time to relax in between. If you have an questions on this part of my trip, comment down below! I would love to help you all plan out your next adventure to Japan!
