Join us on our final leg of the Romantic Road in Bavaria our first stop is Munich where we will Marvel at the stunning architecture and culture and explore the Magnificent residence Palace we venture South to the charm Village of Fus a place that stole our hearts get ready to

Be captivated by the fairy tale like nin castle and so much more we even hop across the border to Austria for the day in the Alps then let the journey begin good morning from Munich we are just wandering around this morning in Munich checking out the sites not sure what

We’ll get up to saved a few attractions that we wanted to check out post some of the historical things um but yeah we’re just going to wand and and see what City’s all about hopefully we’ll take you to some highlights and show you something interesting shall we go let’s Go welcome to the frown kersa where Gothic spes touch the sky during World War II the cathedral suffered severe damage due to Air Raids the church roof collapsed one of the towers was severely damaged and many Irreplaceable historical artifacts held inside were either destroyed by bomb raids or removed with debris despite this

Devastation the cathedral was reconstructed between 1948 and 1955 and it remains a symbol of resilience in the heart of Munich what do you think what’s one word uh I it’s beyond words that’s how big it is it’s like extravagant Extravagant Pap Belly and potato Sal mom standing up rocket store really good po hot dog hot dog Yum after after lunch we made our way to the resident Palace a masterpiece of Bavarian architecture This Magnificent Palace served as the seat of government and residents of the Bavarian Dukes electors and Kings from 1508 to 1918 what began in 1385 as a castle in the northeastern corner of the city was

Transformed by the rulers over the centuries into a magnificent Palace its buildings and Gardens extending further and further into the town as each change of ruler occurred much of the residence was destroyed during the second world war and from 1945 it was gradually reconstructed showcasing opulent Interiors Exquisite artworks and Grand Halls What a beautiful day in Munich weather’s epic and shorts and a shirt shorts and t-shirt yeah and I’ve been all day s and chilly the stuff but now it’s good in the shade when the breeze is up nice though I like it everyone in singlets and shorts and

Stuff I just did the M residence Munich the palace it was Bloody epic it was €9 each for entry that adults and kids were free8 it’s about like 30 30 something $30 Australian or something it was about 2 or 3 hours walking around and just insanely just insane crazy from like the

1400s 1700s 1800s gold really intense three people in there yeah any we are just going to continue wondering see what else we Find [Applause] W inw World Munich Munich yeah I thought we’ pop in cuz I been keep my eye on a couple of uh BMW sports cars and motor bikes and things just have you just for when we decide to stop traveling eventually just keeping a you know little side eye little side eye and

There’s no dealers in Australia can go and like look at an M2 or whatever and yeah so I just thought we’d hop along and have a look and see a cool architectural building it’s pretty epic feel like you’re a snail has like one of the little antenna an going I’m I haven’t

Forgot about you over here Sports Things Oh ah good afternoon look at this beautiful sunshine so gorgeous we are at the and I’m going to have to read it out to you H longor terrible pronunciation absolutely no idea that’s that’s the best I can do um it’s basically a beautiful lake near Munich about half an hour out of Munich

And uh it’s a Sunday here and the locals are absolutely enjoying it in this gorgeous weather and it’s beautiful and blue and we’re just going to make a picnic back of the car and then continue on if I had my sa I’d be sapping out there but I don’t but that’s okay still

Beautiful and if you are motor homing around or you are you do have a supp whatever vanning around or whatever definitely put this one on the list and spend the spend the day you do have to pay for parking here though as well so keep that in mind there’s also a chaos

Here and toilets so good good for a day Perfect All righty we are almost in at fusen not quite um and we have been AED for the last bit haven’t we sted those are European is better um European Um mountains are just something special that’s for sure especially when you haven’t seen them for a while with

Castles doting them yeah yeah and um the norw shine CL Castle however we say it giant um we’re like oh W look at that castle blah blah blah and we’re like I don’t think that’s the one we’re going to go and see but nope that’s the one

But we’re actually going to check it out a bit closer hopefully tomorrow uh the weather is hopefully it’s the weather is nice but the reason I jumped on was really quickly was that one thing we keep forgetting about is that shopping grocery stores close on Sundays everything but essential

Everything but Essentials close on Sundays so fuel is open and that’s not any Essentials like supermarkets on work yeah but like supermarkets are not Essentials for some we just went to a r at a service station and it was the only one open in the whole region and even

Then they like only had a third of the store open like with Essentials with Essentials and couldn’t go and do the rest of your shopping and only had like the shitty checkouts yeah and they had like the service station JS and like they put six bottles of milk into the beer cool room

Basically like cuz you couldn’t access the milk fridge and you have to film that hang on I through the dirty wind screen I need to get on to that we are really loving as well the dotted green dark green and light green trees Another Castle uh yeah so anyway back to the

Room um yeah so we got like you could get a fruit and veg some meat and a few basics of like your um pastas and stuff like that stuff was in yeah but I feel like they had like a small range everything of everything kind of thing

Except um barely like no cheese or anything they literally had like a trolley of milk and a couple of cheeses on in the cool room which is really weird but yeah anyway oh look at the color it’s like milky it’s like milk yeah and yes being a Sunday it’s like

Hectic busy here tourists and locals out riding bikes and stuff but yeah excited for this little stay we’re only doing two nights again and then we cross we’ve like head up the Alpine Road across the bottom of Germany without ducking into Switzerland and then up north to the

Black forest for two more nights and then we come back down and cross the into Switzerland yeah so epic we got some really cool Stu epic mountainous like 3 weeks for the next yeah 3 weeks it’s going to be epic so Yeah hello from Fen fan which is the end of the Romantic Road and what an end and we are staying at an Airbnb yeah it’s a really nice apartment much cheap much much cheaper than a hotel room yeah yeah what are we paying here I can tell you okay you talk

And I’ll look up so it’s just a one bedroom with ARA on the lounge folded out into a bed it’s got full kitchen and bathroom so we can cook some food and have a normal life with some Alp views and this gorgeous River just down the little Alleyway which is

Awesome uh how much are we paying $225 a night $225 a night so it’s on the expensive 5 but it’s cheaper than Hotel it’s way cheaper than the hotels around down here yeah we should walk down there that looks kind of pretty sure looks like a little hidden path H

It’s like a little hidden path it’s not hidden anymore you get to under The M go [Laughter] well that was a bit random after our little walk we ended up at the like tourist attraction of the falls and Bridge we are having the best afternoon um it was started out with a walk through the forest and then we randomly stumbled across the gorge which is like

A famous attraction number 10 geographical attractions in Germany yeah which is the waterfall delect um Falls and waterf and Gorge we around town across the river again uh looking at another churchy castley thing which and then we saw some people playing like the woodwinds like the traditional the traditional Long

Horn big oboy things no Long Horn long horns and we followed them inside to the museum and there was a free Orchestra inside the museum inside the museum and we’ll definitely pop some video in now cuz Arya had a great time and we had a great time too yeah it was

Awesome was awesome and now we’ve come wandering through the old city yeah all because we just ran for a random walk and we didn’t have any plans so much fun love it love It We got very lucky we did get very lucky we Jagged it we Jagged it exactly like with the clock the other day yes the CL in mun we Jag that and we Jag this again right place right time which never really happen once a week Orchestra performance 600 p.m.

Sundays um but yeah so far we are loving fusen Fen fuchan I don’t know how we say it’s gorgeous I love it mountains around gorgeous City Town love it we found a delicious restaurant for dinner to wrap up a wonderful day of exploring and culture Austria yeah we came for a drive this morning into Austria cuz you know that’s what you do when you’re not in Australia and you’re one big country when you’re in Europe you can just like drive across to a different country which is cool which is cool and it’s epic just as epic

I think Austria is like epic number one so far it’s just surrounded by mountains everywhere oh you’re only dripping for 5 minutes in there can’t make that call I think the whole country is straight up thewi and you didn’t have this on your list know I think it’s going on the list

I think it is I don’t think we have enough time before winter no winter winter is the issue sh issue shangan and winter two problems um yeah any um sh around a bit of Austria we’re not going far we’re just going for a bit of a

Drive um and again the wild flowers here are just amazing so so many wild flowers everything’s amazing so cool all right I’m going to stop Talking All righty we are back in Germany after our little Austria Drive we’ve found a nature play Riverside Forest Area I am going to mangle the name but it’s wilded I’ll put it In There’s also a treetop walk here and it was5 per adult children freak so why not hey are you you’re in Austria yeah I’m in Germany U we you can do it two ways if like there around back um but our cars parked at this end of it so we just did

The one way and took that as the route to so we parked at the second one walked up did the bottom bit play area then enter did the Skywalk and finished up at the end where the car park is worked out really well time for some

Lunch we took a picnic lunch to forgany Lake a stunning Blue Lake just 5 minutes drive out of fuson town center this would be a perfect place for Fun and relaxing on a warm summer’s day we got love that we never need to hide love always rise

Above whatever comes we will be just fine if I am yours and you are mine take my hand and let’s fly away to another Galaxy hold me close I want to feel your love together we are free just be with me just be with me just be with me Now we’re one with the son of our heads and at night will be the Stars we can go any place that we want to I don’t care if that’s too far take my hand and let’s fly away um so yesterday the castle then noin walk and talk so we make it oh um

Was booked out and then this morning I managed to check online and they’ opened a whole bunch of bookings at like 9:30 this morning so what we research told us was you book in advance if you know you’re organized and all that sort of stuff or you can rock up on the day

Early like 8:00 and try and score a ticket for the day um we were like can’t at the gate and we were like oh that’s a lot of organizing rushing around when we’re like e maybe we just maybe it wasn’t meant to be anyway Daniel decided

To check at like 9:30 and there was a bunch of tickets so we booked the 4 450 p.m. English tour so that’s what we’re doing this afternoon last one I think the last one of the day and then we’re going to try and head to a lookout after

That it goes for half an hour apparently we go to a lookout after that and um sunet hopefully we’ll see a sunset or there to thereabouts it’s pretty late Sunset these days so we might not hang that long’re about to see the Castle While I remember there’s a few parking areas as well but it’s €0 per car um no matter how long you stay so it’s quite expensive that’s 16 Australian dollars with the conversion rate at the moment um and you have to walk to pass the ticket office to the Aly car park to

Catch a bus up which also costs um3 per adultt one more one way or you can do 450 no five something like that for a return if you want to but we don’t think we’ll make it back for the return last bus so I think we have to walk it

Um that was hard work and it drops you off to like a 20 minute walk to the castle for your tour you walk right underneath It um just a quick little update so we have made it into the waiting area of the castle for our time for our tour you can explore around a little bit um if you don’t have a tour but there’s no filming on the inside apparently so what the

Website told us where if that changes and I can film I’ll let you know if not we’ll see you after the tour and let you know how it is it’s nice cool the two is very short it’s very uh basic managed they don’t lot of visitors a

Year so I kind of understand it but also it’s literally like a tour every 5 minutes and like SL through yeah but it was like what it was all up it was about 15 minutes start to finish yeah H just adding on to Daniel’s little end there there’s a couple of videos at

The end as well and yeah you don’t get to see see a whole lot but you do get to see some pretty cool things in there including the kitchen which is Awesome Tell the funny story why are we back down before Sunset oh yeah my camera battery ran out before I even took a single photo um have you taken a photo yet in Vietnam or no cuz every time I don’t have a card or the batter’s out or forget the camera or

Something so he’s attempted three times today being number three first time just like forgot the camera didn’t have it on the tour cuz he was like no there’s not going to be any photos and he’s like damn then the second time no card and then today battery you’ll get one eventually hey

Yeah um and yeah D does not feel like a walking back up um so yeah it’s an hour walk we got a nice photo on our phone just can’t sell it to you guys sorry coming up next week join us as we explore the Black Forest region we
