Hautes-Alpes is a prefecture located in the center of the French Alps.
The drive starts near Lake of Serre-Ponçon and goes up to Briançon (1,326 m / 4,350 ft), the highest city in France.
The drive ends at the campground in Le Monêtier-les-Bains, 15 km northwest of Briançon.
We head to Col du Galibier and Col de l’Iseran on the next day.
