We stayed in Oblarn, Austria for two days and drove to Hallstatt. The drive is very scenic. Takes about 30 minute to reach Hallstatt. Unfortunately it was raining for the most part but we didn’t have an option to re-plan this.
Parking will be a major issues once you reach Hallstatt! you have 4 major parking spots and you have to make sure to arrive early or you will end up parking quite further away. Parking 1 and 2 are the most closest to the actual town or else you’ll end up walking about a km or so. We arrive around 1PM and couldn’t find parking and ended up at the 4th parking lot and walked almost a kilometer.
You can use your credit card to pay and i think i paid about 8 euros for three hours, so it’s not that bad. This video does not show the actual town of Hallstatt. I will be posting another shorter video of driving through the town at some point.
