This is a $5 dinner challenge for two we are at Jan Night Market filled with street food In Paya Thailand so will we be able to make the $5 quarter let’s find out this Market is open from 5:00 p.m. till 10 p.m. but sometimes at exactly at

5:00 p.m. many vendors are not set up yet so we come right L around 5:30 to 6:00 and a lot of vendors sell out fast so let’s start with a little market tour right up front you see some tables facing the ocean so there you see everyone kind of

They have tables in the courtyard there and then the tables that are facing out and there’s the ocean and look at that beautiful sunset it’s just amazing this like a perfect place to eat and kind of just chill and catch the sunset oh no music maybe we should do this part first mhm

Okay so where we have the bear and draft area so in this area here this is where most people buy their drinks they come here as you can see a cup is 65 b and a large one is $195 and of course you can get sodas and everything else and you

Can also get beer in a can it is cash only and you can also get a picture over here so here’s a quick look at just the area the seating area everyone purchases their food and then they come here and eat and watch the sunset this fruit shakes are super

Popular in patea or anywhere in Thailand we have different mixed fruit varieties for 25 bu yeah it’s really cool just keep in mind they automatically add sugar so if you watching your calories or watching your sugar levels just tell them not to add any sugar syrup as you can see his

Pineapp oh our boy here some cup so this is his stall and you just choose the cup you want depending on what’s in the cup and they kind of blend it all up with um with ice look at that that one has ly orange mango pineapple strawberry papay and papaya and I don’t

Know what this is and yeah some type of melon yeah so again these cost what is it 25 Buck uh-huh really Awesome so here we have another stall this is a Russian SL Eastern European Cuisine they have uh stewed potatoes with meat salad uh different styles of chicken uh chicken patty pork patty for example one patty of chicken is 30 B and they also do combos a Patty of chicken with either mashed potatoes

Or macaroni for 60 B yeah and this is a mix you can’t really see right now but they have chunks of meat it’s a very generous portion potatoes with meat very flavorful and it is only 70 B so here we have pork and chicken patties as well Most of the um portions here are really big so let’s move on here we have fish they Grill it right here you can see the gr we have not tried it but we see many people eat it um I’m not really even sure how to eat

It but this type of fish is very popular in Thailand you can see it in many different tight Street Markets and and as you can see these fruit shakes are very popular as well and they also and they also have very interesting combinations with bananas Oreos some type of jellies look milk so

They have uh all different styles you can get coconuts for just 40 B so as we continue s cat and this is Gill chicken only 60 but it’s very soft it might look a little dry on the video but it’s actually very soft um they cook it right here they actually just changed

Their Grill and they you as you can see they put it inside and um it’s it’s really delicious so they portion it by here’s all your thighs here’s all the breast and here’s the wing and the ti portion and then if you want wings they got Wings over there and if you want

Half of of this type of chicken is a 100 B 100 B and they also have wings as well and if you’re a seafood lover you can get shrimps they are kind of boiled I’m not sure we never taste it it’s a actually 200 B for a plate of six jumbo

Shrimp this is smoked fish we’re not sure what fish but he’s grilling it right there so as you can see the fish actually has some type of a sauce on top of it or some type of a seasoning that’s what makes it looks orange the fish is

Not really orange it just looks that way because of the seasoning and of course there’s shrimps that they grow for you there’s octopus there’s cackles squid snails really cool I’m not sure how that is prepared we never had it here’s another spot you have potato garlic potatoes 50 mhm you have regular

Potatoes here done in a special way I guess potato gron uhhuh then you have pasta Balan B spinach uh yes spinach lasagna and Bak brussle Sprout um the portions are very generous and they 60 80 150 bu and here they have ribs again they’re smoking them right there look at

That so he’s pulling it out right from this fire pit yeah I I’m not sure how much um the price goes let me find out how much are the ribs 100 G 60 100 G 60 butt and how much roughly how many ribs is 100

G oh like this the whole the whole thing no no he oh so he would weigh it here and then he’ll tell you how much it is yeah they have garlic bread for 30 B also and uh some type of pizza p p bread well itough don’t know uhhuh that’s for 30

B really cool let’s go to the next St you can see people with their bags of food a French rice with different sauces Greek salad is 60b a potato salad 60b and F slow also 60 bu so this St only specialized in french fries and salads here we go loves sushi so one

Piece of sushi is 20 bu and they have different varieties they have they making it right there you can see let’s see Chef is back there he’s rolling it up a lot of the stuff you’ll find here you’ll see that they’re actually doing it fresh yeah preing all different types

Of sushi and they go for what was it 25 20 b each and she’s torching it looks like crab or some type of a salmon topping really good and here are some come this is my favorite stall because they make the best vegetables saate vegetables but besides that they have

Really big portions with different styles of fried rice and noodles right now they only prepped rice rice with chicken is 50 B A rice with shrimp 60 but and uh this is U my favorite vegetable stir fry they’re 50 but even though they look kind of simple but they

Taste really good and this is the same uh stall right next to it they have um salad fresh uh cabbage salad that I love and they make some type of things with egg and shrimp I’m not sure what those are called so uh those are 60 B oh yeah

These things right we’ve seen them often oh this is omelette with seafood that’s what it is okay so basically it’s egg right they beat the egg they put Seafood in it and they drop it inside these uh these pits there’s the the mixture is right there and then they put it in the

Pits and then they how to fry them up look at that that’s awesome and of course fresh corn Thailand is known for nice juicy fresh corn it is only 25 bu I think we missed couple of stalls on the other side let’s go back to the place as you can see it’s

Now getting busy here as it goes on later on at night I think the busiest times here would be like maybe 8:00 and the reason why people forming the line is to the next stall but they’re literally covering the Tom Yum stall the Tom Yum is a a traditional Thai soup and

Here you can see they have chicken on Ice Seafood fresh herbs and you can choose which uh type of Tom yam you would prefer uh how much is Tom yam all right thank you so we have chicken tomyam for 80 B um spicy the shrimp 120 and Squid 120 and mix Seafood for

150 B so the next to okay um right next to here to the Tom Yum guy he’s getting ready to put out his stuff he just got here now normally he’s not here until about 8:00 but today it looks like he got here a little bit early this is my

Favorite cake that is a lemon uh lemon cake and it has like a lemon frosting on top it is so good and look how big the chunks are and this goes for I believe it’s 30 Buck per chunk of cake but also they have different styles of fishries

Here lots of donuts this entire table is covered with different types of sweets baked sweets so now here you see people online there’s only a few people this is really really good for now sometimes the line goes all the way back to my boy over

There with the ribs this is Mr boom and he does Pai and it’s crazy the way he does his Pai because he would line up like six of them or eight of them in a circle and he cooks all that amount really quickly and the way he cooks it

It’s the face that he makes it he really enjoys and um the PTI I think um is about 90 B and it goes a little bit more higher it depends in if you want chicken or seafood or mixed Seafood so it depends what you want inside so here’s

The Roy pancakes and which is really popular in Thailand look how many different varieties you can order she’s making one right now so you guys see what it looks like so nice the price starts from 20 b um and uh I’m not sure I guess it’s a

Plain one but regular they also have it with egg and it’s four 40 B and it goes the most expensive is 90 B and they mix uh different flavors with banana Nutella pineapple egg egg and Nutella um so he’s getting a p he’s getting chocolate it looks like a strawberry and and there’s

Also condensed milk too you can do different toppings really really awesome so let’s move on so here’s another guy who does uh ribs and pork so that’s the pork there and again they’re making it right here you see this big pot everything is done by weight and here’s another popular vendor

There’s a little bit of line here so look at that it is called the ARA donor Kebab chicken kebab was 70 bu tuna 80 beef 100 and you can also do mix chicken and beef for 130 they do it really good they torch it so really really really

Good let’s move on it feels really hot they making it right here this is a barbecue stand they have uh different skewers with an noi mushroom and pork I guess just pork is 25 chicken skewers 25 this is crocodile guys and it is 40 wat

This is duck skewer 40 and beef is also 40 bu and again they’re grilling it right there so you can pick how many you want and whichever one you want and they will Grill it for you fresh of course it will take a few minutes and right across

This is one of the most diverse markets right acoss they have a taco stand they make tacos burritos fajitas cadilla and um different varieties too they have um beef shrimp pork chicken and vegetarian and of course the price is very dependent on what you would like inside

The vegetarian option starts from 100 B and the most expensive one I see is 170 B for pork cadilla and here we just have a place she does uh salads yeah with different dressings she has her salads and she has all different types of dressings you

Could choose and that goes for 50 Buck yeah and uh spring rolls fresh spring RS are also 50 B as you can see some veners are not even really set up yet normally this is complet this is another Tom Yum seafood and Fish and Chicken they have

Everything on Ice you can see everything is packaged it’s clean shrimps look five shrimps is 150 B variety a mixed Seafood shrimp um uh fish squid is also 150 B awesome and here is a Mediterranean food they make falafel they uh do homemade hummus for 60 B and they also have a Mixed

Plate set for 120 B that includes Falafel bowls uh humus some cabbage and french fries and uh they also have a potato salads here as well there’s the hummus some vendors are clothes sold out that’s what they say sold out yeah so this Fender is closed and believe it or

Not pizza yes Pizza we have not had pizza here but they have different varieties they bake it right there they have an oven cheese pizza starts at 169 B and they make have mixed vegetables carbonara tuna tuna mushroom and ham pizza so cool yeah very large uh

Variety you can find here yeah it is really popular actually salami pleas so let’s go over here cup cup so here you notice she has also the large one that we saw further down but she makes them much bigger and of course the pork grinds so

Good and these are sold by the pound so by GRS right so when you weigh it you choose the amount you want they put it in a scale and that will basically tell you how much it is actually look at them right here this is what they look like

When they come from out of here yeah these are called us uh Burgers she calls them Burgers so but they egg and beef they have um chicken inside egg and chicken or egg and beef inside so different stuffings and those little sandwiches are 50 B each but they are

Pretty um coolish they are they are um she also grills chicken right here she has a big oven in the back yeah actually that’s the oven right there that’s where that’s where all the magic happens yeah uh let’s go over here o lots of seafood variety smoked fish a

Lot of uh Russian uh people love like this um it actually goes good with beer I’m not sure the translation they have plates of shrimp uh the different types of fishes that he puts on the grill right uh inside his stove um and one thing you got to know about their

Shrimps here in Thailand they all have a face you see the shrimp has a eye and it has everything on it so they don’t want you to serve them no type of shrimps if it doesn’t have the head on it it has to have the head it’s t so yes and here you

Have tackles um octopus squid and as you can see they put ice on top to make sure it stays fresh and you don’t get sick and he’s grilling it right back there so again everything is that you see raw gets grilled right in front of you really

Cool so and we are just uh halfway through the very CL Ro and we already see so much variety so some of the stuff are repeated so we can go a little bit faster so here’s another stall he does the same kind of the same thing look at

This c crab beautiful and here is salmon with different types of sauces you can choose it and they also cook it for you right here sa uh here she does uh baked potatoes so she does all different types of um potato dishes and she has uh some

Juices over here is a papaya salad salad so mango salad is 80 B papaya salad 70 B and if you want to have with with seafood is 110 B but she has fresh vegetables right there she’s making the papaya salad so everything is nice and fresh really

Cool and if you miss uh Western food you have Burgers here so double pork burger with price um combo is 179 bot double beef burger with french fries and Coca-Cola 249 bus and they do chicken burgers here well the burgers are pretty good mhm this is a noodle soup station and pork

With chicken and pork so basically once you get your soup you come here and you kind of choose what it is you want to put in your soup and you just drop it in and go have a seat so and price 60 B and 70 B depending on what kind of variety

You would like to have they have egg there and here we have another stall we have some roasted corn and in this stall we it’s very interesting because it’s a lot of um so we would say the scraps I don’t like yeah like so you have chicken

Gizzard you have chicken feet here a lot of the uh the the the airs um this is the tongue yeah we have never tried this right and here’s the foot so this is cow foot cow foot yes or mhm Fork foot yeah or pig foot oh yeah pig foot might be pig foot

Yeah awesome oh yeah Pig oh Pig it’s Pig there it goes cup and cup and if you want a fried chicken breast with some gr yeah with some french fries and salad they make it right here as well we have another type of grilled chicken

This one is um what yeah and how much does it cost for the full is 160 half half is 80 and they also have sticky rice for 10 B per bag mhm so that’s the half and that’s the whole chicken and then here’s the rice sticky rice and Jasmine rice

And even though we are in a Tha Market there is Indian Indian food so we come here we get our Indian food from here he chefs it up for us he does a really great job it really tastes good I usually get the chicken masala so flavorful really really good and the

Briani rice tastes really good they have garlic none and they also make everything right here behind the the N gets put in the stove right there and that’s where it gets made right there you want to see oh you have none in there do you have none in there oh wow

Look at that so that’s where the nine goes they stick it right on the side and it comes out within minutes thank you and yes pasta so you have if you’re tired of Thai food you can get different types of pasta and maybe for kids just plain

Pasta with butter and again it starts from 70 80 B depending what you want inside 60b or 100 B pasta with shrimp and mushroom sauce so so good so here she’s not prepared as yet over here this is uh you have chicken wings chicken uh breast um chicken legs on the

Other side and they all fried up right here and you can get that here really good and you can also get a bag of rice for 10 and the last on this uh row you have tum yum so different soups you can get here yeah it’s different types of t Tha

Curry specialty Thai curry I personally love green curry you have red curry you have tom tom yum and different stir fries is fried uh chicken and pork with seafood and noodles and they do it right here once you choose what you want they come right here and they make it for you

They Chef it out awesome uh this Market also have um a few rows of clothes and some type of uh other items that you might vacation right but we we today focusing on the food only uh they also have a bar here but they um setting it

Up or maybe it will be close for today but normally they have um a high chairs here there are a couple of bartenders they mixing up drinks so if you want to have some food or just come here for mixed drinks you have it here so you

Have uh your beers in the front and the full bar here in the back and the drinks are super affordable they sell them in buckets here is another Thai food SE section for only 50 bu you can get different types of uh ground beef with

Basil a little bit spicy and you see you can um they put it over rice it’s a very generous portion and uh the food is delicious so if you’re in the mood for Thai food you can come uh to this stall as well right next to it the stall right

Now is empty but you can see the Japanese lanterns here they sell um salmon Teryaki and a few varieties of sushi but they usually come later and as you notice we have a really big line to 789 kitchen and this St is all about Russian food if you didn’t know Thailand

Is super popular amongst Russian people and it is really nice to find some Russian food um and we’ve been coming to the St pretty much all the time we already know the owners it is so delicious but it’s a very big line yeah I’m not sure

If we’re going to be able to peek in and see kind of what it is the type of food they have yeah but they have fried potatoes there chicken different type of pastries dumplings um yeah PL or P how they call it in English um creps stuffed crebs mushed potatoes traditional Russian

Soups so so much good food and it’s like homemade style it’s really delicious it does remind me of my mom’s cooking so it was really nice to find the stall here and they’re always busy the line always stretches all the way to the back there is another another Russian stall but it

Is made uh the food is made by a Tai woman so it does not taste as good as this one here they have another chicken cets and they do Fried Chicken um there’s a dog there’s always dogs there’s dogs everywhere here tha here he’s begging so she has a chicken

Cure she’s going to give to him so here it’s also interesting here they have this is all a grill station so they have grilled sausages grilled chicken gizzard um chicken gizzard chicken heart I think this is the heart here that’s the gizzard chicken thighs chicken thighs chicken wings it’s spicy

The red ones that are really spicy ones here they have some uh vegetables grilled with it so it’s a lot of skewed Meats as you can see back there they’re grilling they have three stations where they’re actually grilling and the prices go depending on the type of meat they go

From 20 b 30 B and 50 B uh I don’t know which one is which but from I remember back in the days when we used to eat meat um I used to buy chicken wings for 50 B per skew uh chicken THS for 30 B for first

Cure okay here we have another um papaya salad and look at the mountain of shredded papaya she’s working hard look what you show I was trying to get between this to see her making the salad really cool so there’s the papaya salad if you haven’t seen it before it’s actually

Green papayas that they use to make the salad I know if you think papaya you probably think the rip one but it’s actually green yeah I love the the presentation how her stall has all the prepped vegetables that look really beautiful it looks clean mhm so here’s like uh twins kitchen so

They have fried rice and it’s a variety of fried rice like she has a whole variety somebody come A huge um a container like this look how much amountain of food and it is only 60 B and you can mix you can have two varieties and sometimes she also has

Ground chicken mixed with um basil and the little bit of spice it’s really delicious so again here it’s a twins kitchen it’s the same um I guess the same people but they still have S and they have uh noodles different noodles one is spicy one is not bento box and

They have these little kind of Bento boxes chicken wings with a little bit of noodles some rice her chicken wings are really tiny and she has different types of sauces Teryaki barbecue Korean garlic and how much is chicken wings 30 for how many four wings 50 B four wings 50 B

Okay cup C 100 100 100 uhh I’m working up an appetite here so this was my one of my favorite station look at how they make this this is so awesome and they also charge for 100 uh G is 300 B but it depends what you’re getting for example green grilled

Lamb ribs is 300 B per 100 G and grilled pork ribs is 100 Buck per 100 G so uh they weight right there for you and it’s looks really nice and glazed but what we noticed with the ribs uh different stalls we we tried the ribs

And uh they are a little bit um chewy I don’t know maybe Tai people prefer chewy um or that’s the way they make it but many people like them and buy them here here we have another stall with sweets and some type of mix I don’t even know

What this is but it’s 50 B I guess this a different types of dumpling sweet oh I smell a carrot cake it’s a carrot cake and they’re 25 B each carrot or banana I smell banana too yeah so right across this is a very popular uh sto amongst Russian and

Eastern European here they make the official shish kebab from um beef and chicken and um the difference between skewers and shish kebab kebabs are usually marinated with um some um onion vinegar and it has a really nice flavor they make them right here uh they set them on the tray and

When you purchase they rewarm it up it has really good seasoning great flavors great marinade it’s uh beef and chicken yes and it’s 100 B first cure and if you look at the chicken cure is huge so here we have some rice um so this is

Rice yeah look inside here you can see the inside it’s some type of Thai Delight we have not tried swe it called what’s the name of it what is it called colum saai awesome here’s mango sticky rice yeah awesome and that’s 50 B and a small I think just mangoes it’s just mango

Sliced and that’s a 40 B and look at this this is called D fuku these are strawberries covered in MO CH they are looking really beautiful they usually hear making them right here so so three you get one piece for 35 B and three pieces for 100 yeah M

Awesome and another pizza place this pizza is already pre-made right here I’m not sure if they warm it up but it’s kind of like a thicker dough well it’s kind of um it’s like um what is it called again Sicilians so they’re like square like deep dish yeah so one slice

Of Marin Margarita is 60 and with bacon ham or salami it’s 80 b0 right now strawberries are in season in Thailand and they come from shanai in the northern Thailand so here you can get a pack of strawberry for where’s um from shangai shangai and if you have kids you can get them

Chicken nuggets and french fries right here at 60 B each some cup pop so here we have veggies it’s a 40 b a pack of either mixed or just cucumbers mm cherry tomatoes here we have more of those uh things we saw earlier omelet Seafood omelette and here is a different style

Of fish this is a deep fried style over there we on the other row we so grilled one here is deep Fri sausages th Style saus 29 but and here they have TI again they’re making it right here and shrimp p is 90 B Seafood Pai is 100 B so here’s the different

Prices squid and over here again is the same Roy that’s what we saw over there where they were making it here we have um banana cake the these are like beef stuff with beef right yeah different different things tuna Fortuna H and this is kind of like a Russian Eastern European style of

Pastries they deep Fri stuffed with different type of things uh and right across this is called Croco Grill land I don’t know which one is crocodile but there is a it’s all it’s all crocodile hair yeah Barb style and look at the crocodiles right here so three skewers for 100

Bu here we have some seafood look at these clams oysters at the lobsters wow look at these boys how much the lobsters how much uh we have many P of Fri small one bu uhhuh and big one 1,500 1,500 and this big boy big one is 3,000 500

3,500 1 Kil and how do you cook them you grill with so you see some squids some tles grilled shrimps more grilled fish here wow so right next to the where they have all the lobsters you have different types of potatoes they do Burgers here yeah chicken burger is 60 B and beat

Burger is 100 B potatoes are 60 B so oh I think we miss um all Grill because they do an interesting um thing there and there’s always a lot of people there so they create these plates with sausages So This Is How They prepare it they have sausage uh chicken bread and

They Grill it all here and you put it all together and different sets cause differently for example grilled sausage set is 80b chicken set is 80 B pork 100 and a grilled combo set with pretty much everything is 120 B awesome and here we have some more uh

Kebab Kebab so there you have be they start from 70 B to 120 B over here you have smoothie and juice so they have the little um oranges oranges yeah and it’s all fresh this little bottle is 35 B but if you buy three it is 100

B us from here again we have our T yum C so we have Crab seaf Seafood oyster got fresh vegetables cupc salad is 60 B go and here we have fresh fruits so they cut the fruits up they prep it all here pineapple one bag is 30 B mhm so here

You have watermelon pineapple mango um dragon fruit this is papaya yes uhhuh papaya and this is Tha guava and on the outside it looks green but it’s and it is very sweet but hard as an apple and uh it’s funny because they soak it in this green um I guess sugar syrup to

Make it really sweet so here we have a fried chicken vendor he has rice for 10 B everywhere sells these bag rice uh for 10 B but chicken wings he does um uh chicken breast chicken legs chicken thighs and he cut it up all here really good here again we have some more

Seafood fish shrimp squid and they also Grill it for you right here and you notice this vendor does not have them on Ice the other vendor did have it on ice across you have salad station also if you are into salad um but here here they also add like chicken

Or tuna salad it is 50 B and it’s a little bit more variety with egg they have beans corn crab tuna and they also have H fresh um spring rolls but here they have it with uh something more inside like crab they have a egg salad look they have the whole egg inside

Salad it’s not CH dressings you could choose from once you get your salad and this type of popcorn is really popular here on the Target it is 30 B and wine Tha this is Tha wine and it’s very interesting because it this wine is not made out of grapes it’s made out of

Liloy pomegranate Mango Steam and you can see the price vary this is mango wine and uh some type of um uh Sparkle sparkly wine I’m assuming it is very sweet 260 B for the um the fruit wine I’m not sure what it tastes like yeah we never tried it yeah and there’s

Another Sushi stand if you thought 20 um bad for sushi piece was cheap this is 410 but you notice they much smaller yeah they’re very small but I mean a lot of variety get a lot of variety of sushi and they keep pumping them out yeah uh

In this they have salmon with ice I’m not sure yes this is grilled so a a stick of salmon is 50 B and salmon in the container like this is 150 B on the other side they have some sweets for kids and dried fruits so let’s quickly

Go around to the other side and see what else this Market has to offer here is another station with grilled skewers and here is a little bit different mix they have it’s 100 B per skewer of salmon with some vegetables to 100 B and uh

They have um fif 150 per oyster I don’t know how many oysters come for 150 one 150 and three for 150 okay so they have a different place and skewers of shrimp as well this is a very interesting strawberries and they are gorgeous this lady is making them so nicely one piece

Is 20 b and six pieces is 100 B look here you can see them in um slic have some little gold smeared on it so beautiful so cool french fries chicken nuggets and salads Y for the kitties and here Ry stand another Rosy stand that’s very popular here and this

Is very interesting this is called crepe rolls with different flavors they have ch chocolate taii tea orange one roll is 20 b they have Oreo banana chocolate blueberry strawberry we have never tried it but we see a lot of people hey buy [Laughter] it and this is the back end as you can

See there’s a lot of vendors here that sells a lot of a lot of lot of things wo we finally made it to the end this is a another side of the wind’s kitchen skewers we were just on that other side when I was showing you all the different

Skewers this is just another side to it because it’s so big but look at how they Grill it right there that’s so awesome yeah look how many grills they have yeah there’s like four grills uhh and we finally made it through all the Stalls what do you think of the food
