Eating in Kyoto JAPAN for $3 !?
We’re here in Kyoto and you can get cheap food we’re going to show you one of the most touristy places here just so you can kind of see the prices and get an idea so literally 500 yen here is $3 guys that’s 350 USD we even have fish
Down there mackerel Sashimi for 350 of course if you want some nicer Cuts then yeah it’s going to be a little bit more expensive this one here is $28 so if you want the whole shebang then you do have to Fork over the money but you can get

Eating in Kyoto Japan doesn’t have to be expensive. We were shocked to find out that Kyoto has some really cheap eats pretty much everywhere, from the street food vendors, to local mom and pop Restaurants, to the 7-11s on every corner. We found that we could get soup for $2-3 (udon wheat noodles with fish cakes) , sushi for $3-6 and lots of rice dishes for $6-7. The culture is very much a convenience society so there are a lot of “to go” already made meals at the local food markets for $5 and under.
