Was like from the lead city bus station but actually one of our students and Friends Marian is going to come pick us up and take us there oh say hello mayor hello hello are we going away today take okay already ready oh yeah he’s ready by being half naked yep that’s great

So so we are packed yes we’re going to Che two so we’re taking one check-in luggage which is the medium case here so that’s fits all our stuff in for all three of us uh we have a rock sack each because we’re not going to take a hand

Luggage case yeah you sitting on suitcase to help it close hello right go sit down and eat your finish your lunch because we need to go go finish your lunch Maya has her own little Rook sack with just uh some snacks and some of her soft toys uh this trie

Is it’s kind of a holiday but it’s also um a Sala event so we’re actually going to the 16th annual uh salsa Jam Festival in Cyprus H we’re going to be teaching there and there’ll be shows but there’s going to be beach parties pool parties we’re going to be staying at the Olive

Tree Resort uh so excited to see that I’ve never been yes so we’re staying at the resort um there’s Paul we’re staying in a TW bed family Suite so that’ll be exciting to show you guys around in terms of flight we’re I think it’s a 10 to 4

Flight this afternoon so we’re not going to arrive till quite late um there will be a bus transfer to take us to the hotel uh so we can just go straight to sleep the festival itself will start with a welcome party on Thursday and then the full Festival will

Start on Friday in terms of workshops and the parties and the shows right you need to go finish all lunch and we’re not going to be ready in time let’s go Mar’s going to come pick us up so we need to go go go Are You

Full oh she’s full right go sit down and finish your juice then at least because Mommy got the juice out for you yep go go go so in terms of jet two it’s been a long time since I flown with them uh so flights we paid to choose our seats we

Paid for the one checkin luggage there and back uh haven’t paid for any food I’m just going to grab some food and then take it on the plane once we get to the airport um I think that’s about it so I’m going to be vlogging along the way

Um I know Marin’s parking up at Le braford airport so that would be interesting to see and I think there’s a transfer from the car park to the actual airport as well uh so follow us along the way and we’ll catch you in a little bit you’re excited yeah you’re

That travel was definitely more than an hour in the end uh we got here I think it was almost 2: in the morning local time so we were all obviously desperate to get into our rooms anyway we started coming to the room and we thought we

Were going to be in the main Hotel because we were wanting a two bedroomed family Suite so that the so Maya had her own bedroom turns out we’re in one of the Villas uh no separate bedroom so we literally had to makeshift a bed on sofa for

Mayor our bedroom was through there um so I’m not unpacking anything because we’re hoping we’re going to get it sorted today um I mean they did bring a a travel cot but obviously Maya’s three now so she’s just too big for a travel cot um uh we then found the lights

Weren’t working so we needed someone to come out and help us with the lights we also found um that we didn’t know the Wi-Fi password so we had to ring and ask for that but I mean it’s a nice Villa room it’s just not suitable for what we’re

Needing U so I’ll just give you a quick it’s obviously a bit of a mess because we just got in so late we’ve not really slept well uh and we’ve been up just so we could get breakfast in time um it’s nice and clean nothing wrong just not suitable

For us right now so we shall see if they can sort us out in a room that we actually want so I’m going to head back to the lobby so I’m going to start the next Vlog so I shall catch you guys for day one which is a

In September 2023 we headed to Cyprus, for the 16th annual Salsa Jam Congress as a family. We were heading there for some work and pleasure, Maya always comes with us on our Salsa adventures and she was three at the time we traveled.
We flew from Leeds Bradford Airport with Jet 2 to Larnaca and then headed to Kyrenia by shuttle arranged by the event. We stayed at the Olive Tree Hotel which is where the 16th Annual Salsa Jam was held.
