Located in the hills of Wuppertal Germany is a unique suspended railway which opened in 1901. This is the oldest monorail system in the world and the only one of its kind. I will recommed this to all Tourists, go visit the city if you are near Wuppertal
It is amazing to see how this centuries old transportation is still providing smooth, fast and efficient traffic free, pollutiin free transportation to the city of Wuppertal today. The new trains which entered service in 2017 are sleek and modern.
They have windows at the sides for better views and behind you can even see more of the ground and the water ways in the City.
