Ah nice top of the mountain check it out what an awesome view down it’s not having it is It morning welcome to the channel and welcome to the French Alps this is lazou a little town and ski resort that sits at the bottom of the shaman Valley overlooking the one and only Mont Blanc Europe’s highest mountain and this is where I’ve been living and hanging out

For the past few days as a snowbomb it’s been amazing just getting up on the mountain every day with a snowboard and doing my thing facilities around and then chilling out in the crib in the evening and because of all that I’ve thought i’ do something absolutely totally different that we’ve never done

On the channel before today I’m going to take you around the mountain because I know and I hope that a lot of you that watch the channel and follow the series enjoy and appreciate the places that I take you to in terms of the beautiful scenic areas well look this place is

Super special and it’s a pure Rarity that we’re in a spot like this so I figured we’d do exactly that I’m going to show you how it is living as a snowbomb in a ski resort and then today I’m going to take you up on the mountain

Show you why I love my snowboarding so much and show you around the mountain cuz I do appreciate that not everybody in the world has ever been snowboarding skiing or up on an Alpine mountain and I got to tell you it’s bloody beautiful up there so first things first I’m going to

Go over the way to my local petitioner and see if I can get myself some lunch get back here sort the crib out cook some breakfast first and then get ourselves on the Gondola to the top of the mountain mate Wicked let’s do this oh first things first I found the

Toilets and showers last night I want to see if they’re open or not it’s a little bit early this morning although I feel late it’s like 10 8 already first gond is supposed to be half 8 nowhere’s open yet it’s a bit random but they ho the

Lunch Wicked little area it’s got everything little bar and restaurant tobacco shop uh meet and cheese sh up mate this guy rules just salamis and cheeses all day long and the peti here y so many good cakes oh so many good cakes oh hello so many sandwiches today yes

Morning yes yeah one of these then please yes please honestly look why why do we not have shops like this in England look it’s so good fresh cakes fresh cobs and such and forgets at the back we have them we have little bakeries but they’re

Just not as good as over here ah Wick mate that’s me set for lunch I would and I did yesterday eating a restaurant on the mountain I only had a little bit of flight I had a glass of water a Sprite and a plate of chips and it came to

About € so I’ve brought my lunch with me today it is a little bit excessively extortionate in the restaurants on the Mountain about £18 for a burger and chips so they have got you by the short and curries and it is Shaman it’s one of the most expensive places in in France

So yeah it is what it is more importantly for us now let’s feed the belly before we get up there baking the eggs you know right the kettle’s on time for a bit of a mission in terms of getting everything ready bursting first coat snowboards and helmet out of the

Bag oh rather the front of the car uh can’t get me words out still waking up here’s Ella it’s honestly a bit of a nightmare place to keep it cuz it drips obviously when I get home at night it’s covered in snow and then you scrape most of it I’ve put

It in there and whatever’s left on it melts all over your car gooded anyway the helmet right now we can do what we need to do every single morning and every evening start the car up and just give her a 10 15 minute run three rad ations on the glow plugs

To be honest if it doesn’t start yes it’s a pain in the ass but I have got a jump start kit so yeah I can always start it later on tonight not going to P about of it this morning right let’s see if she starts in I’m not going to be hes

Concerned it’s about4 9 that’s the first one going up supposed to be half eight debatable the bell of VI let’s hope I can find me way back to it tonight I got lost on the mountain yesterday and yeah struggled but yeah we’ll be all right

Yesterday and I’ve even brought him some beef jerky this morning I’ve got to find him mate i’ got to say hello he’s such an amazing dog I bet he’s not up here today goe I’m pretty sure the owner’s in this restaurant we got we found the owners look here’s the owners

These two people is this is this the son is this your son or he just worked with you no sorry I’m going to get myself in trouble cuz he both look beautiful that’s what it is you see but she’s a very good friendly so we’ve got the lowdown on the dog and

I’ve got to tell you I’m a little bit disappointed he’s not here today he’s down in the village I’ve been told he’s coming back up in two days and his name is Oscar I think I’ve got a shot of him somewhere so I’ll try and show you a picture him he’s absolutely beautiful

But yeah I might actually come back up in two days just to see the dog but I’ve caused trouble already I’ve only been on the mountain in 5 minutes mate there’s no way I can ride the mountain yet we need more coffee and I’ll show you the map and show you

Where we’re going to be heading it’s pretty cool okay so I admit it’s not the best of maps but it sort of gives us a rough idea this is the Bell View lift that we came up to a minute ago um this is the area that we’re at there are

Actually a few little runs around here that I was running yesterday but they’re very short I think what I’m going to do is kind of try and Traverse all the way over the mountain and down to this yellow area first which is the snowboard part they’ve also got a border cross run

But I haven’t managed to find that as yet but there is a couple of really nice little kickers there and a couple of rails and just a fun time to be had there yeah I think we’ll go over and I’ll show you that area first I love me

Hands up probably not going to be getting the kickers cuz they are quite big they’re not that big but I’m a little out of practice but there might be some geeses or kids and Little Nippers over there that are doing double back flips that we can have a look at so

And it’s a beautiful beautiful run all the way over there this Mountain especially I’m I’m really impressive it there’s so much up here that I can show you I won’t spoil it too much but there’s a number of beautiful little restaurants like this one serving food and searching there’s a couple of other

Bits I want to show you as well so hopefully today’s going to be a real funky day and something a little bit different that I don’t normally bring to the channel mate I mean look at this place mate we’re in the shadows and foothills of giants man up on top of the

I think she said and there’s a couple of mountain refuges up there essentially the mountain Refuge up there if you’re going to hike up to mon front which is like just a little bit over the top The Refuge up there is where you hike up

Till you spend the night and then you go up for the piz to Mont Blanc the next morning but mate what a stunning area man what a stunning spot for a coffee I should have asked for a c a latte though every time you ask for coffee over here

You get espressos man I keep forgetting but yeah uh coffee splashing milk bottle of water and a Sprite £10 it’s not the cheapest but you know you’re on the mountain man it’s you kind of expect it but hey ho we brought secret weapon with less munch I love it man cheese and hamburger

When I lived in Austria in so I used to work in a hotel I used to deliver food to the restaurant in the morning just lay it out you know and then in the evening I used to like do the meals as a waiter worked as a waiter but in the

Morning we used to have a massive like Austrian buffet with all cheeses and meats and Breads and such you know how they do and cuz I was working in the hotel was allowed to sort of have a breakfast and such and I used to make

Two of these every day to take on the mountain loads of salami nice cheeses bit of sauce and then yeah just saved me money on the mountain but was good times two seasons I did in Austria and I miss it a lot that area was amazing sold the

Western off 260 kilm a piece man very nice but hey we’re here now and enjoying this one I’ve been to Shaman before I don’t know if I mentioned it about 20 years ago but I’ve never been down to this area La only up in actual sham so we’ll be there

Still an epic day just being there I’m being on the mountains man I haven’t really properly snowboarded for 15 years I don’t know if I mentioned it and the last time was actually here bar a few days in Scotland so you know what I mean to get out on any mountain with decent

Length runs and a b snow it’s just Wicked mate I’m very tempted to have one last day here but it’s warming up a lot I kind of fancy half a day just sat on those jumps I reckon bit of practice man get me back in the flow we used to get

Big jumps back in the day when I was a kid in Austria jumping over roads and such so so yeah I’m not adverse to a big jump they’re not big jumps they’re quite little but be nice to sort of yeah get back in the flow you know tinner peas

That’s what I had to go with it and I kind of wish I’d done it now really actually fancy them some little green peas on the side but I didn’t and I do realize the burning smell was like a lay of something on the bottom of the pan I

Guess it was the awesome flavors from this cuz I’ve totally overcooked it all my days when I say overcooked that’s like a bloody soul of a boot but hey ho I’m going to waake up chill out man and to catch you guys in the morning morning uh well it’s not is it

No it’s late afternoon and it’s not even the morning after the meal before the night before and all that no it’s 4 days later mate I’ve been hanging out here and just enjoying me myself I’ve been up the mountain a couple more times I’ve done a couple of days worth of editing

And just trying to find me feet in the spot I do think I’m probably going to be making a move tomorrow or the next day but I think this is probably going to be the best point to end this episode I’ll genuinely really really do hope you’ve
