I visited Asakusa in the rain. It may not be well known, but Japan’s oldest underground shopping mall, located just outside the ticket gates of the Ginza Line, is one of Asakusa’s highlights. It is a space where time seems to have stopped, and its weirdness is even more pronounced at night.
