Depends on what you want for a long stay place and there’s a lot of foreigners that live in the countryside of udon which is most of udon but Nom pom is mostly Countryside the city is beautiful it doesn’t have a um a lot of options for Foreigner shopping

There are some if you can cook your own food there’s plenty of options but as far as places to eat maybe a handful not too many udon has many westerners especially Europeans uh that live there and um yeah I think udon is a much better

Place to try to settle in than the com home but again it just depends on what you want I kind of like the peace and quiet to come home to and to go visit those areas more so than probably want to live there fulltime but that’s just me and

Paige we don’t really want to sit anywhere too long anyway when you agree udon’s probably better for a foreigner yeah if you can really adapt to the Tha style UD is better yeah mhm a if you want to leave live in the Ean region where I think people are much

Friendlier I think the food tastes better as far as Thai food personally and it’s less expensive I think if you want to live in Ean udon’s a good place udon conen bur Ram uh ubon Nom panom uh those areas I think are definitely worth checking out but as far

The politics part of it or try to get around a bunch of Transat or people begging for money I don’t like that here either but as far as the countryside if you can close your eyes to that stuff it’s a beautiful country I’m sorry a a beautiful state I

Morning somebody had asked me that I should invite the monks in the house for dinner no they can’t eat yeah after lunch well I think they thought that my video I was making was at night time but it was it was dark cuz it was only 5: in the

Morning but they’re only allowed to eat one meal a day and they can’t eat after lunch after 12 after 12:00 they cannot eat they can drink and probably have some snacks they didn’t get that big from one meal they can have like a uh these yurt you know cake that’s

Saying they could probably have some snacks at night just not a meal no no me it I’m sure there are some loopholes some of them are pretty pretty fullsize like those two that just walked by but they may not have been monks for very long too wow a lot of them become

Monks for short periods of time for the family but no you you can invite them into your home and feed them but some most of the time it’s for an occas housewarming marriage some some kind of Celebration and usually they’ll accept donations for that and a meal

Right do they do it for nothing if they or is it like you got to donate to them is there a fee it’s no fee but it’s just like for the time to come out you know get them donation you know they have to have some f to go get some gas to

Come out to see you you know right that’s true nothing’s free even here unless they walk anyway we’re not talking much money anyway wash his truck 5 and A2 5 and a half rounds that’s about uh almost 6,000 steps oh here’s a story on this house

House but he’s dead so you not give it to the kid the kid take take go uhhuh the proud kids are going to take over his father’s home that he stole the money from the temple basically yeah it’s happened everywhere In tha yeah it happens all over the world

Actually you know probably more so in the west we there nothing new we have like these mega churches where the preacher Pastor whatever holy man comes in on a helicopter or Fleet of limos how are you sir we just like to ask you about why you don’t want

Have passed so that they’ll have food in their next life and uh they receive a prayer and uh some wishes of good long life and health from the monk so of course the the temple benefits from the food a lot of times they get too much food and they’ll donate it back to

People the other day one of them gave me a couple of c g the the fried sticky rice I mean the baked sticky rice fatty but um inside the temple is a lot of people um a lot of people can come there if they’re down and out the homeless

Need some help need some shelter some food uh they’re welcome to the temple there’s a lot of children in the temple a lot of homeless children a lot of children that their family can’t afford to feed them so they live in the temple and they get to eat a couple

Times a day right the kids do the little mom they eat twice a dayce so there’s a lot of things happening in the temple and they teach the kids an education and they also you know they use money donations for the for the to run the temple you know electricity

Um it it cost money to do anything on the planet so and uh some of the people that work in there also they pay and around they own a lot of land out here but have to maintain electricity is expensive yeah look at there speak speaking of

Doing stuff to the temple there’s about 20 guys hanging from a rope up there yeah morning also the temple is pretty much closed no celebrations for the past really the past 3 and 1/2 Years Transformer Transformer right [Applause] here okay let’s go uh let’s go get Mom or I should say let’s go eat lunch with Mom and then take her to the to the store it’s a lot of people at the clinic it’s been closed uh I think for the whole

Festival and it is like jam packed right now we are here at Mom’s house think she’s ridden her bike at all but maybe uh maybe Jim and Mel can get get her to do it I’m not sure let’s uh let’s see what’s Cooking I think her neighbor is gone I see she left her stuff out well good morning or good afternoon good afternoon mom’s going to make us some Sloppy Joe’s I’m going to heat them up I already made it and um the micro ah the macaroni and cheese is is for the

Microwave yeah so we’ll have that too yeah American dish you got a different hang I think fell off too I don’t know it may fall for there yeah I’ll figure something out huh figure something else out do what we’ll figure something else out then it
