Experiencing Split, Croatia – Adriatic coast | Views and sights
Our visit to the largest coastal city in Croatia (no, it’s not Dubrovnik!), Split is a one of a kind place. A UNESCO World Heritage Site due in no part to the sprawling Diocletian’s Palace. The busy port is just a stones throw from the Palace, and the Cathedral of Saint Domnius, and the must-see Grgur Ninski Statue. It’s a wonderful place to visit, or base to explore many of Croatia’s islands.
