Day 209 of Full Time Travel – New Years Eve in Tokyo, Japan
It is day 209 of traveling around the world and it is New Year’s Eve in Tokyo we headed down to Shinjuku we enjoyed walking the bustling streets and then headed to the Tokyo Metropolitan government building where they were doing a countdown the streets were packed with people for the countdown and
They had it up on a big screen in front of the building 3 2 1 happy New Year and follow along as we travel around the world
We are Ellen and Rob, we quit our jobs in June to travel around the world on $100/day. It is New Years Eve and we are in Tokyo! Staying out all night at the club isn’t really our jam, so when we saw that there was a public countdown we thought it would be the perfect spot for us!
