We went to Okinawa, Japan in October, 2018 and had an amazing time. We stayed in Naha at Hotel JAL City by Kokusai Dori Shopping Street which we can find a lot of Restaurants, cafe, malls and souvenirs shops – everything we needed. We went into a hedgehog cafe named Chiku Chiku by the street
and had quite a fun time admiring and feeding the cute little creature.
We also went in Makishi Fresh Market to have super fresh seafood because we heard we can just pick one and they’ll cook it for us. Turned out, we didn’t have a ball to pick steven or kyle and tell them to chop that one for us please. So we went to the top floor and order a normal seafood dish for us. It was also nice not to know who we actually ate.
We took a snorkelling trip to Nagannu Island which was very nice. The water temperature was at 25 degree. Not super sunny that day but the water was crystal clear and we can see lots of fish around Nagannu islands plus, we got to feed them (also I got bitten from small stripy fish).
Then we hired a car for our road trip all the way up to the top of Okinawa. Starting from Naha, we stopped for gas and some drinks before the journey and we couldn’t resist to drop in at Araha Park. You’ll see how pretty it looks in my video. Anyway, our actual plan was to drive to Cape Hedo and stop at Cape Maeda, Cape Manzamo – the one that looks lke an elephant, Churaumi Aquarium (which you will see in our Wonderful road trip in Okinawa (Part 2)) and Kouri Island (also would appear in part 2).
We want to recommend Yakiniku Dre x Dre restaurant near Cape Manzamo, because it’s awesome. We had burgers there and they were THE BEST!!! Please don’t miss if you have a chance to visit Okinawa. They serve BBQ beef mainly.
After that we’ve passed Koki beach that drawn us in like magnet. It was so pretty as you can see in my video.
Then we realized it’s about time that the sun dues to set, we rushed to Bisezaki Kaigan to have a walk in the tree trail and watch the sunset by the beach. Very beautiful!
