GOZO, MALTA
Welcome to another positive travel guide from Charlie and tabs and for this collection of videos we’ve hit Malta so don’t forget to like subscribe and hit the notification Bell to see more of our videos now as part of our ticket to the Blue Lagoon this included
A cruise across to goo and a couple of hours on this island goo is the second largest island after Malta in the the Republic of Malta collection of 15 different Islands the ticket we bought was around 30 and that included a sailing to the Blue
Lagoon and also the sailing to goo and a bus transfer to Victoria the capital of goo and of course a bus transfer back there are plenty of churches and plenty to see in goo itself this really is a spectacular place and it’s well worth a visit if you are coming to
Malta the population of Goo is around about 31,000 people there are plenty of tourist places here plenty of places to go and eat and drink restaurants and bars as well as outside eateries in the main Square I love these Sandstone buildings that you find around goo and these tiny
Little streets lots of hidden little Places this is the main Town Square in Victoria in goo and it really is very pleasant indeed bars and restaurants mingle around the churches and the memorials there are lots of War memorials here in goo which as well as molter itself played a massive part during World War II with his proximity to
Italy we only had a couple of hours here and so unfortunately we didn’t get to see everything that goo has to offer and if I return to molter again I would definitely do a whole day here there is so much to see and the architecture is just absolutely Fantastic it is quite hilly here and I did not to set the curves rather large so if you are in a whe chair please do take extra care whether you’re here to have a walk around or to see the sights or to relax with a cup of tea or maybe just lie
There like this little fell did this is the Citadel and also where the city walls are as well this is at right at the top of Gozo and the views from the top of there are really magn anicent and we’ll show you then in just a moment I love these water features that
Have been here for lots of years I just loved this place and there were lots of shops selling all sorts of handmade goodies and treat souvenirs to take home to remember a trip to goo Island in MTA wait until you see these views here it comes now that is the money shot people have lived on these islands since 500 BC so there is plenty of History to explore and enjoy some of the oldest structures in the world can be found on this Island
There is a ferry that goes from Malta to goo and a return ticket is around about5 so it isn’t expensive to get here during the summer months you can often see malte wall lizards on these rocks but we didn’t see anything of the sort in 1551 goo was invaded by the Ottomans and
It is said that most people shielded in the Citadel but it didn’t stop 5,000 residents here being taken into slavery there is a memorial to this 1551 Invasion here at Citadel and here’s tabs keeping a watchful eye out for any possible Invaders this really is a beautiful
Place to visit and I would highly recommend it we didn’t get to see all the wonderful sites here in Victoria and it was time to leave so we hopped on the Hop On Hop off bus back to thec terminal and headed back to molta Mainland itself don’t forget to like subscribe hit the
