On my very first trip to Singapore, the local colleagues took me to BQ.
I probably been back to sg 10 times since…. and haven’t stepped foot in BQ haha.

I know which restaurant you went to, lucky you didn't have food poisoning because what you ate was leftover food from a few days ago and the ingredients that have been left not used for weeks was use to prepare the meal.

The amount of satay meat on the sticks look pathetic and not well cut, and looks bland with no spices. And those meat looked shrunk which means they were not grilled over fire. Seriously not qualified to be called satay. The dumplings don’t look appetising at all, and they literally looks sad like a heat-up frozen food. I normally get steamy hot puffy dumplings at my favourite eating place. Fried rice looks dry and seems like nothing in it. Uncle Roger would surely ban them from cooking anymore fried rice. Normally people become chefs because they love food and love to cook. But this chef cooks because he gave up on life 🥴 I would prefer to spend my hard earned money at 18 Chefs for heart attack fried rice, The Dim Sum place for the dumplings and tofu dish, Tash Tish Tosh for tender meat/wagyu, Halia Restaurant for the best medium rare steak, Ayer Rajah hawker centre for the juicy satay.
Should you be more concerned with bringing the truth than bringing some positivity to the restaurant owners? When you do a review, you should always identify the merchant or restaurant name. If not, why do it at all? An honest review with clear name and location is important
