Thanks again for following the series and subscribing to the channel. I hope this series helps people understand how other places like Vietnam and Ho Chi Minh City are dealing with the COVID-19 pandemic.
This video was shot over the Reunification/Labor Day 4 day weekend, so the city was probably quieter than it would have been on a normal weekend but it still feels like many people are staying in. The cafes don’t feel like they’re the least bit crowded and tables are spaced apart at least 1 meter but many tables are at least 2 meters apart. It’s wonderful to be once again enjoying a coffee outside and to be surrounded by the atmosphere of Saigon. We are very lucky here in Vietnam to be enjoying some regular everyday type amenities considering there are many countries still under lockdown, even in Southeast Asia. I think we are still far away from being able to relax and feel like the pandemic is over but for now, I’m grateful for these new freedoms. Thanks again for watch and all of the positive feedback.
