I took a 4K video while taking an evening walk around Ueno Station in Tokyo.
In addition to the Ueno Zoo, which I walked in the previous video, Ueno is home to many national museums and art museums, and there are so many different exhibits to enjoy that it is impossible to visit them all in a very short day.
In contrast to the nature-rich and peaceful zoo and museum area, the atmosphere of the Ueno Ameyoko shopping street, known as “Ameyoko,” is quite different. Ameyoko is a lively shopping street with remnants of the post-World War II black market, and many restaurants line not only the main streets but also the back alleys. You can feel a different kind of atmosphere in Tokyo, so be sure to visit this area when sightseeing in Ueno.
